Afternoon, cheetahs!
Lorie :: Wow! Whatta sky! *lol* about the goggles.
Shelly :: I definitely hear you on the need to hit the streets early. Glad the nap & some relaxation recharged you...*lol* about the geek phone...I just HAD to get my cheetah fix...it's actually pretty user-friendly...hope the weather was conducive for some time on the water.
Wendi :: Good God!

about the windshield wipers. I hear you--I prefer light rain also.

You managed to fall asleep on a CONCRETE floor???
Christine aka

Wonderful to hear about your back being pain-free!...Sorry about DD15's lost baby bird.

...I sent another follow-up email to Lance's peeps, and things are now in place--finally! Would you believe I contacted them in the very beginning of May, just a few weeks after I registered for the marathon? Apparently, the marathon coordinator left, so I guess that's why the ball was dropped. Anyway, I'm a little nervous about being able to raise the minimum, but I'll do my best and am prepared to make up the difference if not...
Rant has definitely captured my interest. It reminds me a lot of Joyce Carol Oates' work--strong voice, quirky characters, dark, unexpected...I am doing curriculum writing today through Wednesday. (Today was a teeth-gnasher as we learned we had to reformat and redo much of the previous work.) Thursday I'll be in a facilitator training class for NBs.
Carole :: My knee is fine today--back to normal.

I guess some random bone aches are just part of the deal as mileage increases... I am working through Thursday this week, and after that, I'm off again. Apparently, I did not make the cut for the other committee I was hoping for. *lol*...How long has it been since you ran 4 days? I take it you are feeling good n' healthy! That's great! Funny, I was just fiddling with the notion of how many days I should run. I've been doing three, but I'm wondering if four would be better. Any thoughts?...I'm a fan of Aquaphor, too. I *lived* off the stuff when I was on Accutane and my lips were fried off. Good product...I really enjoy lifting heavy, too...As if the fires and smoke weren't enough, I heard on the news about the mudslides.

I really hope you guys are cut a break soon!
Dallas :: :7 Oh my bad! I thought mentioning Balmex would be like asking you if you'd ever heard of Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo. *lol*. I have also used the Aquaphor and like it equally...My knee is fine today. Guess it was just some post-run stiffness...Hope you enjoyed your workout.
Jackie :: Wow! Heavier than Cathe is sure impressive. Love those days when you feel strong. Sounds like a busy Monday at work for you.
Wendy :: Oh yeah, you are definitely some kind of masochist, but at least you're not alone with this group (myself excluded). :7...I didn't think yet about which kb workout I will do. Snorted at the comments about Keith and the sand. I always get a kick out of "The Man Maker," which I feel compelled to say out loud in a really strange accent.

It's true I haven't done that workout in awhile...so hmmm, perhaps.
BBL!
