Good morning to all the fab cheetahs
Had a great time yesterday with HLK and have definitely mastered all the moves! Love the knockout portions
The EXT portion in the afternoon really did me in so I nixed doing any upperbody work after supper and just read
Got alot done yesterday-- major decluttering!! I've also started packing the kitchen.. now it's really getting serious!!!
Wendy- Ah poor sweetie... what a yucky way to start out your day
crossing my fingers that you can get in a nice restorative nap.
Wendi- hey... if you run with other cheetahs that would definitely take care of the boredom factor! Okay... get your fingers out of your ears now and stop singing
I know you can hear me!
Ill bet your azaleas are pretty. I really look forward to gardening again once we are resettled. Here in the high desert of Az it is so difficult to grow anything!
Linda- Moving is most definitely one of the MAJOR pains of life!!!
One nice thing tho is that it has definitely given me the motivation for some major decluttering. I've even thrown out stuff we have toted with us on many moves. I'm being ruthless this time!!! I've always stuck with Hal Higdon for my training except once. I'll be curious to hear about the one your friend has.
Kath- How nice that the weather has gotten nice enough for you to get in a good trail run! I love running trails myself... much more interesting.... not to mention challenging! Sorry your DH is going thru a rough patch... hopefully things will smooth out soon
Gloria- Gone thru a few injuries myself and can understand your fear with the marathon training. Hey, do you have a back up marathon plan in case you don't get a slot in NYC? Don't blame you at all for sticking with the iTreads during the winter. I use them alot myself.... certified cold weather weenie here!
Carole- Nice circuit workout yesterday with the JS! Saw your post to Cathy yesterday re: perfed bowels.. it is actually not an uncommon medical emergency and since there is often a danger of sepsis they frequently land in the ICU so I'm quite familiar with it. The causes are multifactoral. frequently a ruptured diverticulum(a small "pouch" that develops in the intestine in some people), or
adhesions (scars from previous surgeries) or severe constipation even. I know.... too much information!!! LOL... can't help it!
Cathy- I think running as a cheetah pack in the B2B race would be a blast. Here's an example of a costume I found easily
http://www.costumesinc.com/p7964/Ch...ses-Tails-Accessories-Make-up-Categories.html. I guess tho that cheetahs don't really run in packs... oh well!
Jackie- The kitchen was actually the LAST room I really haven't tackled yet with packing and I still have 2 weeks til the big day so I'm well on schedule... pretty proud of myself for that! How is your move going?
Dallas- Awesome job on your run and GSL!!! Hey, when I GTG with cheetahs for any race I always just run with the "pack". The companionship and support is more important than trying for a PR!!
And I'm definitely slowing down anyway... I am 51 now!
I think that about catches me up now. Gotta get out there for a run.
I'll be heading round the "block" for a hilly 7-8 mile run. Later today I'm thinking I'll be doing LIC upperbody circuit.
