::: CHEETAHS ::: make the most of Monday!

RunninTeach

Cathlete
Good morning, cheetahs! :) :) :) I enjoyed reading the race reports of our three fabulous cheetah sisters!

Wendy :: laughed like hell about the “pister”…Yes, that was the idea to catch you right near the finish…I knew I was close to the time you thought you might be comin’ in and that I was cutting it close, so I rushed up to the boardwalk without even paying attention to what street I’d parked on. *lol* Glad I did find the car after. Are your race pics up yet?…IA that the support, inspiration, and friendship we cheetahs share is amazing.

Kristi :: glad you’re enjoying the Garmin…it *is* a great gadget! I don’t use my HRM much, either, but it’s nice to know ya can if ya want to.

Wendi :: yeah, I’m thinking about either an MA or PhD – thinkin’ I ain’t doin’ it, that is. *lol* I feel like I need a break from going to school…enjoy your trail run today.

Shelly :: congrats on taking 2nd!…I can’t believe you then raced with an iceblock, shopped and came home and did LIS, HIS, both weight pieces, *and* KB. Holy smokes, woman! Can’t wait to see the pics!

Jackie :: congrats on your PR for a tough-as-nails course! Sounds like the elements were operating in your favor. Hope you feel well-rested this morning.

This morning I woke up w/ some good pain ~ got some serious DOMS in the leg & booty region from yesterday’s mishmosh. Yes!!! However, I also woke up with some bad pain. I mentioned that my back has been tight the past couple of days. Well, I think I did something to it since last Thursday’s adjustment. I have been applying heat and avoided doing back work yesterday, but it seems to have gotten *worse* somehow. Even the slightest movement causes sharp pains. I’m going to take some Advil and hope it goes away.

I have my Zoom whitening after school today and will either do Crunch: Joy of Yoga this evening or I may take a full rest day. Will decide later.

Have a great Monday, everyone!

Oh, BTW, for anyone who wasn't around this weekend, we have kicked around the idea of doing a holiday gift exchange. So far it looks as though Christine, Wendy, Lorie, and myself are definitely interested. (Did I miss anyone?)

It's been proposed that we would agree to a price limit, and then each participant would make a list of three wishes. Those who are interested in the exchange could PM their name, email address, & mailing info to a contact person, who would then draw names randomly and notify each of us of who we have. I am willing to be the contact person...(I'd have someone help me do the drawing and emailing, so it'll be a surprise even to me). (Unless someone who's NOT participating is willing to do the name-drawing for us.) Some folks on the VF boards are doing something similar and they've designated Dec. 5th as the mail-by date. I like that idea of an early deadline, so that our exchange happens before all the hub-bub really kicks in.

So is anyone else interested? For those who are, can we throw out some ideas re: price limit? Are there other ideas about how it should be organized? Is there a date we'd want to have these mailed by? Should we agree NOT to open the gifts until a designated time when we can all be "here"?

Some who aren't interested in the gift exchange have expressed interest in doing a holiday card exchange again this year. I still have last year's list, so if you're new or didn't participate last year and want to this time, please PM me your mailing address and I'll add you to the list.

Good morning inspirational cheetahs:)

wendy-again, a huge congrats!!

shelly- you are an awesome lady. i am just in awe of the things you do. congrats on your 2nd place win. you definitely deserved it!

jackie- what a wonderful job you did with your new PR!! you are kicking some booty with all of your races this year, lol. go girl!!

cathy- sounds like you need a break from school. i am however thinking of going back to school for my MS in exercise science. it's a big step for me with all that i have going on right now but it's something i really want to do. can't ever learn to much, lol.

today's workout will be a full body workout. probably my own, not sure.

ttyl...

hi everyone!

sorry i was mia yesterday. df and i spent the day together then met some friends for a late lunch/early dinner with some drinking involved. ;) i don't feel badly today, but not 100%.

i didn't get to say CONGRATULATIONS to wendy for finishing. you are awesome, girl!

well, i need to go read everything and catch up on all the happenings yesterday. i will be back later, gators!

Hi Girls! Do you mind if I join? I want to join another check in but I don't know which one!LOL This one and the Hardcores seemed most appropriate.

I am hoping to get out for a run today but it looks as if its gonna rain AGAIN! Im gonna keep my fingers crossed, just the same.

I will read everyones post when I return!

Lori:)

Good Morning Ladies! *yawns and rubs eyes*

I just rolled out of bed (literally!) a few minutes ago. For whatever reason I was never able to sleep yesterday afternoon. I laid in bed for 30 minutes. My eyes were closed but I didn't even doze!? Odd. Went to mom's for dinner last night and had that beer I was craving (LOL!). It made me a little sleepy but nothing terrible so when I got home I STILL didn't jump into bed right away. I slept late this morning though and still feel very tired. I didn't have a good night's sleep. I am experiencing DOMS in my hips and thighs like I have never had before in my life! It hurt to move in bed last night so every time I wanted to adjust my position I would wake up. Eventually around 3-4am I had trouble getting back to sleep. I didn't get out of bed though and was eventually able to doze back off but I may be a bit tired today. So anyway, this fierce DOMS is probably my own fault. x( When I would finish my training runs (or any run I ever do for that matter) I am usually pretty diligent about stretching before I head home. Well, yesterday with the cramping I was experiencing I COULDN'T stretch right away. As it was dissapating I was stretching a little but never got a good round in before we hopped in the car to head for the diner. I tried to stretch a little bit when I got home at one point but again, not enough, and probably too late. Perhaps I will pop in a stretch vid today and see if I can help loosen things up a bit. I can hardly walk right now! LOL I also have a tender left knee and the toes on my left foot are tender as well. Jeesh, I am all banged up!:7

OMG, sorry for rambling on! How self-absorbed of me!

Cathy: Sorry about your back. I hope it goes away on it's own soon! Good for you on the lower body DOMS! I'll give you mine if you give me yours! LOL Girl, your teeth are GORGEOUS! What do you need to whiten?? I hope you are happy with the results though. :)Last I checked (last night), only some of the race pics were up and none of the results. You can be sure I'm gonna keep checkin' though! I'll let you know when to go take a peek. :)

Sunny: Possibly going back to school? WOW! Good for you! I don't think I could ever do that! So what spurred this on? Was it your own idea or did someone suggest it to help further your career?

Lorie: Sounds like you had a fun day with DF and your friends. So do you have more double Barry torture on tap for today??

Lori: WELCOME girl! Ofcourse you can join this check in! I can vouch for you that you are a runner and not just tryin' to butt in where ya don't belong!;) :p :7

Well, I won't be doing any cardio or lower body work for a few days I think. I need to regain the ability to walk like a human first! LOL I was, though, considering doing the blasted bi/tri work today that never happened. What do you girls think? Should I or shouldn't I? I am overdue for a rest day but I'll be resting what needs it! Think it's a super dumb idea or what?

BB in a bit!:)

wendy-i think you should just give yourself a real rest day. you have more than earned it. not sure if i am going to work out today or not. i haven't had a rest day in the last 7 days. i am gong to see how i feel. i like to get in at least one rest day a week and didn't do that this past week.

we'll see...

Lorie:

Funny you should say that I should take a complete rest day. After I typed that I was considering doing bi/tri and asked if it was a dumb idea, it seems a "higher power" answered the question for me cause I went to stretch and YEOWCH! I stretched wrong and aggrivated my arthritis so now u/b work is out too until it feels better!x(

Good morning cheetahs

Cathy...geeze, I cannot believe you passed on the scrapple once again!..http://bestsmileys.com/eek/4.gif[/img]...Glad you got to see Wendy after the big event! I am glad the skunk thing was uneventful also...Sorry about the back pain...are you going to the chiro? I am going to have to pass on the gift exchange, but I would enjoy doing the card exchange again...:)

Wendy...http://bestsmileys.com/signs15/11.gif[/img] on your HM yesterday!! I know they do make supplements for runners that get leg cramps, and you might check into that for your next HM...:)...I can only imagine how painful those last couple of miles were. I am so proud of you for fighting it and pushing thur til the end. You are a very strong cheetah! That is sweet DH videotaped it and I am glad you met up with Cathy too. The poster and stuffed cheetah sound cute...I think rest or stretching would be good for you today.

Sunny...enjoy your full body workout.

Lori...Welcome! I hope the rain holds out so you can run.

Shelly...2nd place!!! Congrats as that course sound grueling. Then you went up the longest stair climb holding Ice???...you are crazy girl! I doubt I would have made it up any steps with the Ice. Then the same day you did LIS and HIS? http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/b0/pray.gif[/img]

Jackie...sounds like your race went well also. That is a great pace for 10 miles. How is your foot feeling today?

Kristi...I agree, the Garmin 305 is very cool and I LOVE mine...:)

Wendi..you could always download the game on your PC and try for the buck!! I am glad the skunk left me alone...little bugar! How was your trail run yesterday?

Amy...I am not sure if skunks hibernate, but we have trouble every year around Sep & Oct, and if you see them in the daylight they are normally rabid.

I am planning on a run this morning. Not sure about weights yet as I should get my DVD's this afternoon, so I might do a full body weight workout and start with the new DVD's tomorrow.

Have a great day...:)

Hi Cheetahs-

Wendy- Will a hot bath help at some point? In Chi Running, Danny recommends hot baths. I personally take a bath after every run.

Lorie- At least you don't have the hangover that was... um going around here last week! did you happen to remember how long the UB premix of 4DS was?

welcome Lori :) We have chatted on open forum in the past.

Cathy Take care of your back/ I hope you just did a temporary little thing, like slept on it funny.

I just completed a 5 mile steady state run. My hip did not agree. It is on ice for a few minutes. I have to review what I did last time to recover. Doing leg/ glute work was recommended by the PT, and I have been light on legs. I may head down stairs to try 4DS legs & core. However, I really should be cleaning. Well I'll do both. TTYL

EDIT- Hi Carole! you posted while I was still getting mine ready !

Hi Cheetahs –

Unexpected rest day (unless I can get out of going in to work!). I woke up last night at 11:30PM with a tightness in the sternum area and for some weird reason a very sore wrist (???). (No, no pain shooting down the arm – just the in the wrist joint). I took a Pepcid AC and the pain went away and I was able to sleep. This morning, there is still a heaviness there, but my wrist is better (I think it was a flare up of my old carpal tunnel syndrome – which typically only flares in high humidity). I don’t typically get heartburn like that, but I think I had too much fiber yesterday and body was protesting.

Shelly – I read your race report last night just grinning ear-to-ear! What a race! And when I read that you ran with a block of ice up yet another set of stairs I thought, “There’s our Shelly!” You’re amazing!! Glad you had so much fun. That one does sound like fun, actually.

Cathey – Great job on the Booty DOMS, but sorry about the pain! I hope the pain goes away soon. As for the gift exchange - I was thinking maybe a $20/$25 limit – if that’s too dear, I’m fine with that, too. I also like the December 5th deadline.

Sunny – You are another amazing lady with your desire for schooling! I agree that you can never learn too much. Wow – let us know what you do!

Lorie – Hope you’re feeling better!

Lori – Welcome!! Hope you get in your run!

Wendy – I think not stretching after a race is common as there is so much going on. That’s why I scheduled a yoga day for the day after. I hope you’re feeling better! I was a bit banged up, too – I think it’s common after a longer race like that.

Carole – Enjoy your run and whatever weights you choose! And I’m glad you managed to avoid the skunk! Especially one in the middle of the day! Not a good thing!

Judy – Hope your hip feels better!! Love your quote, by the way!!

Prayers to the people of southern California with the Wild fires! And all of the animals who are in the path.

judy-oh, i totally forgot you asked about that! it clocked in at about 65 minutes. it wasn't too long although she did 5-6 "rounds" for every body part. surprisingly enough, i didn't really have any doms BUT i did not lift very heavy. the heaviest set of dumbells i have are 20's. i need to get some 25's but i don't think i'll go much heavier than that. oh, i do think i have a touch of the hangover. ugh!

wendy-glad you are taking a rest day. you deserve it.

shelly-you are a MACHINE!!! stairs, LIS, HIS, ice-carrying-stairs-thingie!!! W.O.W.!!!

cathy-rest your back! as for the gift exchange, whatever everyone decides is fine with me. i'll also do the card exchange. sounds like fun!

carole-let us know what you think of the new workouts. i did like the premix i did on saturday. not sure how much i will like the step stuff as i can't do "dancy" and a lot of choreography.

christine-girl! you BETTER be taking a rest day with that sternum pain!!!

so, i had a bit of a revelation this morning on the way into work. i realized that i am having way too many little aches and pains probably due to doing too much. so, i started thinking about my normal run schedule. i usually do three to four runs between 6-8 miles a week along with another sprint run or something (this was my schedule before the bronchitis). i realized that there is NO NEED to be running so much during the week. i am going to start doing the iTread 40 minute runs on the weekdays (instead of 60 minutes plus) and do one long run. my half is in 4 and a half weeks and i don't want to get injured and not be able to do it. also, i need to get away from being such a cardio junkie. i realize my total mileage is not really a lot (under 30 miles a week) but i don't think doing all those longer runs during the week is really helping me and shorter runs can be just as effective. moreso, like i said, i want to let go of my cardio obsession. i would probably run faster and more effectively if i was doing 40 minute runs during the week. so, i am hoping you guys will hold me to my "resolution." i want to see if it makes a difference this week.

Good morning ladies,
I am up and ready for HIS and chest and back. I am really LOVING this new series. I did the LIS on an 8 inch step and then the shoulders and abs and wow, what a great workout! I loved the shoulders and especially the ab portion. It was different and I really felt it the next day. The step portion was kind of nice with no jumping. I still got the heart rate up, but just not gasping for air. My favorite so far is the bootcamp workout.

Wendy, FANTASTIC JOB!!!!! You rock!!! YEs, give your body a few days of rest. I am so proud of you. That was a huge accomplishment:)

CAthy, count me in for the gift exchange. That sounds like fun! I had the teeth whitening about 5 years ago. It was painless for me and I liked the results a lot.

Christine, sternum pain? That does not sound good. Take a rest day and perhaps have some good indian food}(

Sunny, enjoy your full body workout:)

Lorie, yes, it looks like your body may be telling you something. The amazing thing that I find it that I feel better with a little bit less and I usually look better too. Take it down just a notch and let your body have a little down time. Injuries are a dray and it usually is due to overtraining;-)

Welcome Lori, I hope you get your run in!

CArole, YAY!!!! Your dvd's are coming today. You will love the weight workouts!

Judy, Too bad about the hip. Is is bursitis or do you know? I have been having a little hip problems after my run as well. At around 30 minutes into my run, my right hip has been tightening up. Hope the ice helps:)

Okay ladies, I am off to take kids to school. Have a great day and hello to all the cheetahs that follow.

Shelly, great job on coming in 2nd!!!!

Susan

Good morning lovely cheetahs! I'll be getting around to catching up with personals but first I thought I'd share some pics to amuse you all with of my latest stair climb and ice carry adventure!

This is me on one of the typical staircases of the race (I believe it was the 3rd one) Obviously it is after the race since there is no one else there. If you look hard you can see some rails way at the top which is where this particular staircase ends. Just to give you an idea of what I was facing!
http://pic50.picturetrail.com/VOL488/4961079/16333934/284507721.jpg

This next one is me just before racing up the stairs in the Iceman competition. The block of ice wasn't heavy... only 5 lbs but it seemed like 500 lbs at the top!!
http://pic50.picturetrail.com/VOL488/4961079/16333934/284507726.jpg

BTW, to clear up a misperception. I guess I was in a hurry last night while posting. I did not do LIS and HIS and KB the same day as the race and ice carry, I did the 4DS workouts the following day(yesterday) when I got home! I'm not THAT crazy!

ShellyC

Hello again! Back for personals! It's pretty cool out this morning.
Was in the 30s when I woke up so I'm waiting for it to warm up a tad by chatting with my favorite group of fit ladies;-) I'll be going for a 16 mile run today:7 :7 DH and I will hopefully be catching a movie later and if I have the strength when I return I'd like to do the Legs&Core section of 4DS KB.

Jackie- Please forgive me dear Jackie!!! I forgot when I was posting yesterday that you were racing also:eek: Part of your amazing road series. Congratulations to our resident RoadWarrior cheetah for a fantastic performance on her 10 miler! WTG on the PR!!!!!
You are absolutely unstoppable!!!

Cathy- That was so sweet that you came to see Wendy on her HM debut!
How frustrating that you must missed her but at least you had a GTG and could share in her post race accomplishment glow! I'm so sorry your back is troubling you today! I guess you are resting then?
I'm afraid I will have to opt out of the gift exchange but I'd love to do the card thing again!

SunnyD- Thanks so much for the congrats! It means ALOT coming from you! I so admire your talent and dedication. Have a great full body workout today!

Lori- Welcome to cheetahville!!!!!:7 :7 :7 :7 We are all so happy to have you join us! I hope you can get in a good run today.
So..... tell us a little about yourself! Where are you, what kind of runs do you do and how often, are you training for a race or do you like to race? Inquiring minds want to know!;-)

Wendy- I have committed the same error of not stretching after a hard race. I'm just so thankful and excited to finish it just blows out of my mind and I pay for it later. A good stretching vid would be just the ticket for you today.
Congratulations again on an absolutely awesome accomplishment!
Wait until your first marathon!!!}( }( }(

Carole- Hate to disappoint you but I did not tack on the LIS/HIS workouts after my race and ice carry... it was the next day!
So you are getting the new workouts today? Just a word of caution.
Wait until you have plenty of time to tackle HIS in particular. The moves are tricky. Bootcamp you will LOVE!!! Can't wait to here your opinion!!! Well, I'm still in shape and rarin to go for LV:7 :7

Judy- I don't know if you caught it or not but I did give a full race report on the end of yesterday's thread. (I know you love to read race reports!) Yikes, is that hip pain acting up again???
That sure is a stubborn onex( I hope you can figure out from your record a good way to head this off!

Christine- Hiya! Is this a rest day for you? It sure does sound like you had a nasty case of heartburn! Hope the carpal tunnel relapse is better too... that can hurt!

Lorie- Well, did you have a fun filled fantastic weekend? I like your idea of keeping the midweek runs to 40 minutes or so and having a long run on the weekend. Unless you are training for a marathon and are in the peak stages there is no need really to do such long mid week runs. Smart strategy!

Susan- I'm loving these new workouts myself! I'm just a tad disappointed in the kickbox cardio workout. Just didn't do much for me, but I'll give it another try. Like you I adore the bootcamp vid!!! Have a great day!

Time to get moving here! I'll try and check back in later.

ShellyC

Hey Girls.

So DS and I are going to have a very lazy day today. He has been glued to the tv all morning for some reason and I am still hobblin' around here like a zombie. Can't wait for nap time!;)

I *DO* have to train tonight but that shouldn't be a problem. BF is coming here so I can pop in a Cathe vid for warm up and cool down since my neck is most likely going to prevent me from leading/participating in those sections like I usually do.

Carole: I am wondering if I should look into the supplements for the cramping or just give the gatorade in my water idea a shot for longer runs. Hmmmm....My camera needs to be charged but as soon as it is I plan to take a pic of the poster and cheetah I got from Cathy and I will post it here for you to see. :) So you get your new DVDs today? How exciting! Are you a previewer or do you jump right in? Enjoy your run. Let us know how far you decided to go!

Judy: A hot bath sounds lovely! Perhaps at nap time! When I was showering y'day after the race I was thinking about those who do the ice bath thing after long runs to prevent soreness. YIKES! I couldn't even imagine! The hot bath is much more to my liking! LOL I hope you get everything done today that's on your to-do list. I know you will!

Christine: Sorry to hear about your aches and pains. I hope you are 100% soon. Yoga would be a great idea for me today if not for my darned neck! x( I can't believe it decided to act up TODAY of all days! ACK!

Lorie: Don't worry, we cheetahs are right here to help you keep your running resolution. I think it sounds like a great idea. I think it will help you alot! I for one know how hard it can be to force yourself to take it down a notch but I do think it can be the best thing for your body at times!

Susan: ITA that this new series ROCKS! It's awesome! I plan on doing a full rotation using it as soon as I am back in working order again! LOL Thanks re the half. I'm so happy I did it despite the fact that I can barely move today!:p

Shelly: OMG those stairs! Yikes! Even scarier to think of it now that I saw the pic! The block of ice thing is a bit crazy especially after the stair climb race but I am not at all surprised that you did it! You are incredible! :) My first WHAT did you say!?!? LOL OMG girl, I can't even imagine!!!!!

K, looks like I'm all caught up on the personals front. Not much else going on around here to yap about so I'll be back a bit later!

Toodles!:)

Wendy- Just a quickie-- thanks so much for your comments to me yesterday!!! You are such a sweetie (and a hottie too!) I saw your comment to Carole and I just had to add re: cramps. You definitely should be drinking sports/electrolyte replacement drinks on any runs that go over say 1 to 1.5 hrs! I assumed you were already dong that. It will make a difference in your performance and how you feel afterwards!!!

ShellyC

Hey Shelly.

You're very welcome for what I posted to you y'day. I meant every word of it!:)

What I was doing while training for the half was munching on a protein bar for energy. It helped to give me the energy to get through the run. I had no problems with cramping at all while training so I never even thought of it bofore y'day! I've always run with just water so figured that along with the protein bar and I'd be okay. Live and learn, right? I am going to use gatorade on my longer runs from now on. I don't ever want to experience that kind of pain again if I can at all help it!

Jackie my dear! I forgot about your race, too! What a great time!! Sounds like a killer race, but great job on the 10 miles!!! You are the official Cheetah Road Warrior!

Lori - I think your new strategy is a great idea. I do best with 3-4 runs a week, with one long run and the others shorter.

Susan - okay, okay, I should have paid for faster shipping. x( I'm so jealous of all the Cheetahs with these new ones. These have excited me more than the others, and I thought it would be the exact opposite. Supposed to be a hot one today! Stay cool.

Shelly - all I can say is wow! LOVE the photos! Those stairs ARE scary! Wow! You are an animal - a 16 miler after that?

Wendy - enjoy your rest day. I know the "hobbling" feeling - my achilles was not happy after my race! Remember, running a half is like giving birth - after a few weeks, the pain will fade from your memory and suddenly you'll have a desire to do another. It's not until about mile 10 into the next one that you remember the pain! :+

I'm doing much better now. I think I'm going to go home over lunch and do the Circuit/UB premix on LIS (from the "Sash series"). I haven't done that one in a long time. I so love high impact, but I think I need to be careful for a bit. I thinking of going the exact opposite for 4-8 weeks than I did before my half - do a 4DS/GS series rotation with limited cardio.

Holy!!! This is a chatty much of pussycats!!! I didn't think I would have much to catch up on, I sure was wrong:eek:

Well...I can fill you in on a small portion of my life:) You don't need to know about the last 29 yrs:p
I probably started running about 10 yrs ago. Gave it up again. Started again after I met DH,about 9yrs ago, gained the freshmen 15 and couldn't afford anything but a pair of sneaks :) Of course I just started with a run/walk about 5 kms, then through out the yrs I increased it. Had my 2nd child 9 monthes ago, took a yr off and started back when he was 4 weeks old. The most I run now on a daily basis is about 75 mins. But I do do a 10 mile run once a week (1 hour 40 mins). That is all I have time for and by the end of it, my knee starts to feel a little funny. Not to mention, I am pushing a stroller and I can only go as long as he will nap for. Of course I still do my Cathe workouts and with winter approaching, I won't get outside to run at all. Thats where my TM comes in....but DS's naps will become shorter and I will also return to work in 2 weeks, not sure how I will manage a full time job, household, work and working out! I guess a routine will fall into place.
As for racing...never done one! I live in a very small town (about 8000 people) and the only time they have races here are during festival time. Once a yr and its only 10 k. Most yrs I have been working and couldn't go anyway but this yr I sat it out and went to the community breakfast instead! LOL Im considering doing a half marathon in Halifax in May....should be fun but again, work may play a big role. I will have to check everything out when I return to work.
Oh and I live in Newfoundland Canada.....

Wendy, I think you should also take a rest day! Did you ever think you would be checking in with little ole me again? I was thinking about you today and remembering when we use to check in and you just started running and now your RACING! You must be so happy and proud. Who knew you had a secret love? How is the fam? No more babies yet??????

Lorie, hope you start feeling better;) Those drinks can get the better of ya! Smart choice on cutting back. I really try to listen for aches and pains now. I use to run so much that I could barely walk down the steps when I got home...hint hint! But I would tie up my shoes again the next day! Now I just try to think about how I would like my limbs and joints to work when I am 60!

Cathy, I still have DOMS from doing the GS on Sat! I went really heavy and did all the pushups on my toes. I was sore before I went to bed! And I hope your other aches magically disappear as well!

Judy, thanks for the welcome!

Carole, hope you get out for your run and your dvds come! What a great day that will be!!!!:)

Christine, thanks for the welcome and enjoy your rest day!!

Susan, sounds like you have a goody planed for the day! Enjoy your workout! I don't have the new series yet...Im not sure why I didn't order them. Im usually first in line!

Shelly, did I answer all your questions! LOL I know, its nice to know who your chatting to.

So I did get out for my run. I did about 70 mins, I guess. I had my HRM set before I actually went and I didn't restart it. Then I got the mail on the way and had to walk back home to drop off a parcal. Grant it, it was only a 1 min walk but when you are timing yourself...every second counts:) Before having DS I use to be able to come home and do some weight work as well but right now all I can do is run and save weights for another day. Oh well...take whatever you can get right?

Hope I didn't miss anyone!
Enjoy the rest of your day!

Lori:)
