:::CHEETAHS:::THURSDAY:::

Hi Cheetahs!

I am not up to personals right now. We had a good day out tree planting today. It was nice to be in the woods. Thanks for all the well wishes. :) Enjoy your evening all!

Good Evening Girls!

Lots to catch up on but I think I am up to the task. DS is down for the night and DH is at bowling so it's just me, my cup of java and the dog. :7

Gloria: I'm sorry you had to go into work feeling horrid today. I hope you feel better soon. So perhaps you discussed this with Cathy already but I have a horrible habit of not reading all of the personals so forgive me if it's a redundant question but...Do you take summers off or do you work else where during summer vaca? Being a teacher never appealed to me outside of the thought of possibly being able to afford to have the summers off every year!:7

Kath: So did you have your girlie day with DD today? What color did you get your nails painted? :)

Wendi: Just keep me posted on the Sheehan race. The 5k I am doing is not the week before actually but the week AFTER. I have decided I will definately do the Sheehan if anyone else is going to join me. If I'll be a loner though I am going to bail. Don't feel pressure though as it's OKAY if I don't do it. I have plenty of running in my future with the 18 miler on the horizon! LOL A 200 average huh? You are very sweet my dear but um...that will NEVER happen!:p

Shelly: I look like a pretzel right now so I hope you get an answer on the job you want soon! This position I am in is really starting to hurt!;) :7

Judy: So what yummy produce did ya pick up today? :9

Carole: I'll have to make a mental note about the butter thing so if I ever go to CB again perhaps I can ask them to hold back a bit when they prepare my food. I love butter, don't get me wrong, but my goodness! :eek:

Jackie: You had me crackin' up at the marry/divorce comment about your house closing. I hope the rug cleaning was a success at the other house. Glad the shorter work outs are working for you. Enjoy them!

Christine: So how are the fires in the mountains above you? Are they under control yet? Are your friends all safe?

Cathy: I had serious doubts as to weather I would actually be able to withstand the temptation of the biscuits/muffins last night. I almost caved a few times! I can't believe I managed to pass them up myself! The Awaken the Body dvd is really called "Ho' Ala ke Kino" and Awaken the Body is the english translation. It's a Beach Body dvd and it's just you and Tony on a beach in Hawaii! Ooh La La!;) It's very inexpensive...like $10.00. Well worth it IMO. So how was Wii Fit? Do tell!!!!

Cathy and Christine: I noticed you were discussing the interval training descrepency between Alwyn and Craig. The way I see it is that there are several forms of interval training and they each chose the one that they like best. I will personally be mixing it up. I fully intend to utilize my Itread Sprints and Intervals as well as Imax 2, Interval X and even a BBC cardio or two while doing this program. }( Bottom line is that I believe that as long as you are doing interval training of SOME SORT, that you will get the results.

Oh the DOMS has really settled in now. I can really feel it alot more then earlier in the day. Tomorrow could be interesting...}(

I hit my cals and ratios on target today so I'm very pleased with that. I purchased Beach Body's vanilla meal replacement shake mix recently. I used it a couple of times so far and am very pleased with it. I am not usually one for that kind of stuff but I thought it might give me another low cal option for "snacking" and I was right. I was really hungry when I got home from training tonight. I didn't have that many calories to spare so I made the shake with some fat free milk and it actually satisfied me! I'm hard pressed to have a drink satisfy me like that. I'm impressed! :)

Good night ladies!:)
