Hi All! I’m back!! Legs are still shaky though! I was dragged to a pilates class this afternoon with the girl from work. We used the ring and I discovered all sorts of new and wondrous ways to torture my legs. Ouch, Ouch, Ouch! Then we used the foam roller on our inner and outer thighs. Oh yeah, need to get me one of those! Now I know why you ladies swear by them! It hurts sooo good. The instructor was telling us how it works you like a deep tissue massage.
Marcia – Congrats to your Boy Basketball team! How fun to go to the States!!! *Cheers on team* Great job on the step class.
Wendy – I know you’ve already worked out, but - *holds white envelope up to forehead* - I’ll bet you pushed L&B off ‘til tomorrow, which I think is a good idea.
Judy – MIA Cheetah – glad you caught your kitty! Sounds like quite the marathon you had to get him to the vet and all!
Gayle – What are we doing, hmm, let’s see. Tomorrow Maja has her placement tests for collage – the ones that determine what math and English classes she should go into. Then we have our Services for Brain Injury charity event that we attend every year (should be interesting with a big Irish Pub right next door!). Then Sunday is just getting everything else done. No worries about the Spinervals – get it out when it’s safe! I’d rather have you posting than the Spinervals DVD! Great job on your run!! Yes, Grace does always know, doesn’t she? I’ve looked behind me a few times to make sure she wasn’t standing there with a whip or something. LOL.
Linda – I had a similar tandem attachment for DD14 (when she was much younger, of course) and we spent many, many hours together. There was a bike trail by my house in Maryland that went into Pennsylvania, and right over the border was a little ice cream shop – every weekend in the summer we’d go for a ride and I’d get her ice cream. Great workout you had today!!
Carole – I never quite “got” the foam roller until today when I used it in class! WOW! I can absolutely see why it’s working now. I want one! Glad to see you running again!
Jackie – thankfully DH travels a lot, so I time many of my purchases to when he’s away. DVD’s are easy to hide. It’s the big things, like a BOSU, that would be hard to explain. LOL.
Jess – I’m with you on the over eating! Sounds like you had a good time!
Kristi – enjoy your weekend with the kids! That sounds like fun actually! Too bad you don’t live closer as I’d watch the little ones for you while you ran.
Shelly – now you’re cracking me up! YES, the Leg blast premix of B&G IS the “Oh no! Not THAT again.” I tell ya, those exercises are deceptively easy, but by the end, you’re that little Chihuahua! I’m not a fan of sitting still all day either! I had meetings. Glad it’s behind you now!
Susan – Enjoy your weekend!!!! Hope Mariah is doing much better! I’ll be thinking of you and I’ll be very jealous!
Have a fabulous weekend Cheetah Babes! And Happy Saint Patrick's Day - one day early!!!
