Evening Cheetahs!
Posh: How cool you are going to Maui. I will look forward to hearing the details of your half! Cold is rearing it's ugly head still. This is a zinger! Believe it or not, teachers are not SO serious all the time!
My students have seen me bust out laughing at times! I am one who is a push up wimp as well and do them girly style.
Cathy: I too have become a weather weenie. A few years ago I used to drive into town (there were lights so you could actually see the road) and run even in the rain and dead of winter. I would bring my school clothes and just take a shower at school and get ready in the locker room. Well, I'm not at the middle school now so thats not possible any more, so I just stick to the treadmill. Now I am accustomed to NOT running in hazardous weather. I LOL about the treat comments! Seriously though, my weakness isn't sweet treats, I love salty stuff. Keep me away from chips, as I usually cave! }(
Hope you get a great EXT workout!
Kath: You must be so proud of your DD!
What an accomplishment!
Judy: You burned some major calories yesterday. I agree with Cathy, that pasta recipe sounds yummy!
Wendy: I have never been to Cracker Barrel. I have seen them before, just never have gone. You got me fired up about people commenting on what you eat! At the middle school, no one said a word about it. Last year when I came to the elementary, there was always this one certain teacher who would make comments all the time like "Do you eat like that ALL the time?" Last year alone she asked at least 5 times if I was a vegetarian and every time I said no, I just like this kind of food. She has even asked me about it this year too! How can you be a teacher and NOT listen to what people say? It drove me crazy to a point that I took some time off from eating in the teacher's lounge. I just wanted to chill and eat my lunch for 30 min. and not have to talk to someone who doesn't listen anyway! There, I'm done! Thanks!
Your workout looks great and nice job with the eating.
Sunny: What is tabatas? Great workouts!
Shelly: You are one fit, fabulous and beautiful lady! That stinks you can't have all your equipment with you. I know the feeling. When I went to Montana for the summer I flew and couldn't take anything with me so I had to join the gym. I sooo missed my Cathe workouts from home! I hope you had a fab 5 mile run!
Carole: I have some questions re: the recipe. Where I live we are limited with products in the grocery store. What do you mean by a can of chili peppers? I can get chipotles, that's it. I do have to drive a half an hour though. x( What size can is it? Thank you so much for posting this. It is right up my alley!
Christine: YEAH on the jury duty! I LOL abour you "dragging yourself into the forums." Thanks for that. I always like a good laugh! Glad DH is sounding better!
Dallas: YEAH for sleep! That really does make a difference. Thanks re: the cold. I am not feeling better, but I will get there. Hope your workout was great! I was wondering where you were!
Jackie: Thanks, keep bringing on those vibes sister!
I am good at enabling myself, so being here has not helped much!
LOL! I have not done the pyramids in a while! Closing is a long process, I hope it goes well for you!
The cold is not good. I was totally planning on running with my friend's son, even though I feel like s#%t. I waited for him for a half of an hour, and he never showed up. I went to the flyshop to pick up Ellie and he was there helping Andy. They got a ton of new kayaks, canoes, and fishing boats today so he needed help moving them all around. This morning Andy woke up and asked how I was feeling and I said "crappy, but I HAVE to run with Joel because I can't cancel three times in a row." I know my Dh and I have a feeling that Andy called him and put him to work so we COULDN'T run today. He could of at least called, but I am not so concerned with that. I have been enabled and purchased a bosu from Amazon today. I am getting it shipped to school so DH doesn't freak out, although, I honestly think he wouldn't because he knows how much I want one. Not only that, but I noticed last night that he bought a new fishing jacket! He has soooo many coats already! He loves coats/jackets and fishing gear like I love shoes and fitness equipment. We need a bigger house!
Have a great evening ladies!
