Hey Chins! Glad to see so much activity!
Melody, I know you're glad to be home and I've been thinking about Wil ever since I read your post in OD. I hope he gets some pain relief soon and that you all can get some rest.
Catherine, the storm was a lot worse than we expected, but nothing compared to Hurricane Isabel in 2003, although we got more rain this time than Isabel. I don't think I've ever seeen so much rain! We lost power around noon yesterday - right after I finished PUB and 1/2 Yoga X, luckily - and I was sure we wouldn't get it back until at least Monday, but lo and behold, it came back on at 4:30! Thanks for thinking of me.
Adri, gymnasts are notorious for being able to do zillions of pull-ups; I'm unfortunately going to have to add you to the ranks of all the other gymnasts I'm not speaking to.
Hey, that's it! Maybe I'll become a gymnast, and then I'll be able to finally do a pull-up!
Briee, how could we ever have thought you had gone AWOL, when all you did was go speeding off to Great America with 13 teenagers, wreaking havoc by illegally doing dips at all the turnstyles. (I don't even want to think about how else you were leading these innocent children astray.)
I did something to my darn upper back again yesterday, either during PUB or Yoga X (it COULDN'T have been yoga, though.) I really don't know what I did because I didn't feel anything unusual during the workouts, but the pain kept waking me up all night, and it feels really sore this morning - worse than the rhomboid thing I had earlier this year. I hate to admit it, but I feel my body's starting to age this year. I NEVER used to get injured, and this year I seem to be tweaking things at the drop of a hat. It's not that the pain from these minor injuries is debilitating, it just keeps setting my workouts back! ARGGH!
Janie, Joanne, HB, waving a big hello!
