RE: :::CHEETAHS:::THANKGOODNESS IT
Evening, cheetahs--
Whew! Just finished grading for the night. Two classes of notebooks to go. I hope to get some done tomorrow and then will have to try to squeeze the rest in this weekend somehow. Don't know when. After my exam, I guess. It'll work out.
Thanks for the kind words. Please don't misinterpret my comments as moans and groans of despair. :7 I'm A-OK. A little crazy-busy, yeah, but nothing I can't handle. Tis the time of year is all. I just meant to report on what was happening (or should I rather say, NOT happening ) on the workout front and was being reflective "out loud" in that I do want to juggle my workload better next year because that has slipped away from me some.
Shelly :: IA completely about working to live, not vice versa, but admittedly, I do have Type A tendencies. Congrats on your new digs! Sounds like a plum location.
Wendy :: Nice of you to help out BF. That's a workout in itself...Oh yeah, I love the lighter schedule of summer, which means longer workouts...As far as my eating? Nah, I never have trouble eating. I do that very well. :7 Hot fudge sundae from Mickey D's. Need I say more? Sorry to hear the TM situation is still off-kilter. IA with Christine's advice. Forget the speed for awhile until you get your groove back.
Wendi :: I am at the point where I try to avoid scheduling *anything* during the week. I need my sleep! Hope you have fun tonight @ bowling. Glad to hear it's a little earlier. Scoring the moolah would be sweet for the two of you. Continued good luck!
Christine :: End of the year is bittersweet for me. It's hectic because of the combination of school closing duties and how hyped the kids are, so by the last day, I'm ready to drop. Of course, I do look forward to summer break. But goodbyes are hard. You spend an hour a day with these kids for 10 months, and we sort of become a little family, a community of learners. I'll miss them. Thanks for the heads up about bi's & tri's. Woo-hoo on fixing the tire! You're back in action. I say go for the century ride. That's almost a month apart from your half. No doubt a tough cookie like you can handle it! That's great that eliminating the dairy has been a success.
Carole :: good we'll have Christine to talk us out of any incidents. I finished season 1...jawdropping!...and am now moving on to season 2. Hope to watch the first episode of it tonight. I may have to get this series on DVD. Go Dex!
Judy :: Humid here too. My classroom is like the frozen tundra again, though, so I wear my fleece indoors! *lol*
Jackie :: all expenses paid to Bonaire? Sweet! How do you refuse that deal??? I am team leader just until the end of the year. It's interesting being part of the leadership, just too time-consuming for my tastes. Very flattering comments from the doc. Good to have all your hard work appreciated, ay?
Gloria :: I so understand where you're coming from re: school. Have a great last day! Hope the pain subsides. It is hard to heal when you keep coughing. Would you believe I am *still* going on with the congestion & coughing myself? This sucker wants to hang on for dear life. *lol*
OK, I believe that catches me up. I'm due for some couch time and more Dexter. Have a great night!
