Morning, cheetahs
Want to catch up with yesterday’s personals first…
Shelly :: I’m glad everything went well for the first night of the OHS program… I can just imagine that it was a high-stress situation for all…It really speaks volumes about how respected you must be in your field to be selected twice for this!! WTG
I'm curious, what do you do when you’re working the charge nurse position?…The finger is still swollen but definitely feels better this morning - I can bend it again, which is great! It's sort of like how the tiniest papercut can be surprisingly painful - injure your pinky finger, which seems like no big deal, but then you find out just how much you rely on it for everyday things. Anyway, all is good.
Amy :: being a fitness instructor sounds like a great PT gig for a teacher, esp. when you become a mom. I agree--options are good. Enjoy KM today.
Susan :: ahh, a pedi! And wow, one for your 8-year-old, too. Lucky girl! (I think I was 30 when I had my first one! *lol*) How did she like it?
Wendy :: My motto is: if you’re eating clean on vacation, then…you’re doing it wrong!
*lol* Nice that you were able to get in that many workouts during the week.
Carole :: that’s great that DH is lovin’ the F6. Interesting -- I hadn’t realized I could transfer the info to the PC. Maybe I should start reading manuals more thoroughly. *lol* So does K’box Extreme involve a lot of high-impact moves? I’ve shied away from Bento b/c of what I hear about the choreo, but I can handle it in KB, just not step.
Carole & Shelly :: I threw out this question the other day, but it must’ve been buried in there somewhere…are you planning to do the group run near the hotel in the early AM? Is that the plan?
Jackie :: good luck in today’s race! Hope the weather is cool where you are.
Oh, BTW...Roadtrippers...can I confirm how big your bags will be? I'll need to know if I can pick you up in my Civic (after I empty the trunk
) or if I need to swap cars with my dad. And: do you have any thoughts about dinner after check in?
Yesterday wasn't really a taxing day but somehow it tired me out…I rode up to the cemetery with my aunt, uncle, one of my cousins, and my parents, where we met my sister (who lives in PA) and three elderly friends of my deceased “aunt,” who drove up from Maryland. It was a short and simple burial, and afterwards, we went to a nearby restaurant and shared stories and fond memories over a long lunch. It was a fitting goodbye for a unique, spirited, and fiercely independent individual.
After being dropped off, I had to make a quick run to the store and then I hit the couch, where I dozed off EARLY during one of the Shark Week programs. Even after getting all that sleep, I find myself feeling a bit lazy & blah this morning. I have PP (that sounds odd) and a run on schedule...Not feelin' it right now.
All right, have a GREAT day! BBL
