Good Morning Cheetah Loverlies!
Marcia – Good job on the Turbo Kick classes! I would so love to take one! Especially with you as the teacher!!
Cathy – we’ll be watching the game Sunday as well. I’m tired of being rutched. I’m ready to go back to being normal! I can see fireworks over the Bay in San Francisco and places like that (I want to go to those some day – they are gorgeous), but not just standard. We now have over 1100 fires in NORTHERN California. Wow… Hope your jury duty goes like mine did – you get there, you sit there an hour, and the case for which you’re called is resolved out of court!! *fingers and toes crossed*
Wendy – Oh so glad you’re treadmill balance is back!! Yeah!! I love Coach Sean, too. I MAY do him at the gym today, on a lighter tension. We’ll see.
Gloria – Whenever I go to the doc, he always tells me to do exactly what I’ve been doing, and it’s usually $100 later.
So I wait it out. Did you get your bike down? This is the third annual Chili Cook off – there’s a trophy and everything. The winner take the trophy for a year, and then brings it to the next one. It’s a good time. Everyone is really sweet and fun. I cancelled my preorder for STS. I’m going to wait to see what everyone thinks. I might even be able to pick ‘em up in trade. So we’ll see. Hope the thunder bummers brought cool air and no fires. Hope you get your focus!
Thomasina – isn’t this ridiculous?! Can you believe that people are actually considering fireworks this 4th?! I so totally agree with you and the idiots who toss cigs out the window! I think the cops should be able to fine them for attempted arson! THINK PEOPLE THINK!!! Did you spin today? I am seriously considering the massage – I think that would help a lot actually. It’s better now, thanks sweetie!
Wendi – I hope you manage to survive the good and unhealthy food at your mom’s!
YES! I’m with you and Cathy on the clean eating for the next week! I think as long as I can do SOMETHING – nothing strenuous, but SOMETHING, I’ll be better. So you’re going to run the half while we’re cheering on Cathy and Thomasina in Chicago?! Cool – we’ll be saying cheers for you, too!!! Just think of us out there, thinking of you, okay? If you can run 9 miles already, you’ll be totally fine.
Shelly – Your BIL is absolutely in my prayers! I so hope the counter offensive is fast, effective and does not harm any civilian. Oh man, how scary! I’m so sorry to hear that. Definitely keep us posted! GOOD LUCK House hunting!!! How long is your contract with the traveling nurses? I’ll bet it will be nice to see your DH again. I joke a lot about my DH’s trips, but I’m always happy when he’s home.
Hey Sunny girl! It’s official – I’ll be at the beach August 2-9. If you have a day to bring the boys and hang out, please do so! We’d love to have you there!
Carole – Back is much better, thank you. Now I just need to not do anything stupid today.
ITA that those losers belong to their own weird gene pool. Along with the idiots who toss cigarettes out the window now. Amazing. I’m praying the T-Storms only drop rain, and any lightning is light and does not touch down.
Judy – Please do send the rain to California. Have fun watching DS play! Go Team!
I’m feeling better today, and I do plan to do some kind of work out, but I’m going to be very careful. I may end up taking Jimmy for a long walk or something. I’m so dying to lift and well, ride, but both of those are out at least until Thursday. I might try some yoga today, too. I’ll probably try to keep yoga in my rotation – I haven’t done it much, and I think I’ve lost flexibility which is never good. Anyway, today is a bit busy. I’m going to workout, hit the mall for a dress for tomorrow and a shirt for tonight, then I have to swing by the grocery store to get the ingredients for my Chicken Chili (I’ll make that this year). If I have time, I’ll get the rest of the groceries as well. Then it’s off to the Cook Off which is a 45 minute drive away and promises to be quite a party. Have a great day all!
