(((((((CHINTASTICA)))))))

OK...now it is showing disc 20. I wonder if you have to log off then back on for it to show on my screen cuz last night it was still on 17:confused:

Catherine- Glad you are feeling better today. I've been falling behind on my rotation too. In fact, I haven't done legs for 2 weeks and rather than go back, I just skip them. Oh well....;)

Linda- Do you have any of the Powerstrike workouts? IMHO, they are easier and are my "go to" KB workouts when I want less intensity.

Today is supposed to be disc 20 legs but I'm going to do #21 back/biceps instead. Maybe I'll get to it this weekend. Can you tell I don't like working legs?:p

Catherine - Glad to hear you are feeling better!

Judi - No I don't have any of the Powerstrikes. May have to look into those though. Forgot to mention with Ki9mberly one of the things that make her workouts fun is her use of the body bar for combat intervals.

Surprised this morning that I DOMS in my back from Kimberly's Weighted Combat Intervals from Absolute Kickboxing yesterday.

Today I did not feel like working out at all, but bite the bullet and did Step Blast with little enthusiasm.:p Workout was 55 minutes and I burned 363 calories.

Linda, Meso 3 is right around the corner:eek::eek:

Judi, I hear ya on leg workouts. Give me cardio or upper body any ole day ;)

This morning was Shoulders &Arms. I was able to increase either reps or wt on all exercises. Tomorrow is Yoga X YUMMY!! :D

Catherine - Nice job on upping the weights! I know I can believe Meso 3 is almost here. I think I am going to take a rest day tomorrow in addition to Sunday to gear up for it. Doesn't help that school started this week and I am back to having to get up early and DD has an early morning soccer game tomorrow!

Trying to post a pic of my new hair color

373934191.jpg

Catherine - Your hair looks beautiful and shiny, but hard to tell the color.

No workout for me, but did run around with a bunch of 4 & 6 year olds for an hour. And believe me I was sweating and breathing hard!:p

Well, I forced myself to do disc 20 legs yesterday and all I can say is OUCH!! I know I've said this before but "I really hate those paper plate slides!" I feel there is a significant weakness in my left hamstring (the one I tore) vs my right and something I need to address before it gets any worse. Today will be Disc 22 chest/shoulders/triceps plus a long walk with the dog and stretch to ease the soreness out of my legs.

Catherine- Your hair looks fab! I love the style. What is your natural hair color? I'm a mousy brown but color mine blond to hide the gray:eek: High fives on upping your wts/reps...that is great progress.

Linda- Are both your kids in school now? I thought you mentioned one started kindergarten. How is that going? I remember sending my baby off to kindergarten and now she is in college! Are you starting Meso 3 this week? Let me know what you think of plyo legs.

Catherine - I thought it was black, but wasn't sure it was just a lighting thing. I like it!

Judi - No, DD is still in preschool just two mornings a week. Next year she will go to kindergarten. My problem with kindergarten is it just went from half day to full day this year and I really didn't want to see her have to go full day yet.:(

Today was day one of Meso 3 and it was Chest and Back done push pull style for 4 sets, 8 reps with a minute rest between every set. So do chest rest a minute, do back rest a minute, then back to chest and so on. Problem was my low back was aching this morning which is never a good thing on back day:confused::confused::confused::confused:.

Judi, nice job getting legs done. When did you tear hamstring? OUCH:confused: Thanks for the compliments on the hair. My hair is naturally a medium brown.

Linda, starting Meso3 off right aren't ya  WOW on those numbers!!

Well, I am in a funk. My foot is acting up again. It was doing so good and thing is I didn't do anything to aggravate it  I've racked my brain and the only thing that is different is that I missed my magnesium supplement for the last 4 days. I started taking it about a month ago because I read that it my help. Well, maybe it was and missing doses has flared it. Cross your fingers that getting back on it helps. Meantime, I'm taking a few days off just to be safe.

When did you tear hamstring?

I tore it last summer while screening for my black belt. Two years prior, I tore my rotator cuff while sparring during my first black belt exam. Do you see a pattern here?? I would really like to go back to karate because I'm so close BUT I seriously can't afford to tear any more body parts!

Linda, starting Meso3 off right aren't ya  WOW on those numbers!!

Yeah, her numbers just blow me away:eek: Today was the last chest W/O of Meso 2 and I just prayed my 72# BB for BP didn't kill me.

I'm sorry to hear your foot is acting up again. That must be so frustrating. Keeping my fingers crossed that the magnesium helps!

Well, even with major leg doms, I forced myself to go biking this morning. Clocked in at 1 hour 55 minutes, aprox. 23 miles and 724 calories. I could hardly get off my bike when I got home:confused: OUCH!

What's everyone else up to today?

Catherine - Sorry to hear your foot is acting up again. Hope the magnsium works as well. Have you ever tried B6, my massage recommended it for nerve help.

Judi - Must be heartbreaking to be that close to your black belt and not have it! I can't believe you rode your bike with leg DOMS!

I did Amy's Kickbox Surge this morning, replacing the first surge with the med ball challenge 3 from Amy's In The Ring. Workout was 1:00 and I burned 503 calories. :D

Oh and I have some good DOMS in my chest from Disc 25 yesterday.:D Tomorrow is Plyo Legs!!!!!!!

Okay, the DOMS from plyo legs is already setting in!:eek: Something tells me I am going to be very sore tomorrow!

Any of you ladies know what kind of cardio I can do while I army crawl around on the floor ?:p:p:p:p:p

Sorry ladies, I've been in a funk this week. Foot still bothering me and having other health issues :( No workouts this week so far. Hopefully I'll get back to it soon.

LOL...gotta love those DOMS!

When I'm hurting, I usually hit the elliptical or ride my bike.

OH Catherine- Sorry you've been having a tough week:( Thinking of you and hoping that funk goes away soon. HUGS!

Catherine - Hoping you feel better soon! {{{HUGS}}}

My legs are really sore from Plyo Legs so I did 4 DS HIS/LIS. Workout was 56 minutes and I burned 428 calories.

I decided on Bosu Blast this morning, burned 445 calories and my core was on fire! I probably should have skipped the core part since I did weights & plates yesterday but it is such a good one on the bosu.

Tomorrow is the last workout of Meso 2...Woo Hoo!! I am ready for a recovery week.
