Gloria...I have one race pic from 2001 that I love...it is on my picturetrail account under My Album (the 1st one when the Album opens) and it was the Humboldt marathon if you get a chance to check it out. The only time I looked like a real runner...:D...I am afraid to show my DH your DH's website!!! He will want to go! Is your DH the one on the "Our Team" page?

Dallas..glad the run went well. I bet your Garmin distance was more accurate...:)..I have actually run marathons when others jumped in with friends...I am sure it would not be allowed with the Elite runners in the top ten!!

Cathy...if there is a way I can run the last 6 or so with you, you know I will...it would be fun...I hear ya about the new do pic. My remote for my digital is not working so I might have to have DH take the pic....I'll bet that bootcamp class was a tough one...:D

Heather...nice to see you again! Have you checked out any beginning running programs at runnersworld.com or coolrunning.com for some tips on getting started? You will probably be doing a lot of run/walking at first. I think most runners like endurance workouts for help with running but for me strength training with heavy weights seemed to help the best (I have always been different!!!)..I will miss you at the RT but maybe next year!!

Tomasina...get a tennis ball for the piriformis...:D...it gets in there better than the roller. I already told my sister I knew someone that would be there for the Nike 5K and she said "We will have to meet up with her then" I didn't get to talk about it with her yet, but when I do about when we will be going down, I will let you know...

Well...I cleaned my Moms living and dining room carpets. They had never been cleaned before...http://smilies.sofrayt.com/eng/shock11.gif[/img] ..I guess before I got there she was telling my other sisters how to clean...:D....

Now I am relaxing with an Ultra and watching Sadie try to get the squirrel out of the oak tree so she can chase it!!!

You look fabulous in that pic! I can't wait to find out if I get accepted into the NYC marathon! I do have a good feeling about it though. Yes, that is my DH. I say show your DH the site. I know of some beautiful trails we could run on! :) I myself am having a Canadian beer (Labatt's Blue). That is really the only kind of beer we drink. When we were in Montana we couldn't find it anywhere!

Posh: I have been bosu enabled! :) The only problem is that I will have to travel 40 min. to get one. I live in a small community in the middle of nowhere. :)

Gloria ~ OMG, I love your new siggy. "The Road Not Taken" is my favorite Frost poem. I just had my kids recite that one...Sorry to get ya all fired up unintentionally :7. It's cool to have another teacher here. We both seem to share a passion for what we do. Unfortunately, I have encountered some special ed teachers with that mentality, too. At my former school, we had a few who would sit in the back of the room and read magazines. But the good ones are worth their weight in gold...GREAT website. I don't fish, but I do enjoy nature. That is a part of the country I would like to see someday. Now we need to see a pic of you. It's always good to have a face to place with the name. I hope you make NYC, but in case you don't, perhaps you would consider Chicago?

Carole ~ Peeked at your PictureTrail...you are so photogenic, Ms. Carole, and wow, you look totally ripped in your race shots. Be my trainer, please!!! :7 That would be awesome if you can run part of it. I read that mile 20 is when it's halfway over.

Posh ~ *lol* on the suggestions re: the tissues. Too funny! We are going to have such a blast in Chitown. Keep workin' on our girl Dallas. Jackie and Lorie still haven't ruled it out entirely, either.

Cathy: I have been revved up this whole week about special ed. On Monday at our staff meeting our superintendent asked us to write down ideas re: our strategic plan and she wrote NOTHING! She is in my professional learning community and she contributes nothing to the group. Ok, I am done now. Phew, that felt good. :) Thanks re: the site, they are all hard workers. I could easily be enabled to go to Chicago, but I think it is too late for that. It would be fun to meet the Cheetahs though! Northern Michigan is really nice. I live up north, but LOVE going to the upper peninsula. It is very desolate. They even have their own accent up there and I pick it up if I'm there long enough. I was a little tipsy last weekend and asked my friends to take a picture of Andy and I so I could post it to the Cheetahs, and then wouldn't you know I forgot my camera there. You will "see" me soon. My DH has his masters degree in english literature and turned me on to poetry. We had a poetry cafe' at our school and each student read a poem of their choice outloud. One of my higher students chose The Pasture (I think that's what it's called) by Robert Frost. I told her she couldn't read it unless she knew what it meant. She did. :)

Well the party was a success. Not too much left over food so I'm happy about that. The party lasted just a little longer then the time it took me to clean the house for it! LOL Everyone left between 8 and 8:30 and now DH is watching a movie and DS is playing with all of his new toys. :7

And mom? Well, she's tired and pretty darned brain dead right now so forgive me for not doing personals. I will catch up tomorrow though!

Hey, did I tell you!? DH IS COOKING DINNER TOMORROW NIGHT and I GET TO PICK WHAT WE HAVE!:7 }( :7 This is going to be AWESOME!!!!;)

I have BBC Shoulders and Back on tap for tmrw along with a run. If it's going to be nice I will take it to the park instead of hitting the gym. :) Other then that, I have no plans. I may have a few "after party" odds and ends that need to be taken care of but goodness knows I don't have to CLEAN!!! Not that I would anyway...not on Mother's Day!!!:p

Well, I'm going to get changed and put go put my feet up. I hope all the Cheetah mommies have a great day tmrw!!!:)
