***Cheetahs***Thursday in the Den***

Fly by post for me today. The girls and I were invited back to the Leni Lanape grounds we visited yesterday. We couldn't pass up such a great experience. We went in a replica hut, made our way around the trail and all kind of neat stuff. It was very educational and fun. I have an entire unit to use for school for a Thanksgiving study. Anyway now I'm off to soccer but stopped in to report. Did a 4 mile run today. Calf is still holding true.

Few quickies--

Christine- thanks for letting me know. i saw an Oprah show on the subject of question 2 and like you said the arguments were compelling on both accounts. I'm sure it was a tough call.

Shelly- Thanks for letting me know what you think. I value your opinion greatly and it does make me feel better knowing that you agree that it is not an easy process. Thanks so much for sharing. I really really really needed to hear that.

Linda- Sorry about dd again. I can't imagine how hard that is to see your child with a child go though that. Hugs and prayers coming your way.

Out the door to soccer. Tournaments this weekend. Hurray.
 
Dallas - hotels - well, my "condo" is there - I have room for 3 or 4 people - if people don't mind sharing beds. There is one bathroom, but we can work with that. I was thinking we should get another room at the Versace as well - and we could fit everyone there. We could all share the cost of the extra room so no one feels cheated or slighted.

Christine - Uh, wow, you put me to shame, girl:eek::eek:!!!! I stayed away from the LB work and you banged it out! Awesome! I will definitely be trying that one out *very* soon:D. I can't blame you for skipping 8...me no like that one either (or 5) but I don't mind 9...go figure:rolleyes:. Crossing my fingers for DH *and* his luggage.

Carole - Fabulous interval run yesterday...^^^5s! Didn't realize you continued with the Pain Free book. I guess it must really be doing it's job with the mileage you're logging!

Cathy - Ummmmm, did you have a day *off* today?!?!? I'm so glad you did...it sounds like you needed a bit of a breather. Hey, no raggin' on "Buttercup":p! I can't help but have a soft spot for it cuz it's my pony's name (I actually call her Bee cuz I really can't stand the name "Buttercup";)). Great idea to go with the vest for your workout...killer!

Judy - Yeah, I'd imagine your legs were quite fried:eek:! Great job on getting through the yoga. I can't believe you followed that up with sprints and hills today...wowzas! Hope you enjoyed your pampering today.

Shelly - Fantastic fast run today! Sorry to hear you're still a bit under the weather...although you'd never know it from your workouts! You're my hero:D! Yes, indeed, I didn't realize how much my mother's dilemma was weighing on me until I found out that she would be okay:). LOL about a 20 miler being preferrable to chores;).

Linda - Oh my, so sorry to hear that DD had to go to the hospital again. Sending out some {{{VIBES}}} to you and your DD. I *do* actually have a multi-disc player but it's soooooo sloooow to go from one disc to the other so I cheat and use two tvs:p. If I swivel my bedroom tv 90* I can see it from the living room (aka workout room) so I loaded up C&W in there and then PP in the living room and just bounced back and forth..although you should have seen me trying to keep the remotes straight lol:rolleyes:. I have zero experience with regards to mary recovery so you can take this worth a grain of salt but I would think that it would be safe to do what you *feel* up to. If you head out for a run and you feel that it just ain't happening then call it a day.

Jackie - Nice workout you cooked up today. Great job getting that run in on some sore legs! Thanks...I guess I'll have to try extra hard to throw a 300 just for you;)!

Dallas - Great workout(s) today! Glad you were able to get in for that appt this morning. It sounds like you really needed it! Happy to hear that your friend's son is doing so well. Still keeping your MIL in my prayers. Hopefully her two docs can up with a decision for ya.

Wendy - Had to laugh at you getting a "jump" on tomorrow's workout. Great job getting MM UB in there. Wow, you really are rarin' to go now aren't ya?!?! Glad you're feeling better:D.

Karen - Sounds like an interesting trip to the Leni Lanape grounds. I love stuff like that! Glad your calf is still behaving:D..great run! Have fun at the tournies this weekend!

Gotta go get cleaned up and back out the door for bowling. Hasta manana amigas!
 
Dallas - Glad you enjoyed your massage. How could you forget to eat lunch? My tummy would never let me forget. :D

Carole - Good job with the 6 miles! What made you decide to use your ipod?

Christine - Yoga Relax is good for stretching. It's part of Denise Austin's Yoga Body Burn and it's only 10 minutes. I don't even have to mute her. Great workout today! You rock!!

Wendy - How was dinner at mom's? Glad you got a jump on your workout and sneaked in a nap to get reenergized. Glad you're feeling better.

Karen - Sounds like a fun day for you and the girls. Glad you got in a good run with no calf issues.

Wendi - So how old is your pony? I'll be waiting to hear the bowling results.
