CHEETAHS...it's almost FRIDAY!!!

Hola, cheetah babes! :)

Christine :: so, did you knock out some more shopping during lunch? How's the DOMS situation?

Wendi :: yes, I did get news…posted to you about it last night…Wasn't in my favor, but I'm movin' on with my chin up! :)...yeah, I’m in leg/glute attack mode right now…I did several rounds of something similar to this during the summer, and I liked the results…I think I need it now to keep the holiday pounds off. I’m not sure at this point if losing is possible, so I’m goin' for damage control at the very least!…have fun bowling.

Carole :: IA- it is heartbreaking to watch. I had to put my cat down after she contracted feline leukemia…the poor thing was suffering so badly. Hope you made a good dent in your packing and can kick back with some football tonight. Not sure when you’re leaving, but safe travels to ya and a great HM!

Wendy :: I had a great sub yesterday…Love coming back to a good report. :) Sorry we didn’t get to your question in time…I usually cannot read or post from work…I see you went w/ the run and had a great one at that! I feel extra cheetah power when I wear the shirt, too. :)

Sunny :: hope you enjoyed your rest day.

Susan :: I’m glad to hear Mary has made it through the worst part of the treatment. What a strong woman she is -- and what a one-in-a-million friend you are. It's true we spend so much time letting trivial stuff bug us when we really have so much to be grateful for.

Kristi :: hey, run is better than no run, right?

Thomasina :: enjoy the game and your time on DM! That’s how I refer to it, too, but I’m going to download some iTreads and see if that doesn’t improve my attitude toward it some.

Shelly :: Oops! I *thought* it wasn’t exactly right to call it a PT cert, but I could not remember exactly what it is. Thanks for the clarification…So, will you be bringing your laptop to LV this time?…In case you don’t check in, wishing you safe travels & strong legs. Can’t wait to hear all about your mary & the trip…wish we could be there!

Jackie :: smiling at the tail end of your post when you described the sore bootay. Think I may be joining you on that tomorrow.

I just finished BOSU Blast (w/ Seasun Zieger—it is on CIA 2604)…Hmm. Jury is out on that one. I want to like it, but I did have a few snafus. My DVD froze up at the 40th minute (it should have run 53 min. sans the core work/stretch) and I left it at that. No doubt the moves were challenging on the BOSU, but I must admit, the choreo got me at times. Out of 40 minutes, I guess it would be fair to say that I spent 10 solid minutes lost and not getting the full pump. Said it many times before, but I'll say again, I *really* enjoy w/outs that I don’t have to invest a lot of time *thinking* and *learning* since it seems I spend my whole day *thinking* and concentrating, and when it comes to my workout, I just wanna sweat and burn. Period. I did think she spent just a tad bit too much time repeating the warmup/1st combo. But overall, I need to do it a few more times before finalizing my opinion on it. So after BB, I did the KM drills – on the BOSU – followed by 2 sets of wall squats (I did 1 min. squat against the stability ball, then a one-legged wall squat for 15 seconds each leg). I think I might be to' up from the flo' up tomorrow. :)

Evening Cheetahs.

I am making an attempt to get all of the personals done tonight even though it's late cause I am not going to be around tmrw. I don't know how much time I'll have to post in the morning before I leave the house and who knows what tmrw evening will bring...

Sunny: Hope you got your stretch in!

Susan: I am so happy to hear that Mary is getting a break from the pain of radiation treatment. That sounds just awful. I had no idea 3rd degree burns were even a possible side effect from it. YIKES! Sending hugs and prayers and thoughts her way for sure!

Kristi: You have a great attitude about your imperfect run. It happens. I had a great run today but have had plenty of not so great ones. Take the good with the bad. That's what makes us human. The fact that we continue to come back for more no matter how many "bad runs" we have is what makes us dedicated. :) You go girl!

Thomasina: Are you gonna post pics of your new work out space once it's complete? }(

Shelly: How was yoga x? Did you do the entire thing? As you may have already read in my previous run, my run was outstanding this morning! Just when I thought I wouldn't be able to put out a good performance, I rocked the house and when I think I should have the energy to knock 'em dead I sometimes struggle just to get in 3 miles! GO FIGURE! LOL When do you leave for LV!? I'm so excited for you! Will you gamble at all while you are there?

Jackie: I STILL haven't tried any of the Slo Mo work outs and at this point I will not be doing so until next year when the X is complete. Oh well. They are getting good reviews so I have something to look forward to. :)

Cathy: YAY for the DOMS! Perhaps this means that mine is on it's way out and heading down to you!:p I have looked at Seasun's work outs time and time again but the description of her choreo intimidates me so I never bite. I hope you get the hang of her work out so you can make use of it.

Alrighty, I'm off to bed now.

See y'all in the a.m.!:+
