(((((((CHINTASTICA)))))))

Linda, you are smart to rest. My foot did ok. It's a bit sore this evening, but I think that's more from all of the walking I did today. Was able to do all of the moves. The balance lunges I did with the foot resting on top of the step so the pressure was off the toes. On the toe roll iso lunges and sneaky lunges I just made sure to go slow and really watch my form. My toushie is sore already.

My first week of P90X is done**does the happy dance** Only 12 more weeks to go. 12 weeks sounds better than 83 days:p I actually did KenpoX this morning. I couldn't really motivate to do anything really. So I just put in the dvd and did it. It's a pretty low key kickbox w/o IMO. I was actually able to do the jumping jacks. Funny how my foot tolerates some things and others it doesn't. I can figure out a pattern to it.

I hope you all are having a good day! I have nothing else planned. I am a bit bummed about vacation coming to an end :(

Today is technically a rest day for me. But I did CCV1 (minus C3) on the stationary. That was 7.2 miles. I didn't want to push too hard since it is a rest day but I wanted to do something. I may even pop in StretchX later- who knows :p

Linda, I hope you are recovered.

Judi, are you back from the cabin?

For the most part I feel good with my cold like it's almost gone, until I try and do something.:( I did Tonya Larsen Step Surge Combo Only premix. This is only 43 minutes and pretty intermediate, but I was huffing and puffing and exhausted halfway through. Wanted to do more but that was all I could handle. Burned 323 calories.

This morning I started off with 4DS LIS cardio only premix and was feeling much better than yesterday so I went ahead and did 4DS HIS cardio only skipping the w/u. Workout 54 minutes and burned 378 calories. Then took a 1:16 walk with client for another 349 calories.:D

Okay, big decision here...Meso 3 is coming and do I do Plyo Legs or Squat Rack legs????

Linda, hopefully Judi can weigh in on the squat rack vs plyo legs option. I never made it past Meso1 with the legs. Although I did do one of the plyo legs w/o before surgery and I loved it. Glad you are feeling better!

Today was C&B for me AKA pushups and pullups from hell :eek: I improved my numbers on almost all sets. Still doing a lot of assisted pulls and chins though  This workout is tough but thankfully it goes by fast. Oh and my record for doing Ab RipperX is still perfect :D I love Pfifer scissors -not really but I am trying to turn it around and learn to love them:p

Nice job Catherine! I am leaning towards doing plyo legs because I really don't want my legs any bigger and thought perhaps plyo would be more likely to lean them out a bit. Besides I do squat rack legs all the time.

Then my vote is for plyo legs!!

Got back from the cabin late last night. My forearm is back to normal but decided to wait one more day before I lift. I did CCV5 on the TM this morning and am excited to report that I ran the last 4 sprints at a 6 1/2 minute mile pace. Thankfully they are only 30 seconds long:confused:

Catherine- You are making me want to do P90X again! I hated C & B but really made some improvements in my pushups, pulls & chins. It is so true that the only way to get better at them is to do them. Glad you were able to do Kenpo..weird how that doesn't bother your foot but step does.

Linda- I decided to do plyo legs for Meso 3 even though I bought squat stands for the squat rack legs. Problem was that I needed to squat a weight that was too heavy for my upper back/shoulder area. Holding the bar in that position would also aggravate the shoulder that I had surgery on. I hope to get Cathe's weight vest when she comes out with the adjustable 20# one. Plus, plyo legs was really fun.

You are so right about making improvements. That is exactly why I am doing P90X- to help me get my chin up numbers back up.

Nice job with your intervals!!

Judi, nice job on CCV5! Glad to hear your arm is doing better.

I think plyo legs it is! But of you have used the word fun and I am tired of traditional leg work.

This morning was Tracy's StrikeZone. Workout was 1:00 and burned 445 calories.

This morning I did Kimberly Spreen's Absolute Kickbox and my shoulders really felt the two back to back KB workouts. Workout was 1:08 minutes and I burned 420 calories.

Great news! I have a chiropractor that sits on our city's Planning/Zoning Board for which I am the secretary. Well he just found out from someone else that I am a personal trainer and asked me for a bunch of cards because he and his wife (who is also a chiropractor) are always referring clients to personal trainers for rehab and for overall conditioning. WooHoo! What a great opportunity!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Linda, that's awesome news!! I am excited for you. Keep us posted on your business-I love hearing about it.

Judi, what are you up to this week??

I am out of commission today. I had a pretty bad migraine and didn't go to work :( I feel better. Somewhat of a dull ache now. I'll get back to it tomorrow.

In the past few months I have had three or four of the "aura" experiences, but so far have managed to avoid actually getting the migraine. From what I understand they are horrible, so I feel really bad for you. Hope you feel better soon!:D

Catherine- Sorry about your migraine. I've only had a couple but they are horrible. Hope you are feeling better soon. Are you on your second week of P90X?

Linda- That is great news about the chiro wanting your business card! I hope it brings in more clients for you. You are brave to do 2 KB workouts back to back. How do these workouts compare to Amy's Surge and ITR? I'm always in the market for more KB workouts plus I'm thinking of going back to karate for their KB and pad strike classes. Let's just hope I don't tear something again!

Yesterday was Disc 19 chest/shoulders/triceps and I seem to still be at the same numbers as my first round:mad:

Today I did 90 minutes on the elliptical burned 694 calories while watching True Blood. I'm liking those vampire stories lately.

Linda- Are you having trouble getting your STS ticker to update? I updated mine before my post ^^^ but it didn't work. It should be on disc 20.

Judi - KImberly's KB workouts are easy compared to Amy, but they are fun. I do however tend to grab them when I want a less intense workout. As far as the ticker goes I was having trouble with it updating, in it wasn't, so I went and reset it the other day and now have to wait and start Meso 3 to see if they finally have it fixed and it will update on it's own. I see yours is reading disc 20 now.

I am feeling much better this morning!! Now I am behind on my rotation. I might be able to catch up this weekend. If not,... Oh well :p

Judi, I see your ticker saying disc 20.
