H'lo, my cheetahs! It’s been another busy day here, I see. Today I received payment from Carole, Judy, and Marcia…It's so nice to get cheetah mail. Your shirts and Wendy’s are ready to go, so I’ll mail them first thing in the AM.
Wendy :: I was home early enough that I *could* have gotten out there to run, but I spent another day shivering in my classroom (no heat!) and would rather work out *inside.* It feels good to finally warm up some. We did get a “wintry mix” this morning, but nothing substantial. Thanks—I plan to keep up the intensity this month…I hope the focus on endurance brings good results. Hope you enjoyed Core Syn. I don’t blame you for choosing the class over a run during your recovery week…It makes total sense to do that, and it certainly doesn’t mean you’re abandoning your running. I think the P90 plan as prescribed is working, so keep following it -- without any guilt.
Judy :: no, I can’t believe it’s February!! That’s a great idea to be off the day after Super Bowl Sunday…Party at Carole’s, right? With her new TV! …No, no solid plans here…I may hook up with some friends, but that’s only if I can manage to get my work done. I didn’t have good results when I used my HRM outdoors (once so far). It must’ve been getting interference because it often had a “0” read or something ridiculously low like “89.” With my indoor workouts, it seems to be accurate. I am still learning about its use, too. I have the F6.
Laura :: thanks! Interestingly, I had about two weeks or so where I did not have a huge calorie deficit--if I had one at all. I think it was a combo of PMS + increased workouts/intensity that kept my appetite up. I ate healthy most days and had about one cheat day per week. It makes me think that you might be able to break your current plateau if you feed the muscle & do the ol’ shock-your-body approach. I know you said rotations are tough for you to follow – me, too. But for the first time, I stuck with one this past month, and it seems to have been effective. It might be worth a try. Glad to hear your company did right by its employees. Big sigh of relief, huh?
Karen :: hope you enjoyed your 4-miler.
Kristi :: Good for you getting back on track quickly. Don’t worry-- I doubt you could have gained it all back from one bad day.
Barb :: thanks for the tip on the gloves. I may try them out w/ non-KB workouts as well. The bread sound delish, but I’m afraid I’m so busy these days, it might be a little ambitious for me to think I might be able to bake my own bread!
Carole :: thanks, my fellow shortie! It does feel good to see the numbers go down again after the holiday backslide.
Linda :: odd—that message never came through. I don't mind putting in another order, but it would be up to you guys, if you are willing to pay a little more. Thanks for the congrats! Enjoy BSB if you get to it tonight.
Gayle :: Great workout!…It *is* possible for us to place another t-shirt order, but we need a minimum of 6 shirts. With that many, the shirts would cost $27 each + $2 for shipping. Let me know if you are interested.
Susan :: lucky ducky! Enjoy that massage. Thanks--I still have 20 or so pounds to go!
Shelly :: congrats on the new ELX!!! I just may be one of the last few cheetahs who doesn’t have one!
Christine :: Yikes! Sorry about the fall…hope you’re feeling better. Looks like the silly putty hammer was returned to you just in time.
Elaine :: good to see you post! Tough workout today. I emailed you the info. What kind of classes are you taking?
Sunny :: many of my weights are neoprene, too, but my 15s and 20s are not. I’m surprised no one has invented a little weighted sleeve that could go over the ends of the neoprene ones. I also ordered the purple and silver bands while I was at it.
I am really so fried from a long week that I might go lie down and squeeze in a little nap before I work out. In case I don't manage to stop back later, have a great night, everyone!
