Good Morning Girls. How is everyone this morning?
Well, hold onto your horses folks. You are NOT going to believe this but.....*drum roll please*.....I didn't work out ALL weekend!!!!

I wanted to do something when I got home yesterday but it just didn't happen for various reasons. I felt very guilty ofcourse, but today is a new day, and I'm over it.
Carole: How did your mom's therapy go yesterday?
Karen: So did you get your Birthday wishes-no fighting and a dinner prepared by DH? I hope your day was pleasant.
Judy: Thanks re BF's mom. My mom was mine and BF's age (36) when she lost her mom AND her mom was younger then BF's mom so she knows how tough it is too. I can't even imagine....

Sorry DS' team got eliminated but with school starting today perhaps it was a blessing in disguise.
Shelly: Nice 14 miler girl! Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah I was iffy on the Ocean Drive Marathon because it's at the end of March so the weather could do ANYTHING but it's the only local full marathon that catches my eye and excites me so I think it's worth taking the chance with the weather. That would be fun if you decided to join.
Gloria: It's sad what your DH had to go through as a child. Thank goodness though that his mom survived and that all is well today. You don't hear that all too often.
Linda: OMG, being chased by a dog is one of my biggest fears when I run outdoors. I guess the dogs were only out for some fun. PHEW! I would have an attack. I carry spray too and the possibility of a loose dog is the #1 reason. I am mildly concerned about people but more so about dogs.

Glad your 17 went so well. Great to hear especially after what you went through at the race.
Cathy: Yeah they say C sections make for a tough recovery.

So what's the new addition's name going to be?

WOW, you had a fabulous run! How awesome that you felt so great about 20 miles. That must give you BIG TIME confidence for the upcoming marathon! You are gonna bust through that finish line feelin' like you go another 20. I just know it!

I read your blog and understand about the emotional moment. It's a huge sense of accomplishment when you run a new longer distance. I actually got a bit emotional at the beginning of both of my halfs. I was too exhausted to get emotional at the finish. LOL
Today's work out will be a short run. I am also hoping to have time to run home and hit some weights before having to shower and pick up DS from school.
BBL.
