Hello friends,
I am finally able to sit down for a moment and chat. I had a great massage and she said that my glutes are so much looser and so is my back. My pt sessions are really paying off. I am really looking forward to getting back to my cathe cardios and of course running.
I am loving my Cathe Calendar. I find it so motivating and I just love recording my workouts and inches.
Cathy, Enjoy those leg conditioning drills. I find those to be pretty tough. What is your running pace? Are you a fast cheetah?
Sunnydelite, WOW! You are extremely busy. I hope that you can quit your full time job and just enjoy training all of your new clients. When I was a trainer, I went out on my own and did not work for a gym. I would go to peoples houses. I made so much more money and I did it full time.
Judy, I have car expenses. My hubby just got his car worked on and it was $700, OUCH!
Wendy, sounds like you are loving the new workout rotation. 90 minutes of yoga sounds heavenly to me. Are you doing the power 90 yoga or another tape? Have fun at your step class! Also, I do the interval hills on the elliptical and it kick my butt and I burn a ton of calories.
Karen, what do you do for your crosstraining? I am now doing everything but running due to some sciatica issues. It is getting better though and I will be cheetah again soon
Christine, great job on your outdoor run! I don't know about running on a track though. I think I would go nuts going around in circles. So, you get to do Baron tomorrow, YAY!!!! I hope you enjoy it. Hey we have got to get together for Indian food. Let's figure out a date and a time.
Runnergirl, we have missed you around here. I hope that you feel better soon
Carole, how are your runs going? Do you ever have any twinges of pain or anything. You seem to be the most resilient and pain free cheetah. Hope you had a great run today.
Jess, I am sorry to hear about your twinges with the IT band. I just read a book about healing back pain and it said that after people get injured and want to start doing the thing that injured them that there is a lot of fear and that sometime just letting go of the fear and telling yourself that you are alright and kind of working through the twinges that you will find that you are okay. I am probably not explaining this very well, but he is saying that we get used to not doing something and the fear just takes over. Also, our minds tell us that it will hurt and then it does. It is a very good book and it really makes you think about the mind body connection that is so powerful. Sorry, I did not mean to go on and on.
Kristi, how fun to train for a half marathon. Great job with the weight workout. I also have some oldie but goodie workouts with Kelli roberts in them.
Well, ladies I am off to fix some tacos for the family and we still have some b-day cake left}(
have a great evening and I will see you all in the morning.
Btw, where it Elaine these days?
