Shelly - As I've said before - you're too sweet! The crud will go. I've been spoiled with a very good immune system, so now that I'm more run down due to lack of sleep, etc., this one is striking me with a vengence. *shrugs* I'm hanging in there. I really like the medical group I go to. They are much more into the, "Let's do this just in case", rather than taking the wait and see approach which a lot of people take. I was immediately refered to the top endocrinologist (I did the research - he's a good one) and had an appointment within 3 days. I have never had a doctor who is not very well educated (Stanford, John Hopkins...) and very professional - also fit and trim - they practice what they preach. I wonder who would win if the horses didn't need the vet checks. I'm a science junkie (biology major), so I get into those kinds of articles.

Hi girls!

I hate rest days! I feel like such a slug! ACK! :-(

I am sooooooooo excited! I am borrowing P90X w/the option to buy from a super-duper nice Catheite! Happy Early Christmas to me!!! YEAY!:+ :+ :+ It's not clicking with her and I wanted it so I figure this works out well for both of us! I will also be saving a few bucks on it if I like it and if I don't, I've lost nothing but a few dollars in shipping costs. Can ya get any better than that?

So I'm going out for dinner and drinks tonight w/the girls from work. Talk about adding to my sluggish feeling! Now not only will I feel sluggish, but I'll feel fat too! LOL GO ME!

My knee is still being a pain. It's hurting a bit today. I iced it last night while reading before bed but I woke up this morning and it still hurt. :-( My hip seems to be fine though. (knock on wood)

Well, I have lots to do and very little time to do it so I must get moving....If I don't come back today, I'll catch up with everyone in the morning at some point!

Hi all - I'm back from my appointment with the endocrinologist. My thyroid levels are spot on normal, so all my worrying and symptoms were non-existant - how's that? Funny, isn't it, how the mind plays. He did say I have one of the lumpiest thyroids he has ever seen, and because of that, and the TWO bigger nodules (I have one really big one, and one kind of big one), it is suspicious. But, even if it is cancer, all they do is remove the thyroid and that is that. Oh yeah, and the hormone replacement. Fun, fun. The results will be back in 7-10 days.

He actually did the biopsy right there in his office. It was okay, but not the most pleasant of experiences. It's called a fine needle biopsy and done with no numbing what-so-ever. He took 7 samples. My neck is all red and slightly swollen. It hurt kind of like giving a blood donation does. Actually it feels worse now, then it did when it was going on. It's not too bad though. I feel like one of those cartoon characters who are shot full of holes and then drink water and it comes pouring out through all the holes.

Anyway - just thought I'd check in with an update. At least that biopsy is over with - only one to go!

Good evening cheetahs!

I actually posted earlier today and lost ALL of it. I was so mad that I just walked away from the computer and got lost in my day. Anyway, I did the scrambled egg body max 2 today and it was a great workout! Yesterday I did the LIC leg blaster and then DM cardio blast and that was a great workout!

My sciatica is doing well today and I feel good, except for the 100 m and m's I had today, OOPS!!!

Christine, I am so glad that things are becoming finalized with your thyroid. I think the hardest part about all the health concerns is where your mind takes you. If you are like me you jump to the worst possible conclusion. You have a great attitude. If it is cancer they take it out and you are good as new. I know this has been such a rough couple weeks for you. You are a champion and we all learn from you and your strength. Be good to yourself tonight and curl up with a good cup of tea and a book and oh some cookies, I mean a bowl of fruit(ha ha). I am glad you let us know your outcome today. I purpously came here to see if you came back for a final post. Take Care
