Cathlete
Morning, cheetahs :) :) :)

Lorie © I think it is likely the cardio elevating your calorie burn, not the time of day…IA about the high step w/outs being most suitable for the Bosu.

Lori © *lol* I did wake up around 1 am but was able to fall asleep again fairly quickly. Hey, I’m not kidding about needing my sleep. If I have a string of < 7 hour nights, it hits me HARD. If I had your work schedule, I would be a zombie! Hats off to you for doing all you do. Work, work out like a beast, and take care of a family! *lol* about the wings. How do you turn down WINGS?? (I think you can you see where my problem lies, eh?)

Carole © Oh boy, I had to go and post on that thread again. DOH!

Jackie © What a good idea to break up YogaX into three 30-min segments. Enjoy the gorgeous weather! We are back to winter here.

Christine © Glad you had fun at the post-conference festitivites…dancin’ in 3-inch heels, wedges or not--now THAT’S a workout!…Glad you are reaping the compliments for all your hard work…I did NOT know that about “fanny” - *lol*. It’s a word I detest for some reason, anyway. As in, the Fanny Lifter—ugh. Hmm, interesting thoughts about cardio before or after weights. Years ago, I always lifted post-run and liked it that way but within the past year, I switched to weights first before cardio. I think I will start wearing my HRM more often to track my patterns—but without getting obsessive. (Point duly noted, Shelly!)…So, is Jimmy back to his ol self? Hope so!…thanks for the review of K’bell Goddess. I do have to chuckle at the title. Sometimes I wonder what they are thinking…

Shelly © WTG finishing your taxes. I think I’m going to get myself that TurboTax. I don’t want to use H&R Block again. Had some trouble with it last year…Sorry you won’t be able to join your friend for the HM.

Sunny © Congrats on the great response to your butts & guts class! You’re really enjoying puttin’ a hurtin’ on people, aren’t you? :7 I think I missed the drills iTread. Will have to go check it out as I have two more downloads for this month. BTW, what happens if you don’t use them? Do you lose ‘em? Don’t be sorry at all re: CK/CM. I now know you well enough to know if *you* don’t like a workout, I probably won’t, either.

Dallas © Off by 100? Too funny. Sounds like a great w/out…My foster girl is back in school but not with the foster family…hopefully, she will get local placement. The most recent one was not a good one…very strait-laced, white-bred family trying to press the Bible on this kid…snooping through her things, etc. This weekend I’m on a mission to get her a locking diary – I hope they still make those. I remember my sister used to have one. Anyway, she has been bounced around so many times, poor thing…my heart is heavy for this kid …but I’ll tell you what, she is STRONG…well, you know, I’m sure you have seen it many times…I did the Classic X rotation…Yeah, I would sell CM…love Cathe, but it’s not for me.

Wendy © thanks for the X+ info you shared with Jackie…good to know. I haven’t done TB+ yet…The allergy tests stem from the migraine investigation, which is all the doings of the chiro. She knows I have sinus issues (somehow she can feel it when she touches my face—I have no idea how she does this) and recommended that I see an ENT in addition to the neuro. I did—he ordered the allergy tests and I just have been putting it off. I thought I *might* have some environmental allergens (only dust came up +), but I never thought I’d have food allergies -- oats, crab (sob!), tuna (which I don’t like), and codfish (which I’ve never tried). I don’t eat crab all that often, so it’s not a big deal, I will still enjoy it. But oats, I eat often – I *love* oatmeal and cereal and whole wheat bread and my Kashi GoLean waffles. Basically, I eat the stuff all day long. But I have to say, my head feels a whole lot better being off it for 36 hours. Once I add it back into my diet, I guess I’ll see if it truly is an allergen for me…So, what are the plans for tonight?

I believe I am caught up, and so now it is confession time:
I took ANOTHER rest day yesterday. I worked late and was zapped. Not happy about it but not dwelling on it. Today will be LL, 4DS B&B, and an EXT session. Later, I have my 90-minute massage scheduled.

I am supposed to have class this morning, but I decided it's better for me NOT to go. I've actually been dreading and stressing over it all week b/c I know it will just make me feel like the NB is impossible and I am too far behind. I think I'm better off hunkering down and doing as much as I can this weekend.

Good Morning Cheetahs.

I am up early this morning because of DH having to work O/T. I had a dream that freaked me out and then DH's alarm started going off and that was all she wrote for me! Oh well. Today is my rest day so I can nap when DS naps if I want to. ;)

Cathy: It'll be interesting to see what happens when you put oats back in your diet. If they are the culprit will you really eliminate them completely or just eat them with disgression? Sorry your NB class is stressing you so much. It's not a requirement though so I don't blame you for not going if it only seems to be increasing the tension involved in prepraring for this cert.
OMG girl I wish you didn't live so far away cause I would invite you to come with me tonight! It's gonna be a crack up! I am going to one of those "F}(erwear" parties at my SIL's tonight! :7 :7 :7

Well, I was last to post last night so I'm all caught up. I'll be back in a bit to see who's awake. :7

Hello all,

cathy- I agree with your decision if it has a high dread factor skip it:7 no need to feel bad about taking a rest day, it does your body good! what another crazy dream?? sorry, i hate when that happens and you can't fall back asleep. i am lovin' putting a hurtin' on people, lol. one of my clients told me "i can see you really love your job". not sure re: your itrain question, i just do a la carte.

wendy- oh what the heck go on ahead and get the kettlebells:p . you know you want to. hey you can always justify (as i often do) it will help to increase your knowledge and therefore your marketing capabilities as a PT!! right now KB's are the all the rage (people are looking for something different) and once you decide to go into the gyms to train the more you know the more clients you will attract and keep. plus they are just so gosh darn fun}( :p :+ :7 i was able to sync drills onto my old ipod so it's on tap for tomorrow! so far i am lovin' X+. just can't go wrong with Tony H.

my butts and gutts class was a huge hit yesterday! my mgr. sent me an email and said he got alot of rave reviews. YES!!!

ok, now for today's workout. i am going to do IC vol #2 (love that one!) and afterwards kenpo X+.
ciao:7

Sunny: LOL you are too much girl! I just promised Cathy that I would NOT buy the KB's right now and here you go enabling me all over again!:7 :7 :7

Cathy: I have the yearly plan and no, you won't lose it if you don't use it. They just roll over for use for the next month. I've never had to worry about this, LOL, but Gayle has and they were there for her for the next month's use!

Wendy © I have been to one of those before, and you're right - it is a scream. Have fun!...I don't plan to eliminate oats altogether, but if I find it does trigger my sinuses, then I will probably cut back as needed.

Sunny © LMBO at your client's comment. That is AWESOME about the glowing reviews!!

Good morning to all in the Cheetah den!

I only have a couple of minutes before I have to head out to work but I *needed* to pop in here and get my Cheetah fix :).

The last couple of days were NOT good (other than a stellar night at bowling...woohoo!). I followed the pharmacy's directions for taking the Relafen that was prescribed for my foot (which made it feel fantabulous, BTW!) but that resulted in an overdose! As a result, I spent ALL of Thurs night/Fri morning puking and $#!^%# (just use your imagination...YUCK!!!!) my brains out, heart palpatations, shakes, dizzy, you name it I had it. I finally ended up getting about an hour of sleep before I had to go to work yesterday so it was definitely a less than stellar day for me yesterday and I crashed *very early* last night.

I was able to get some good zzzzzzzzzzs last night though and managed to get in KPC/L&G Kickbox and Strength Circuit (modifying any high impact stuff) this morning. What a sneaky little workout! It looked pretty easy on paper but ended up being a bit of a sweatfest, although maybe that's because I still don't feel quite 100%...who knows?

I will be back tonight for personals...I PROMISE!!!!!!!!!!! Have a great day everyone!

Hey Cheetahs!

This Cheetah had to be MIA for a day or two, but I see the crack thread is still hanging on. :p DS is better, the furniture arranging had to be compromised, but it is OK now. Then, I pulled a "Christine" and had a bit of a shopping spree. For DVD's I settled on CIA2604 and Core Synergy. Then the fun began with a trip to Ann Taylor, Victoria Secret, a new skin care regimen and some online shopping. DH then surprised me with a spa certificate for an 80 minute massage for Valentines day! I had a bit of guilt for being so selfish and then having him spoil me, but he is OK with it.

Ok sorry to be so self centered.

Cathy- I am surprised at an allergy to oats. Will you try them again in to see if there is a noticeable difference? IA about not going to class if it is more stressful. I missed the info about the girl in foster care, but I hope you can continue to be a good influence/ mentor for her.

Sunny- so you stole the 'enabler crown' . I am holding out on them. But Christine is the one who enabled me to have a shopping spree!

Wendy- Sorry about waking up earlier than you planned. What is this event you are going to???

Wendi- I am sorry the relafen made you so sick! What else did the doc cay about your symptoms? (I may have missed your last post)

Christine- thanks for the push to shop! ... I did iMax2 (1-5 only) on the bosu and although I liked it, I really had to pay attention with the step segments. I will definitely do it again.... PS is DD still loving guitar hero?! I had to mail DS#1 his Guitar Hero 3 game, because he left it home by accident! Of course the kids here didn't want me to!

Well ladies, I am going to finish my coffee, check out the iTreads for this month, and hope to get in 6 miles outside. I have not been outside in a few weeks!

Shelly- You must be glad to have those taxes done! We are no where near done. Could you just be a race bandit and run along side your friend anyway? Or is that taboo?

Lorie- I read of few of you posts about working out times and and your observations with times of day and weights before cardio and such. It is all very thought provoking, especially that article about am/pm and eating or not before. (I know this was a week or so ago, but I am just getting to it)

Good morning cheetahs

Cathy...I think rest is always good when you are beat. I bet the massage is just what you need right now. I think you are smart for not going to the class if you are dreading it. I bet you will get a lot of work done this weekend...:)

Wendy...you make me want to pull out Core Syn. Sorry about the freaky dream and alarm getting you up...A nap later will be nice...

Judy...sounds like a fun shopping spree. Nothing wrong with spoiling yourself sometimes.

Jackie..yes, it always feels good to unclutter! Good job with P90X L&B and the unassisted pull-ups.

Christine...a little wine and dancing sounds fun!! Thanks for the PM. I get those "outdated" shoes too. They are always great and I love the price!! Did you get in a run with Jimmy? Good job in the kettlebell workout.

Shelly..I will have to get my Turbotax soon! Sorry about the half marathon mix-up...:(. Good job with the 4DS workout and yoga yesterday.

Sunny..sounds like you teach a killer Butts & Guts class..:)..That was great your manager sent you that email!! Enjoy your workout today.

Wendi...I am so sorry about the meds making you sick. There is nothing worse IMO. I HATE to puke. Did they get the meds straightened out for you? Glad you got in some needed rest. I am amazed you could get thru that workout! You are tough...:)

Dallas..way to go on the stairs. I did stair workouts when I was in college. Tough and fun. Yes, it seems some on this forum are either too sensitive or too fast to throw barbs...I agree about this world...sometimes just watching the news can be scary.

I decided to do about a 6 week freestyle rotation on my lower body. So I did 4 leg exercises yesterday doing 4 sets of 20 reps. I can feel my glutes today...:)

I also had a big break in my work day yesterday and went to the show with my sister and some friends. We saw "Fool's Gold". It was a cute movie, Matthew is quite easy on the eyes....http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/y/eyelove.gif[/img]

Today I am hoping to get in yoga and pilates.

Have a great day...

Good morning!

Cathy – My sis is doing very well after her surgery! Thanks for asking! The doctor said he was shocked at how severe the endometriosis and endometreoma was. She also had fibroids. Anyway….there was no cancer and she is going to be okay! Thank God! You deserve another rest day! To tell the truth…I am hurting so much (probably from sitting all day and eve at the hosp day before yesterday) that I can barely move. I didn’t do anything yesterday. Don’t work too hard! I LOVE the sounds of your planned workout today!

Wendy – Enjoy your rest day!

Sunny – LOL…it sounds like your class will be limping today! (in a good way!!!) do you like KenpoX+? I have previewed it…but never done it. What is IC Vol 2? Sorry…I don’t mean to sound so clueless ;>) I wish I had you to train me with my kettlebells! Then..”maybe” I wouldn’t be so afraid of them! I can’t wait to get Amy’s new KB workout! Maybe I will click better with that than trying the IronCore way ones that I have.

Wendi – Oh my gosh! That sounds very scary! How did it cause an overdose? Had they given you something else beforehand? Bless your heart! Hey…contrats on the great bowling!

Judy – Wow! Your shopping spree sounds great! Ann Taylor is my favorite store! What kind of Skincare regimen did you get? That sounds wonderful!!

Carole – I would love to see that movie! Glad you liked it! Oooo…what are you going to do for your Freestyle? Do you go by the book…or are you going to use DVD’s? I have been thinking I need to start again. Enjoy your yoga and pilates!

Today I don’t know what I will do. It will have to include lower body, though. I have only done some floorwork and NYC that included any type of lower body work this week. Oh well….

I will BBL…

Hi to everyone that checks in later or that I may have missed!

Linda

Good Morning Ladies!

I have some kind of circuit workout on my list today. Either LIC on the BOSU or ASCII Circuit 2. The run yesterday was a great time! The route I picked is 3 miles – none of it flat. It starts off with a good ½ mile climb, which I use as a warm up, then it dips into a valley and it’s down hill for a mile which is SOOO fun! Then you have a mile climb, then its back down hill for the finish. I did have to take a few walk breaks on the climb, but not as many as I thought I would. Today we have a 50th surprise party for a friend which is fine but it’s from noon to six! I’m not going to be able to so my usual Saturday errands. What a weird time. Oh well, it’s an important occasion, so we’ll go.

Cathy – love your little hearts! I have to wonder what the Brits think of the whole “fanny lifter” thing. Must be interesting. It’s really funny on the KB Goddess – you really do have to wonder as none of the woman are over-the-top attractive. They are not ugly, but DH doesn’t stop and watch them for a moment the way he does Cathy and Amy. :p And do not worry about your rest day – you’re BUSY and need to focus on work. When you need a run, you’ll fit one in.

Wendy – it IS nice when everything is that simple. Glad I’m registered under you now so I can order on whim! :p Sorry about your bad dream and DH’s alarm! I think you need Kettlebells. :+ Yeah, Core Syn is always good for a butt whomping! That party sounds like a blast!

Sunny – Oh YAY!!! On your Butts and Guts class!! I’m so happy to hear that! Enjoy your iCycle and Kenpo X+. I’ve decided I want to get one lighter kb (an 8 pounder probably) to work on Turkish get ups, etc. And two 20 pounders. Then I’ll get one bigger one. Ambitious, aren’t I? :p

Wendi – Oh man, I’m sooo sorry about the OD on the Relafen! How horrible! I hope today goes better! {{{HUGS}}}

Judy – Sounds like you may have out done both me AND Posh! Wow! I’m impressed!! And VERY nice of DH to get you a gift certificate for an 80 minute massage! Hey, I’m happy to push any time! Makes a girl feel special every now and again! DD15 is enjoying guitar hero. She plays it every day instead of watching tv which is fine with me!

Carole – I can’t see the point in spending $100 on a pair of shoes that will last me about six months. And when I’m running, I don’t really care if my shoes are the latest and greatest! Sounds like you had fun yesterday! Love those breaks!

Linda – I’m glad to hear that sis is doing well and that she’s cancer free!

Jackie – the funny thing is that I’m 5’10 and I enjoy wearing heels. I usually don’t go above 2” but some of the shoes out now are so cute (and I’m a shoe whore :+). I’ve been avoiding the 4” ones, but my are they cute! Hope the cleaning and Wally World visit went well!

Well, I need to put the list for groceries together. I have the ingredients for dinner tonight, but I would like to get it all done today. Have a great day ladies!

Good morning cheetahs! I hope everyone's weekend is off to a good start. Today is the last day of my stretch off but I feel good that I accomplished most of what I intended:)

Christine- Wow, that's a long party! What a nice surprise for your friend too! It'll be something she'll remember and cherish forever.
Sounds like you had a great trail run yesterday. My turn today!

Cathy- Definitely give Turbotax a try this year. I've been a fan of it for years but they've improved it even more. It's quite idiotproof
(perfect for me;-) ) You are going to need that massage after your workout today!! Glad you aren't beating yourself up over taking an unintended rest day. I'd say with the week you've had it was more than justified.

Wendy- Hope you're having a fun and restful day. What really inspired me to finally get on board and go to your web site to order the TJs was with my workout yesterday. I broke yet another band!!
I noticed that one of the packages came with one and I thought... perfect!!!

SunnyD- That's awesome that your Butts & Guts class is such a hit
:7 :7 :7 :7 LOL about lovin to hurt people;-) I guess I do the same in my job.... but it's definitely not a good kind of hurt!!
It does has its rewards though.

Wendi- OMG, talk about an adverse drug reaction!!  You poor cheetah! You are way due for some good things to happen I'd say!!
I'm amazed you could crank out the KPC/LG workout today. Sending you a huge {{{{{{{{{cheetah HUG}}}}}}}}}}

Judy- Never occured to me to run the race as a bandit. I could never do that though, I'm one of those prudish people who consider it stealing. I guess there's several schools of thought on that and it is a tad controversial. Sounds like you had a great shopping spree!!! FUN FUN. Hope you enjoy your outdoor run today.

Carole - Have a great yoga workout today. How nice that you got in a fun movie break yesterday!!

Linda- Great to hear from ya and I'm glad your sis is okay. I do feel sorry for family members of patients who have spent the whole day waiting.... I see it all the time and sometimes I'm afraid for them driving home... they look so exhausted! Hope you get in a good cathartic workout.

Time to get my butt unglued from the chair. I'm heading out for a 15 mile trail run. This afternoon I promised DH I'd go to a gun show with him.

tata

hi everyone!

i am here quite late this morning. i actually met some friends at a place right near my house last night (literally about a mile and a half away) and we had fun hanging out. no, no wine last night!!! i have been there before, but not on a weekend night. it was pretty happennin'! lots of cute boys to look at! ;-)

i didn't get in really late and i woke up at 7 and decided i would just shut my eyes for a bit more. next time i saw the clock, it was NINE FIFTEEN! i am in a lazy mood today. i am not sure what my w/o will be. i had planned on legs and some cardio but right now, i am feelin pretty lazy. also, I GET MY YOGA DVD'S TODAY according to the shipping notice. so, i know i want to do my new eoin (i better get them, i've been waiting ALL week!). anyway, i've been hitting it pretty hard the past couple of weeks, so if yoga is all i do, that's fine, too!

can you believe i have been lying around watching tv and playing around on the computer?!

anyway, i am waiting to see if i am going to brunch/lunch with my best friend, her hubby, and my 2 year old "niece" (she's just like a niece to me), so i will bb for personals lata. kishies! http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_4_109.gif

Good morning Cheetahs!

Wendy - Hope you're enjoying your rest day. Sorry about the strange dream. Are your plans still on for tonight? Good luck.

Cathy - Just looked at your new avatar. You are beautiful and I just love your hair. You never lose your credits with iTrain. If you don't do a lot of the other workouts, it might be hard to use them all. I like your attitude about your workouts and NB. You're just being wise young lady. Enjoy that massage and let your mind go.

Sunny - Great logic with getting the KB workouts. Glad to hear your B&G class was a success. When do you teach it again?

Wendi - So sorry the script made you sick. Sounds like the rest was well deserved. Glad you felt better and was able to get a workout in.

Judy - Glad DS is feeling better. What a shopping spree. I think you deserve everything even the massage. Nothing wrong with a little self-indulgence every now and then.

Carole - Were you ready for a change with the Freestyle rotation. Glad you enjoyed the movie. Wish I could get DBF to go see it. Enjoy your yoga and pilates day.

Linda - Glad to hear your sis surgery went well. I think she will feel 100% better. I know I do. I've had more energy since mine. What workout did you decide to do. Hope it was fun.

Christine - Glad you and Jimmy had a good run yesterday. That is a weird time for a party but hope it's a great day for the BD person. I like the sale prices on the workout shoes too. That's why I do a lot of on line shopping to see what's out there. IA that the 3" shoes are so cute. I can give Imelda Marco a run for her shoes. I have them every where. While I was in Wally World yesterday, a lady picked up a pack of Coke and the end was loose on it. When they hit the floor, Coke was all over everything including my butt. I happened to be squatting to pick up another item and got sprayed. All she could do was apologize. I did get the grocery shopping done.

Shelly - Your off days go by so fast. Hope work goes smoothly when you get back. Love having an accountant as a DBF. It takes all the hassle of doing taxes for me. All I have to give him is a little kiss. Actually, I will take him out to dinner to show my appreciation. Enjoy your run.

Lorie - Glad you had a nice time with friends last night. It's nice not to have to drive too far. Nothing wrong with having a lazy day. I copied Christine and I'm still sitting around after my workout.

I did iTread #26 30 minutes. I played with the runners today after the initial warm up and got in 3.5 miles. Then I decided to do iTread #10 20 minutes and added another 2.5 miles. I'm feeling my glutes from yesterday. I did portions of Stretch X. Like his stretches for the hamstring.

I must get in the shower. Enjoy your Saturday ladies!

Jackie

Jackie - Thanks! I am sure she will feel much, much better, too! How long before you started feeling "recovered"? Wow! That was a great run you had! I ended up doing Kelly's new Stepbox and GS standing legs. It was a lot of fun!Just what I needed!

Lorie - Enjoy your new DVD's! Hope they do come so you can try it! Have fun if you go to lunch with your friends and "niece"! :7

Shelly - Enjoy your 15 mile trail run! That sounds great! Enjoy the gun show! I agree...the stress seems to really show on the family memeber's faces, doesn't it? Yes...the workout was "very" cathartic for me! Hey! I just noticed you ordered some TJ's! Which ones did you order?? They are fun! :7

Christine - Enjoy whichever circuit you decide to do! Great job on the run yesterday! That sounds wonderful. I need to get my butt outside and run...but I haven't :-( Wow!!! That is one long party! Enjoy it!

Today I did Kelly's new Stepboxing and Cathe's GS standing legs. (I know I already said that in reply to some posts, already:+ But....anyway..

I hope you guys are having a wonderful weekend!

back to report on my w/o. i did iTread 27 drills. i'm not sure i really liked it all that much. i was able to do the 6.0 run up the 10% hill but i didn't even change it to 12% when she said. anyway, there was a lot of walking and i only managed to get in 4 miles. it's okay, i'm just not crazy about it. i am more of a sprint person so i LOVE all the iTread sprint and interval ones. still, i can see hte benefits of this one and will continue to use it. then, i did the overall legs premix of b&g. when it said do all that kneeling glute work AGAIN, i decided not to (it starts to hurt my supporting knee) and did firewalkers and an extra set of sit and stands. i am sure my legs will be sore tomorrow!!!

anyway, i am positively famished because i can never eat before i work out and it is 2 PM. gotta go get something to eat before i pass out. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_4_17.gif

Well, I decided NOT to do a circuit rotation this week and broke out Slo Mo Back and Shoulders, Kettlebell Goddess abs and core (ouch!) and KBX for about 20 minutes. It was fun, but I’m beat. Now it’s off to the showers, but I wanted to do quick personals first!

Shelly - How’d your run go? I’m so sorry it wasn’t a half today but 15 is good too! *winks* Hope it was as fun as mine! Enjoy the gun show.

Lorie – I think you deserve a quiet restful day today! I hope you get Eoin! Is this the new one? I should order that, too! Hope your brunch/lunch was fun! Okay, I think you get the star for Sporty Cheetah – I would NEVER THINK of adding another set of sit and stands to anything! :+

Jackie – Oh man! So sorry you got attacked by run away cokes! I know she didn’t try it, but wow, what a pain! Did you have to clean your car afterwards too? That stuff is sooo sticky! I’m glad you got the groceries done! I like Stretch X, too – I pull it out often! Sounds like a great workout!

Linda – we’ve had rain for about 4 weeks straight on the weekends. It’s so nice to have temps in the high 60’s and sun! We’d have gone for a hike today, but the party didn’t leave enough time. Tomorrow! :p Hope you get outside to run soon! I have a 3 mile street run on my rotation on Tuesday. I’ll come home over lunch and run Jimmy.

Gotta run and get ready! Adios mes amigas!

wendy- hey, i am just saying..if you needed a reason:7

cathy- lol. you are hilarious!!:7 i thought about you today because i had to go into the big gym where i gave up training but have decided to teach a class there to keep my gym membership (as though i needed it. but it's so close to home for when i need to use the tm on the weekends) anyway, they took my picture to put up on the instructor wall and i was soooooooo happy the accutane has my face looking so much better!!!!!!

judy- doesn't matter who enabled you as long as you enjoyed your shopping spree!!

jackie, lol. i try my best when it comes to reasoning. i teach that class every friday so it will work out well with my current rotation.

carole- yoga and pilates??!! how fun, are you doing your own thing or using a dvd?

lorie- sorry you were disappointed by drills. i am planning on checking it out tomorrow.

linda- IC is iron core and i did vol #2 today. give it a try they are definitely not scary:)

christine- so you would recommend the goddess workout? i am leaning towards a steve cotter one that is getting rave reviews at vf.

shelly- so how was your run today? sorry you didn't get to participate with your nurse buddy. your job definitely has it's rewards and you are just so good!

so my workout is done and i am already feeling some tingly in my shoulders. i went up in weights during my kb workout today!! at first i didn't think i was going to like kenpoX+ just because i didn't like the first one. man was i wrong. this is just how i like my kickboxing workouts. in addition to getting a good cardio workout i really like to work my muscles during kickboxing and you definitely felt this one!!

Hi Cheetahs!

I'm back from my shopping spree...about $130.00 poorer then I was when I left but I got lots of stuff!:7 }( :7

I RESISTED THE CALL OF THE KETTLEBELLS! I saw them, I swung around a 15# and a 10#. I read the box. I put them down and I WALKED AWAY! I made myself proud today!:p

However I DID buy the gliding discs set that they sell. It's the same thing as Mindy's discs which I'd been eyeing on line for months and months but these particular ones are made by someone different. I couldn't resist considering A) I went down that aisle for the elusive 6# med ball with no luck B) I resisted the kettlebells so I deserved to buy SOMETHING for that, right? ;) C) I already own a few vids that these can be used in including the upcoming STS series! D) I had been holding out for ages for these and well, I just couldn't wait any longer!:7

I also bought a napkin holder, a set of 4 martini glasses :9 , a pair of black trouser/dress pants (thanks for the tip Cathy!:)), 2 tops, a pkg of socks that I desperately needed and a set of Thomas the Train tracks for my munchkin that were on sale for CHEAP!!!

After Target (we spent a loooong time in there! LOL) we went right across the street to the mall and had lunch at Chammp's. I had a turkey wrap that I am SURE was waaaay more fattening and higher in cals then any turkey wrap I'VE ever made myself }( and then I did it. I FINALLY stopped being a weenie and GOT MY EARS PIERCED! When it was over I felt like a jerk for making such a big deal out of it. Honestly, I barely felt it. The left one hurt a leetle but the right was like nothing!!!:)

There ya have it...my day so far in a nut shell! I'll be back before I head out for the night to do personals!

BBIAB!:+

Ok, I'm back. DH is watching a movie and DS is playing with his trains and new track set. Perfect time for personals. I have to start getting ready to go soon so it's now or never anyway!:7

Wendi: I'm so sorry you had issues with taking the Relafen! Be careful! That stuff is no joke! I have a prescription for the generic version of that for when the arthritis in my neck flares up. It came with TWO PAGES of warnings!!!!   No worries about the lack of personals. We know the long long hours you keep and how incredibly hard you work, hon. You never need to apologize.

Judy: The party I am going to is a party like those for Pampered Chef, Partylite and the like only it's for things like lingerie and s*x toys, etc. It is lovingly referred to as a F**Kerwear party in less "proper" circles. }( ;) :7 I've heard about them for years but this will be the first I've ever attended. I'm kind of askeered!:7

Carole: Enjoy your freestyle rotation. I remember doing a loose version of freestyle. I liked the results but was not a fan of the extra time it took. If I could get into AM/PM work outs that would work better for me but I don't know about that one either! LOL

Linda: Glad to hear your sister is doing well! She will be in my thoughts until she is 100%!

Christine: Could you imagine all of the Cheetahs at a party like the one I am going to tonight!? OMG, would that be a hoot or what!? :7 Yes, now you can order your X+ and/or TJ's on a whim! YAY!:)

Shelly: I like that alot of the BB products come with the equipment that you need. If you need it, it makes it really easy and if you don't, well hey, having a back up never hurt, right? ;)

Lorie: Sorry you were a bit disappointed with the Itread Drills work out. I was too until I hit those hills tbh!}( I'll probably have my share of drinks tonight at the party so I'll make up for the wine you didn't drink last night! LOL

Jackie: Yes, DH actually got home EARLIER then planned so I'm good to go for tonight! :)Great job using the runners numbers on ITread 26! That one is a butt-whooper for sure!!!!

Sunny: I managed to resist the KB's as you already know if you read my first post. :p They will surely stay in the back of my mind as one of the first things I purchase when the X+ rotation is about to end though!!!}(

Okay, I think I'm caught up...hafta jump in the shower now!

I probably won't be back tonight so I'll talk everyone in the morning!:)
