We've done four nights of Vacation Bible School and I wake up in the morning exhausted. Today weights sounded okay but I had no desire for cardio. But I managed to do 4DS BootCamp Biceps & Triceps Weights first Premix. But like I said I was in no mood for cardio so I only managed to do 9 drills. Workout was 1 hour and burned 351 calories. The weight segment took me a little longer figuring out the setup for each exercise.
 
Linda- There must be something going around because I have been in no mood for cardio either. Maybe it is the heat. I managed to take the dog for an hour walk then did Muscle Max. I haven't done a heart pumping cardio since Imax Extreme on Monday:eek:

Catherine- How was Ruth's Chris? I like me some good steak once in awhile:p I had to LOL at your comment on the CCPP thread that your extra challenge will be getting off your bike....funny! I will be doing it if I can get myself out of this cardio slump.
 
Ruth's Chris was great. The wine was great, salad was yummy and the petit filet was awesome. I brought the cheeese cake home for DH (my dinner was with an old friend). I feel like I need an extra :eek:w/o

Judi, what will you be doing for CCPP-running?? Seriously, just finishing it on the stationary is enough for me :confused:

Linda, do you think the heat is gettng to you?? I don't know what the weather is like up there but it is hot and humid here and it's AWFUL!!

BTW, I am blown away about Michael Jackson!!

I did Lauren Brooks KB workout this morning. My first kb w/o in months! I had to modify some, but did well. Oh, I used an 8 kg bell through out. Didn't want to push it. I really think I need kbs to get my low back straightened out again.

What are you all up to today?

Catherine- No I think it is the vacation bible school getting to me. That and with 4DS it's cardio EVERY day, just feeling cardioed out!:confused: Also for VBS it was weeks of decorating, making props and I have been singing and acting each night.:confused: Also think it may really be time for a rest week!;)


Judi - Nice job on IMAX Extreme. Those workouts scare me.

Okay, last night of Vacation Bible School! WooHoo! I am exhausted! Managed 4DS LIS & Shoulders weights first Premix. Then took a 3.5 mile walk with my client, then kids and I went grocery shopping. LIS took me 53 minutes and I burned 300 calories.
 
Linda, I am glad things are rapping up for VBS. I am sure it's been worth it even though you are wore out!! Is that a new client you are working with?

Judi, how are you legs today after doing PP?

I did CCPP this morning on the stationary bike. Didn't want to, but as soon as I heard Jim's voice and words I was so motivated! But man, oh man is this tough on the bike :confused: Heck, I guess it's just tough no matter what you are doing it on :eek:

This morning I did LIC. I hate circuit style stuff, but man oh man was I sweating :eek: Still don't feel like I got a "good" weight w/o- esp thie legs. Oh well. I am just experimenting with some stuff. I really need to do some chins :eek:

Oh and the foot is just wierd. It starting bothering me a bit toward the beginning of the w/o and then it got better. There is definitely still swelling in a couple of toes and that adds to my discomfort. I am contemplating going back just for a quick check to make sure all is going as it should be.
 
Today I took an additional rest day. Ended Vacation Bible School on Friday with DD being sick. By Saturday and my family reunion both DS & DD were sick. Only got through that by keeping them heavily medicated. Oh, Saturday morning I did Kimberly Spreen's Absolute Kickbox. Sunday was my normal rest day and ended up taking both kids to Urgent Care. No strep just a nasty virus. Had a horrible headache myself ALL DAY yesterday and digestive system is a wreck. So just taking care of the kiddos, because even today they are still in a lot of pain with their throats. But did manage to do an hour of WeedMax today so far.

No, workout for me this morning again. Was in the bathroom 7 times within the first hour that I was up. DD got sick this morning. Looking like another fun day! Did manage an hour of weed/Mulch Max this morning though.
 
Hey Ladies- Things have been hectic here as we have been getting ready to leave for the cabin. I'm going to go nuts without my computer for 10 days as we have no internet access up north:confused: We leave on Friday so I decided to do 4DS as produced for the next 4 days. I'll be running and doing body weight exercises while I'm gone. I'll miss you guys!

Linda- So sorry to you and the kids are sick. Take it easy and rest. Hope you all feel better soon!

Catherine- Great job on CCPP! That workout is tough no matter what equipment you use. The first challenge with the ten hills/sprints and only 30 second rests in between kicks my butt! I agree with you on circuit workouts in that the weight part just doesn't cut it and isn't enough to feel worked out weight-wise..
 
Judi, have fun at the cabin!! Make sure to find a tree you can do some chinups on :p

Linda, I hope you get some rest from sick young ones soon. You did mention you may need a rest week- I guess this is not what you intended :confused:

I did 4ds kb with the wt work first. I took a chance and did the jumping jacks. The foot is throbbing a bit, but didn't hurt while I was doing it. I hope that's a good sign.

Must do some chinups,..............

Me, I made eleven trips to the bathroom today, but did manage to haul four yard carts of top soil this evening. It's least better than nothing!:D
 
No workout for me today, but I did manage an hour of shovel/weed/mulch max before the sky opened up and poured on me, then I had to leave anyway.
 
Linda, sure sounds like a w/o to me :p

I didn't w/o this evening. I've been in a bad mood all day and completely drained :( Decided to rest.
 
I am glad I took a rest last night. I feel so much better this morning. Oh and I am going back to the podiatrist to ask "isn't my foot supposed to be better than this by now?" Maybe I am impatient or just had unrealistic expectations, but I would have thought I could do more by now. Hopefully he can shed some light on this.
 
Catherine- Glad you are feeling better today. I'm hoping your podiatrist can give you some encouraging news. Your frustration is completely understandable....I would feel the same way.

Linda- I agree with Catherine...shovel/weed/mulch Max is a workout in itself! Hope everyone is feeling better!

I have 4DS BC/Bi/Tris this morning then shopping and packing for the cabin. I may be able to pop in while out of town as DH's tech employee synced his laptop to his cell phone so we are supposed to be able to get online. Makes sense in theory but we'll see if it actually works.....keeping my fingers crossed. I can get online with my phone but the screen is so small it is virtually impossible to read and post anything. Otherwise, I'll be back on the 13th. Have a great 4th weekend!

Once again I did nothing but Landscape Max for an hour. Then did go to work and walk 3.5 miles with client while pushing DD in stroller. That counts right? Have no idea what I am going to do starting Monday? Guess I better get thinking.


Now tell me, how can someone completely clear their digestive system and only eat the bare minimum for four days and not even lose an ounce????:mad:
