Oh no Adri...you are very wanted!!! We just can't speak to you that's all. It's a matter of principle. I mean...we began this chinup site not being able to do chins or many chins at least, and it has now come to our attention that there are some people in the world who are just "gifted" in the area of chins and can seem to do them in their sleep, there are even others who have posted outrageous numbers of chins (ie 20 per set) who have been accused of being male rather than female (this just sicken's me, what dispicable person could accuse another of being a guy just because she can do 20 chins), and still others who have shown up as guests in our own homes who hop up to the pullup bar and do 3 without ever having worked out in the past 20 years and well......I could go on and on as to the incredible injustices in the world, but basically we just had to draw the line somewhere. So we have chosen not to speak to various people who by some genetic fluke can just DO chins. Until proven otherwise...you fall under that catagory. I mean...what kind of a person can just pump out 15 chins, that's more chins than you are old!!!

Okay...what we basically need to know is that you have put in incredibly long hours of gruelling workouts, involving blood, sweat and tears (and occasionally throwing up) to achieve this level of incredible fitness you are at...and when you can prove this (please have the letter notorized) we will be speaking with you again:p :p :p :p (maybe...and then only if you promise to eat one donut).

Briee (just screwing around because I DON'T feel like doing ABX, and I think Adri is such a good sport and a blast to have on the chinner site :7 and does anyone know if I misspelled dispicable? )

Hey Chinstahs! No chins for me yet due to lingering upper back/neck soreness. I'm going to do PLB later this afternoon followed by some light yoga.

Adri, you sound like a very talented, fit, strong and determined 8th-grader! What awesome traits and how great you have this passion at such an early age.

Catherine, glad to hear you're on the mend and back working out. You're obviously no quitter. I won't start P90X until everything's COMPLETELY healed. No more setbacks for me, sister.

Briee, your explanation of why we we're not speaking to Adri brought a tear to my eye as it reminded me of all the injustices non-chinners like myself have to bear. On more than one occasion I was not let into a restaurant because I couldn't do a chin-up. At school, classes were divided into groups of chinners and non-chinners, and we had separate water fountains. Non-chinners also had to sit in the back of the bus. I know you and Catherine were non-chinners yourselves at one point, so you can understand our pain. HB and Adri probably had bars hanging over their cribs. Hopefully our heartfelt posts will allow them to understand our plight and prevent them from perpetuating further injustices.

Soooooooosan- Wow it sounds like we're back into the mid 1900's. Like the whites and blacks, chnners, non-chinner, LOL. You guys are soo funny. You all always make me laugh when I check in:+ :+ ;)

Briee, I did muscle endurance abs tonight!!! I was careful with my back and leg. Seems to be doing better **crosses fingers** I may try to do some light wts in the next day or so.

Soooooooooooosan, glad to hear you're not gonna X it till you are better.

Sooooooooooooosan....I loved your post ROTFLOL ROTFLOL (Okay well I WOULD have been if NOT for the fact that this is such a serious subject as you so articulately pointed out:7 :7 ).

Catherine.....I skipped the abskipper...thus the name and it's 10:00 pm and I haven't worked out yet, but now you mentioned ME and I haven't done that in ages and I'm going down to do it! No it's not in my rotation, but it's a leg day and it has legs and it's always an ab day and it has abs!!! Thanks for getting me motivated for ANYTHING today!!

Can I count this as substitution for the ARX? (the only answer is yes - so answer wisely) I happened to read a portion of those hardcore checkeriners and someone said that abripper x is so easy she has to add weights, etc. I'm thinking we're not half as tough as we think we are over here in chinland!x( (and I DO think we're tough...... and very balanced I might add (ie donuts)!!)

I was actually a non-exerciser until I was in my late 30's, unless you count my years with Jack LaLanne in the mid-70's. There was nothing out there until Jane Fonda opened the world to home exercising whenever she came on the scene. I wanted to play sports in school, but that was before the Title 9 days. I'm a late bloomer and have been trying to make up for lost time ever since! The only females in my family who exercise are me and my cousin in Florida, age 51, who also does pull-ups and pushups!

Briee, I can't believe you can work out at 10pm! I wish I had your stamina. Must be all the donuts. I'm in bed reading by 9:00.

HB, very interesting that you didn't start working out till you were in your 30's. And just look at you now - chinning and pushing away, teaching classes and training clients, and motivating chinners and non-chinners alike in this check-in (as well as the whole forum). You're really something else!:)
 
I'm just waving a forlorn non-chinning wave to my gals here. I'm still reading your posts and think you are awesome specimens of strong womanhood. Keep it up!

Sooosan, you could be on to something about the donuts and working out late. I had donuts this week and have done my workouts about 9:30-11PM all week (due to current circumstances). WOW, Briee, I'm excited to be in your late-night w/o club. (But I really want to move it back to afternoons).

I think next week I'm going to try to kick the w/o's back into high gear and by the end of the week attempt chin negatives again. Wish me strength...and determination...and anything else you think will help.

Had a GREAT day at school (amazing!!) I saw all my friends and have almost all my classes w/ most of them:D Tomorrow is our full day and so on. Normal half days are just 8-12. Today was just to meet our teachers, tour our other classes, get our lockers & combos, and get all the paperwrok for our parents.

Soooooosan- stay AWAY from the evil donuts}( }( I hear donuts like our hips:+ LOL

Melody- Go for it girl!! You can do it. Kick it up a notch (or 2:+) your great!! All of you are! Good luck:D

Oh, Melody, it's so great to hear from you! Are you getting any sleep these days? I don't know how you're mustering up the energy to work out (and late at night!) with all your family's going through. You really do amaze me. I can just picture you and Briee working out late at night together, taking bites of donuts and sipping coffee between sets...:) :p

Hi Sooooooooooooosan! I'm liking the donut/coffee w/o, except I drink hot tea. Last night was my first ATTEMPTED full night's sleep in my own bed. It seems Wil is back to his usual method of sleep, which is never lying still, and he kept tossing and turning and I kept hearing his casts hit the floor with loud THUDS! DH and I spent the night taking turns putting him back into bed. I may have to switch back to strong coffee soon. OOPS, Wil needs assistance so I'm off for now.

Edits: I felt like I just ran out on youse guys! But Wil can't get to the bathroom alone...I am getting a total body weight w/o daily with lifting the dude (I am now happy that he's skinny).

Anyway, I've managed a w/o everyday Sat - Weds alternating cardio and weights. Last night I did the PUB/PLB bonus mix which was a nice total body w/o. It uses the PUB up and PLB up alternating between a couple of LB and then a couple of UB sets. I had never done that one before.

Time to stop babbling. Keep chinning and posting everyone.
