:::CHEETAHS:::THIRSTY THURSDAY:::

Howdy Cheetahs!

Super quick fly by to just say hi and let you all know I'm still alive...I even survived May 5th without any "incidents" so, YAY! Showing went well the past two days. The horse has been EXQUISITE!!! Some wonky judging and some bad luck kept us out of the ribbons yesterday but we were 1st and 4th today...I'm so glad there are different judges each day. I'm going to see if the show photographer has a website so you can all see him. He really could be a famous one :7.

Anyhoo, I'm ridiculously exhausted (has to get up at 2:30 am both mornings )) but still have to drag my arse to bowling to get my money. Thank God we don't have to actually bowl tonight or I'd be a goner!

Anyway, gotta split. Hope to catch up with everyone tomorrow morning as the rain that's forecasted for tomorrow has altered our plans and given me tomorrow off from showing. Nighty night!

Hello Cheetahs!

I am a bit peeved, as I didn't receive HSC today. Grrrr. x(

Christine: I love the Gauntlet too. I might attempt that tomorrow since I didn't get HSC. Maybe I should give HSTA a chance again. Will have to wait until the morning to decide on that. I'm glad you got to sleep in and rest. Rest days are nice. I bet you will be kicking some butt tomorrow though! :)

Carole: Yes, what you said about online friends makes sense. :) I will try Amy's kickbox. Good idea about breaking it down like that. People have raved about her workouts. I have a lot of special needs kids in my class, but the rest are general education students. I have more this year than usual, so it has been challenging. I only have one stinker and all the rest are good kids. :) Thanks re: the run. Allergies is one thing I don't have. Sorry about those.

Kath: You are a cleaning machine! I stress out about my paper towels getting low. :) I know, I'm wierd like that! Great job with the run in the wind! That is great about your son being really smart and modest. Sounds like a nice kid! Good kids come from good parents! :)

Sunny: Yay for you on the team training gig! :) You must do some great things! I think I need to take one of your classes! I LOVE kickboxing too!

Jackie: How exciting to be moving into a new home. It sounds like it has been a long process. Well worth the wait though! I don't think I would like the Istrength workouts. I am a visual person. You did a great workout today!

Judy: I do not have a bosu, but it is on the wish list. Does it bother your ankles? That is my only concern with them.

Posh: I hear ya on lacking on the weights and abs! I tend to get off track with that and they are so important! I am trying to get better though. It keeps me injury free.

Wendy: Sounds like you are one busy cheetah! I'm sure a 3 year old would keep you on your toes. ITA with what everyone has said about your recent running problems. I took a week off after I ran my half in Missoula this summer. I knew I needed it and didn't gain any weight or anything. But, after reading here, I tend to be one of the lazier cheetahs! LOL!
:)

Tonight I just plan on relaxing and, that's it! :) I stopped at the flyshop to pick up Ellie and DH is very tired. He is working so hard and the shop has been busy. He still has to write the weekly fishing report and post it on the website. He was supposed to do it last night, but just couldn't because he was so tired. :-( I am feeling bad for him, but realize this is what it takes to launch a new business. I hope everyone has a nice, relaxing Friday eve! :)

P.S. Hello to Cathy. I am thinking of you and hoping you are feeling better! :) I am also hoping Shelly, her DH, and furry friends are having a safe drive to the east. :)

gloria- sorry you didn't receive HSC today:(

the bad news: no workout for me today. the good news: i did get my laundry done (and put away), cooked dinner, cleaned the kitchen, finish planting flowers and spent some time with dh before he went to work tonight. so i am cool with all i accomplished.

tomorrow i will have to double up on my workouts!

nighty, nighty:)

Hello Ladies.

Well my awful HM race pics are posted. Go here and punch in my bib # 6700 to check 'em out. GAG! LOL

Carole: Hope your run went well. How nice that you'll be doing a 5k with Posh! My 5k with Shelly is actually in a week! I didn't realize it was so close! LOL

Kath: Switching chores won't work as I had shopping to do (which is done now thank goodness) but also have to clean the house!x( Sounds like you were having a sweaty and gross cobweb cleaning party at your place today. Sorry I missed out on the fun!;) I just pulled down a couple o' cobwebs that were forming in my living room. Yuck! LOL

Dallas: Nice work out! How's the fundraising coming along? How much more till you reach your goal?

Sunny: Your tat idea sounds lovely. I actually want an ankle tat (possibly a bracelet) that has my son's name or initials in it as well. I drew a rough sketch out quite some time ago and it's been hangin' on my fridge waiting for me to work up the nerve....LOL Now I don't know if I should get that done NOW or wait until AFTER the marathon tat which will probably happen next summer. Things that make ya go Hmmmm. I also have to figure out where I want the mary tat! }(

Jackie: No theme. I'm a boring mom and he won't care anyway. All he'll care about is the food, the gifts and the company. Not neccessarily in that order! LOL OMG, jump rope on the bosu!? YIKES woman! I'll have to try that now!;) Let's just hope I don't kill myself!

Judy: Well I got certified as a personal trainer last summer so I will likely be looking for a job doing that. I'd ultimately like to train out of my own home but have to wait for a bigger house in order to do that. If I have no luck then I'll go for anything that pays decent money, is close to home and works with my schedule.

Posh: So when you gonna start using the 4 Day Split work outs? Great way to get a good weight work out in FAST! Congrats on winning them! I know my legs could be weak or whatever from the half but the first 2 incidents on the TM were BEFORE the half. That's what concerns me and has me so aggravated. I am going to keep trying though. It can't last forever!

Wendi: YAY for the medals. Glad you had good shows. Up at 2:30am? YIKES! Poor thing. My DH worked from 7am to midnight 2 days in a row and that was bad. I don't even want to know what time your day ended after being in work at 2am! Where'd ya place in the bowling league?

Gloria: You are not a lazy cheetah. I envy your being able to take a full rest week. I can't do that. Not because I am afraid I'll gain weight or something but because the exercise TRULY helps to regulate my mood. If I tried to take several rest days in a row I'd probably be punching walls by the time I was 3 days into it.

GTG for now but I'll be back! :7

wendy- how about the inside of your wrist (for the mary tat)? the other one why not get it now since you are going to get the mary tat next year?

Sunny: I think the wrist idea is cool but not for me. I tend to be more "reserved" with the placement of my tats. The ankle tat is about as far as I'll go. :)
