Sat/Sun: out of town with hubby at an oldtimers recreactional hockey tournement.

This Week
Monday: Power Hour
Tuesday: Rest day
Wednesday: Sick
Thursday: Really Sick
Friday: PS Chest/Shdr/Tris & PS abs & legs standing portion only
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: PS Back/Bis/Abs & Power Max

Debra, I noticed you do a lot of cycling. I'm hoping to put more miles on my bike this year and was wondering how long that 70 mile cycling ride took? Do you track avg speed as well.

I'm hoping to start biking sometime in late April, early May (still rather chilly but I wear mitts under my riding gloves and a headband under my helmet-not a pretty site but it keeps a person warm) Your mileage looks really impressive. The most I've done in one day is probably around 100 K (60 miles)and I haven't done that too often.

Hope everyone is having a good week.

Hi Paulette

Our elapsed time was about 5 hours, riding time was about 4 1/2. So average speed wasn't great but it's hard to keep the speed up with urban riding (stop lights, bike trail traffic, etc) & it was windy. Never seems to be a tailwind!

A metric century is something to be proud of. It took a lot of years before I enjoyed the longer rides.

Hi Kelly! WOW 5 pans of lasagna!! I don't think I've ever cooked up that much before in my life! You had a really good week. Anyway I think I had a pretty good week too considering that I was SO BORED with strength training. Took a rotation from Honeybunch (THANK YOU!) and it took my boredom right away. Anyway here's my week:

Monday: PS chest, shoulders & CTX 10-10-10
Tuesday: PS Legs & Abs (skipped hamstrings & calves)
Wednesday: PS Back & Gay Gasper's 2-in-1 workout (hi-lo only)
Thursday: Felt lousy so unplanned rest day
Friday: S&H Triceps & Biceps
Saturday: Too busy no time to workout
Sunday: Power Workout & Mat Science (1 1/2 hrs.)

Well that's my week! Everyone stay healthy! Kathy

Hi my friends!

Another late check-in! Most everyone's week looks great. For those of you that had some UNPLANNED rest days, keep on truckin'. Sometimes, the body NEEDS those rests! I had a pretty good week although I was dragging by the end of it because I have been spending extra time working on making up new routines for Spring Session. There were a couple days the legs felt like LEAD. Took my normal Sunday off and I'm feeling re-newed and ready to go for another week. My Winter Session is going very well. Having lots of fun at class! Here is my week:

MONDAY~CTX-BACK & BICEPS, practiced routines, taught a Hi/Lo class

TUESDAY~Taught a Hi/Lo class, CTX-TRICEPS(added 12 dips off step with barbell in lap going down 3& up 1) , SHOULDERS & CHEST

WEDNESDAY~CTX-LeanerLEGS, practiced, spin with Jay

THURSDAY~Taught 2 Hi/Lo classes

FRIDAY~Practiced routines for about 1 1/2 hours

SATURDAY~PowerHour, added 30 dips off the step for triceps, IMax!!! Two of my very favorite tapes!!!:7 Was wiped out after! :-tired

SUNDAY~REST, cause we NEED them! :7

This week, I am starting my 4th. week of CTX body parts. I may switch to either S&H or PS next week, not sure which. Too many great tapes to choose from. Have a great week all.

RE: a little late this week

Hi everyone. Sounds like you all had a great week.

Paulette - aren't you glad that cold snap broke? Wow, that cold was getting a bit much for me. I was actually in your neck of the woods last week but forgot to email you and had no way to get a hold of you. Perhaps someday, we should get a few people from close to where we live and get some kind of a "fitness gathering" or workout happening. There are a few of us I am finding.

Anyway, here was my week:

Monday - PS BBA

Tuesday - 30 minute walk on one coffee break and another 15 on the afternoon one. (I bundled up in my ski pants, etc. and braved the extreme cold as I was tired of it keeping me indoors) I consider this day to be an "active rest day".

Wednesday - Step this Way (my first try at this one and it is a keeper)

Thursday - PS CST

Friday - step class in Saskatoon. I was quite disappointed in this "live" class since none of them compared to any of my tapes. Oh well, I will a different gym next time.

Saturday - Cardio Kicks

Sunday - Step this Way (this time with remote in hand and trying to get some of the trickier parts) I did not too badly but there are still some spots I need to work on.

Have a great week everyone.

Kim
