Good morning all,

i am getting us started and reporting my workout today. spinervals- all sprints!!

have a wonderful day!

I will BBL:)

morning sunny!

i did a CC mish mosh (80 minutes of pure cardio bliss yesterday). today will be a leetle cardio and upper body. either GS CT or GS BSB. then again, maybe i'll just do both GS and no cardio.

Good morning Cheetahs!

Well, I'm happy to report that my foot isn't voicing any negative opinions about last night's run...*doing the happy dance* :D :D! However, I was supposed to do 4DS Back and Biceps and CM#1 but I overslept enough that I couldn't get it in this morning :( x(. That's what I get for staying up and watching "Biggest Loser"...that's way past my bedtime :p. I do have quite the riding list today so that will help and I DO plan on getting the rest in tonight after work. At least they are workouts that I don't need a ton of energy to do and it will be under an hour.

Sunny - Enjoy your workout today! Maybe if iTread loses enough business they'll go back toward longer workouts and more fair pricing?

Lorie - Wow, nice cardio mish mosh ! Have fun with GS today.

Cathy - So nice to hear from you. I hope you're feeling a bit better today!

Okay, gotta scoot and make lunch so I can get off to work. It's going to be a miserable day here with all this rain...YUCK! Hasta luego chicas!

Sunny - you're making me want the All Sprints! I'm going to do part of Have Mercy the first one. I'm so excited to be riding again, although I will be hiding the little yellow handle that Jimmy views as a chew toy. :p Have you done Newport or Steve Maxwell's 300 yet? Curious as to what you think.

Lorie - Oh, I love doing CC Mish Moshes! That one sounds killer!!

Cathy - Hope you are feeling better! I pulling for ya girlfriend! I'll bet once you're done a nice long run will feel incredible!!

Wendy - Glad you were able to run last night without your foot hurting! YEAH!!! No fun with all the rain.

Well, as I told Sunny, I'm doing Spinervals Have Mercy today. I'm thinking that maybe one more day and I can do a some kettlebells - using lighter weights, so I may do one of my workouts tomorrow. :p
I'll be back to post personals from yesterday later! Have a great day all!

Good Morning Girls. :)

Hafta work this morning and then I'll be doin' either a TJ cardio or yoga. I keep pushin' the yoga off-I know-but I'll eventually get it done!:p

Well, no DOMS from y'day's work out. BOOH! I am actually *CRAVING* some DOMS...how sick is that!? :p :7

BBL!

Good morning cheetahs

Sunny...my hip has not need bad. I will try a run again today and as I am back to my old form I am hoping the injuries go away...sounds like you enjoyed Mint Condition!! Have fun with Spinervals today.

Lorie...enjoy your workout today.

Cathy...thanks for checking in, we miss you too!!

Wendi...way to go with the run, yesterday and glad to hear your foot is good today!! Thanks, DH is coming around...:)..we should be getting some rain too, we actually NEED some.

Wendy..just for you below...:)..LOL about you craving DOMS!!

Vegetable Taco Soup

2 cans Ranch Style Beans
1 can black beans
1 can refried beans
1 can whole kernal corn
1 can cream style corn
2 cans Rotel tomatoes with chilis
1 small onion, chopped
1 packet taco seasoning
1 packet Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix (not fat free)
1-2 cups water or broth of choice

Mix all ingredients in your crockpot. Add as much water or broth as you like to make as soupy as you like. Cook all day on low (6-8 hours). Serve with grated cheese and tortilla chips.

Jackie...LOL about the soup...it is a crock-pot recipe that uses many cans of beans, etc. The toughest thing about it is cutting up an onion, otherwise you put all the ingredients in the crock-pot and let it cook on low all day, it is great and makes a lot. Good job on getting in the stretch after the iTrains.

Dallas...Core Syn is a tough one. I don't know if I have seen the Clean Eating Magazine? Sorry about the head fogginess, are you feeling better today?

Kath..I agree that 12 miles on a track can get to you. But I give you high five's for getting out in that NY weather to run! I live in Calif and always run outdoors as our weather is more mild that yours.

Linda...I am enjoying CTX, I even have bicep DOMS!! Good job with the run and the Gilad workout.

Like I posted to Linda I have DOMS from CTX Biceps!! I rarely get bicep DOMS, so I am happy!! Today is CTX tri's, abs, and a 3-4 mile run, If I get home early enough I will squeeze in a leg workout.

Have a great day...:)

Morning Girls :)

I did a 3mile run at the gym. I so can't wait for this snow to go away and the rain to stop. I am happy to report I was able to do my 3miles in 24:10. That's very good for me :) I also worked abs and shoulders today.

Carole: Lucky you on the weather. In NY we never know what the weather will be like. Our summers last one month--or so they say :)

Wendi: I'm North of Syracuse. Very cold and snowy part to be exact :)Thank you for the welcome.

Another girl from the 12 week challenge may be joining your checkin. I told her you all were a very supportive group. She is a newbie to running as well.

Ok I must shower.

I may be back. Have a great *hump* day everyone

:) :) :)

Good morning Cheetahs!

Dallas - Are you sore today? Congratulations on the BF loss! WTG! Did you enjoy your day all to yourself?

Kath - Nice job on the circuits. I'm ready for some nice warm weather myself. Did you get any rain? We had tornado watches for most of the night. It finally stopped raining and it looks like the sun may peek out today. Great time on the 3 miles today.

Sunny - I was shooting for April 1 on the new house. But, I really don't think I will make that deadline. They have put some tile down and started on the hardwood flooring yesterday. Maybe in the next 30 days, I'll be ready. That will give the interest rate more time to drop too. Good workout yesterday.

Wendy - You're loving Mint Condition, huh? How's the shoulder? Are you still doing P90X?

Dallas - Smart little man you have there. Hope you feel better soon. Yes, I do like my Zen. I can download videos on it. I ran with it a few times and decided to stop. Didn't want to damage the hard drive and it was big and bulky. It's probably around the same price as iPod. I bought mine on sale on line from Circuit City.

Wendi - WooHoo on running 4.5 miles! So glad the foot is better. Great cardio rush! Hope the rain doesn't make work too too bad.

Linda - Great job on the 4 miles! Glad you're back on track.

Lorie - Glad you're enjoying your cardio. How's the hip doing lately? Mine has been waking me up some nights.

Cathy - Glad you had time to drop in and say hi. Miss you when you don't post.

Christine - Hope you had a good Merciful workout.

Carole - I will definitely have to try the veggie taco recipe. It looks yummy and comforting. I would cut it in half though. Don't tell anybody but I'd buy the frozen chopped onions so that I won't shed any tears. :) Thanks for posting it. Yay for the DOMS. Have a good workout.

Today's workout was GS Legs.

Happy Hump Day ladies!

Jackie

Good morning cheetahs! My house is a wreck!!  Boxes and unpacked items and painting supplies strewn everywhere. Ohwell!
We actually reserved a moving trailer yesterday so things are really getting serious. We are using a company that supplies you with a trailer and you pack it. We will have it stored in Harrisburg PA until we have a house to move into. Moving date is still set around May 6-8. Had a nice run yesterday and later got in my favorite circuit.. Drillmax:) Back to work tonight but only for one and then I have a nice 4 night stretch off:7

Kristi- I am very happy to hear that your knee is doing better but it did sound pretty serious at first! I'm thinking it may well be better for you to hold off on the 10 miler.... just a bit too soon after this injury.

Christine- Back to the spinervals... yippeeee:D :D You got to be having a big smile on your face while doing this today. Good plan to hide that little piece of your trainer from Jimmy.

Carole- I've got to thank you for referring the China Study. It is quite an eye opener for me. It has very logical and compelling evidence and as a medical professional I love how it is presented.
I deal with the end results of our terrible diet habits constantly as you know but I never really appreciated just how direct this connection was. I'm very pleased that I discovered a cheese substitute the other day that I actually like. It's the Veggie slices at WalMart- pepper jack flavor-- so I can still get my cheese fix;-) Anyway, thanks again! Congrats on the Biceps DOMS... those are very hard to get! (I'm jealous)

Wendy- I was undecided what cardio to do today but you made me think of the TJs and that decided me:) Good day for a fun workout.
I have GOT to go get that issue of M&F Hers!!!!!!

Dallas- Wow, that is some nasty persistant sinus congestion you've been dealing with!! It must make some workout moves difficult I would think. Hope it clears up for you soon. I believe I do have the iBiClimb... haven't done it for a while though. I'm pretty unhappy with their new pricing so I don't think I'll be buying any new ones in the future :(

Sunny- You and Wendy have me convinced to go check out this Mint Condition workout!! Count me in as one who is VERY unhappy with the change over at iTrains... their new prices have me really upset and I'm thinking of e-mailing them and telling them how I feel... probably won't be purchasing them anymore.

Wendi- woooohooooo- back in with the running again!!! That had to have felt great and I am very happy for you:7 :7 :7

Linda- Nice job yesterday with the runs and workouts.... sound like you are solidly back in the groove again:7

Kath- Awesome time on that 3 miles:eek:   You are definitely one speedy cheetah and I foresee lots of age group awards in upcoming races for you!! You do live in a cold part of the country!! Im in the process of relocating from Az to Pa and not looking forward to the climate change (in the winter anyway)

Cathy--- WE MISS YOU:( :( Glad you can find the time to update us and really look forward to when all this is over and you can rejoin us.

I'm looking out the window now at my DH touring the property with his rifle.. We have a coyote nesting on the property and he's after it. Anyway, for today it'll be some fun cardio. I'll be doing ASCII and TJ cardio party.

Hi Jackie- back to the simultaneous posting for us:)
Doing more GS this week? I may get into that series soon myself.

ShellyC

TJ Kick Punch Jam and Ab Jam are done and I feel AWESOME!:+

Time for a shower.

BBIAB for personals chick-a-dees!:*

Okay, I have a little bit o' time left to do personals before "duty calls" again. ;)

Sunny: Hope you enjoyed your Spinervals work out today! I can't wait to hear what's on tap for tmrw. I'm so glad you liked the Mint Condition work out!:)

Lorie: So what did you opt for...a LEETLE cardio or NO cardio? :7

Cathy: HI!!!! You seem much more upbeat lately. Hopefully that's a good sign!:)

Wendi: Glad you were able to get a run in without having any body parts talk back to you for it. ;)

Christine: Hope you enoyed Have Mercy. Just the name of that work out scares the bejeebers outta me!:p

Carole: Okay, now I HAVE to give this soup ago. Sounds yummy! I plan to go food shopping tmrw so the timing is PERFECT!:)

Kathy: Great pace on that 3 mile run! You are a faster Cheetah then I!:)

Jackie: My shoulder is fine. I worked em again today with TJ wearing the weighted gloves and had absolutely no problem at all!:) No more X for now. I mean, I may stick X work outs in here or there over the next 5-6 weeks but I am done with my X+ rotation for now. Enjoy GS Legs! I haven't done that one in ages!

Shelly: So did your DH catch that Coyote yet? So you are going to grab up the M&F hers and try mint condition too? YAY! Can't wait to hear what you think! }( After having so much fun doing my TJ work outs today I am soooo ready to order more. I am trying to hold off one or two more weeks though. Think I can do it?? ;)

wendy-i ended up doing both upper body GS's, then realized i had about 40 more minutes to kill so i did 4ds lis.

WT-keep on keepin' on!!!

wendi-yay for a pain free run!!!

christine-it's a really good mish mosh. it't got all of the long challenges from vols. 5,6 (candace), 7 & PP. i'd be happy to send you a copy. i made another one you might like as well.

carole-we should sub-name you "cook cheetah." you always have such wonderful recipes!!!

jackie-so far, so good with the hip. i'm just afraid once the cortisone shots wear off, it might start hurting again. but...so far quite a few runs with no pain!

shelly-i really like the GS series. you should definitely revisit it!

kath-welcome!

SO, DOES ANYONE KNOW WHEN WE GET TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE NIKE/TIFFANY NECKLACE MARATHON???[/] SO, WHO ACTUALLY SIGNED UP? I DID!!!

Good evening ladies!

I hate to report that my morning-turned-evening workout never happened. I got home waaaaaay too late from work and, as it is, just finished dinner a couple of minutes ago. It's getting too close to bedtime for this Cheetah to workout. I'm actually okay with it because I had a very looooong riding list today and back and biceps are my stongest areas so, if they don't get worked this week, no biggie ;). I will tack on some ab work tomorrow morning to make up for today. I *think* I'm going to do 4DS Bootcamp/LB Circuit and Abs...or should I just do the KB, legs and abs? Hmmmm, choices!

Christine - I hope you enjoyed your Spinervals today! So, how are you gonna hide the new "toy"?

Wendy - You're making me start to eye up TJ...they do look like a blast! Heehee, well my foot was quiet today but my quads and right glute were certainly noisy ;). *That's* exactly why I don't like to run late in the day. I like to run in the morning so I can keep the legs moving the rest of the day and minimize the DOMS.

Carole - Okay, now that soup looks DELISH :9! I will definitely have to try that one...just will have to adapt it to the stove top. Oooh, nice DOMS! Wow, that is some agenda you have for the day. Believe me, I would LOVE to send some of this rain your way! *Off to get my fly fishing pole and see what I can catch in my basement LOL!

Kath - Ooooh, you really are way up there! Great time on your run...you speedy Cheetah, you!

Jackie - I thought about you yesterday when I saw all that nasty weather out your way...glad that it's passed for you. The rain just makes walking to and from the indoor ring kinda miserable but it wasn't too bad today. Great workout!

Shelly - Glad to hear that you only have to go in for one night! Wow, that date is coming up fast! I'm sure you're so on top of everything that your move will go smoothly. Did DH bag that coyote? Thanks...the run felt great, even if it did point out how quickly I've lost condition x(. Some of the "medium" hills kicked my arse but good!

Lorie - Yeah, didn't think you could go a day without at least a leetle cardio, you junkie :p! Great workout! Glad to hear that you're still pain free.

Gonna go pour myself into bed now...I am one pooped Cheetah right now and I have an even longer day tomorrow. Have a great night ladies!

Hey!

Hey Cheetahs! I only have a few moments but wanted to check-in.

Lorie - The lottery takes place April 1st. At least that is when everyone is notified if they were chosen. I signed up. I think Christine did too.

Tonight I decided to try to get in a short run. Let me just say it did not go well at all. I couldn't even run 1/10th of a mile without limping. Instead of my knee hurting, my calf has been hurting for a few days now. I think it is from overcompensating due to my knee problem during the race. I guess I will need more resting for it. My DB will be running my 10 mile race next Saturday instead of me. Oh well. What's a girl to do? Any suggestions on how I should be training now? Should I be focusing on weight training both UB & LB?

Well, I need to get stuff ready for tomorrow. Sorry I haven't been around much lately. Hopefully, I can change that real soon.

Talk to ya tomorrow!
