Hey Sekcy Cheetahs!!!!
Little Cheetah checkin in!!! Track was canceled today cuz of puddles on the track. We couldn't practice inside like we normally do cuz boys basketball had practice. x( O well I guess moe time for gym:D:D Today is shoulders and abs. Since there was no practice today I'm ganna do the half hour Kickbox Advance class at the gym. I love that class:) Also, I'm ganna get some pics of me this weekend almost for sure! Last weekened was kinda hard cuz f the first week of school and everything goin on. We're even gettin ready to move to a real house!!! We have to be outa here by the after next!! At least I'll be at school}:)+ LOL!

Ok some personals to my sekcy cheetahs;-):

Barb, Susan, Christine, ShellyC- Thanks for all your good vibes for my history quiz today. I did great!!! YYAYAYAYAY I gota 70!!! Go me:+...Yea taht is a c-. I woulda had a 90 but at the last minute I changed 2 of my answers cuz I thought they were wrong (when they were acually right x() hate this ####!!}( O well.

Jess- You go girl!!! good luck on sept 24! I'll be thinkin boutcha cheetah;-) Go get em!! I hope going back to college works well for yea! I bet your a really smart cheetah and don't to go back to school:)

Cathy- Enjoy your rest day cheetah!!!!! O by the way I love the Ali McGraw yoga workout you sent me! Its so nice and some new poses that I like! Thanks so much cheetah! I think I have it in my rotation for tomorrow too:)

Carol- Thanks for the link! I wrote it down so I can check it out alittle later. After I do a few more posts I gatta do some English homework and sutdy for a mini science quiz tomorrow. But I DEFINALTEY wanna check it out. I hear a lot of ppl talkin about it in other forums too. Thanks so much cheetah:)

Susan- I don't really HATE history (I accually hate science and french yuck x() its just I'm never good at taking quizzes and tests. I just don't like the pressure..LOL:+ Thanks for your good vibes!

Karen- Hey girl! Glad to see you post! I hope you continue to post here. Hope all your runs go good:)

Colleen- Sending you some of my (((((ENERGY))))) to make ya feel better cheeah:) Hope you continue to get better! Love yea:*

Judy- Keep up your great runnin cheeah!!! You doin great!

Wendy- Wow that was great what you said to your mother. You told her to just do her best if she finishes or not. Great attitude cheetah:)

I'm here quickly just to say that the hill repeats tonight were FUN!}( Granted it was a very mild hill but it was a great work out! I really enjoyed it!:)

Karen-- welcome, we were posting around the same time and I didnt' see your post until now. good luck getting into running. You are welcome here and will get lots of good info! Check out all the sites on Runners World for beginning runners. There's a lot of good info there. I love the magazine and the website.

Colleen-- glad you're feeling better. The play sounds fun. It's nice for your son that you're a room parent. Congrats on the decision to do a 10K! You go girl!

Christine--great news that you'll likely get the job offer. I thought you already had it! Great workouts today. P90x shoulders & arms is hard, hard, IMO.

Judy -- I like BC/ME bonus combo too, but haven't done it in awhile. Thanks for the reminder. Good for you that you are doing your hip/PT stretching & exercises. It's a lot to keep up with.

Wendy-- Tell your mom I said this: "Go, Mom! Go Mom! you can do it!" You are a lucky Cheetah to have a mom willing to try. She sounds great! I hope you and Cathy get to run together.

Shelly- glad your groin, uh, I mean, adductor is better. I'm glad you could figure out a way to work around it. Good luck enduring the taper period. I'm totally impressed that you're going to do a 25-mile trail run. What kind of I-pod did you get?

Adri--good job on the quiz. It's always hard to know whether to go with your gut on those answers or change them....oh well!! At least you studied and tried your best.

Carole--my kid's swim coach gave a "mental training" talk tonight. I think he must of been a distant relative of Super Carole's giving the kids (and parents) some "pause" to evaluate their level of commitment and understanding working toward a goal. I truly would not be understanding what is going on with my kids' swimming/training had I not starting training for a half-marathon because of a friendly push/vote of confidence from YOU!:7

Shelly. After looking at Running Times, Cool Running and Runner's World, I liked the Hal Higdon sight the best. He seems to have a rotation that adds with Cathe as a cross training workout pretty well.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I wish I had the smarts to be a nurse! I admire all of you who work in health care. I couldn't get past statistics and all of the math. I bet you were also a darn good singer too.

Carole I remember reading something you wrote awhile back about Cathe's Imax's helping runners.

Late check-in for me tonight. Very busy day for mex(. Today I did Step Heat in the morning and strength training in the afternoon. Step Heat is old but very basic and fun. I liked it, it was just what I needed after the 10K on Saturday. Today, I finally feel better.

Susan~ I haven't signed up for anything yet but I see you have a 1/2 marathon for February that's great! I do hope to do a 1/2 next spring though:).
