Hi everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful, stress-free week. Now that all the work is done I am looking forward to Christmas. This has been a "better" week for me in a lot of ways.

Here is my week: Shhhhhhhhh, don't tell my chiropractor but I jumped and jumped and jumped and jumped this week. I was feeling very oppressed and depressed with just walking so I pulled out the ol' step and got going! I could not face another day of just walking. Don't get me wrong I like walking everyone once in a while but not every day.

MONDAY: Nothing. Had Christmas stuff to do.

TUESDAY: Rhythmic Step (about 30 minutes) I took all the jumps out of this one.

WEDNESDAY: CIA 2104 Just the step part. This was my first time with this tape and with Gay. I really like her.

THURSDAY: CIA 2104 Just the step part.

FRIDAY: CIA 9806 (1st two combos) and CIA 2104 ( about 20 minutes)

SATURDAY: CIA 2104 I know this is like a broken record but it is a good workout for where I am right now. Not too hard and not extremely high impact.

CIA 2104 would be absolutely perfect if she just did not TIFT sooooooo much. I love the moves and I really like Gay but I will tire of this tape if I do it too much.

I didn't kill my back this week, thank goodness! It actually feels better since doing the step workouts but I still have to watch it and be careful. I guess I will always have trouble with my back but the good news is that I don't have to see my chiropractor for three whole weeks. Yippee!

Thought I'd join Kelly in an early check-in being that the rest of the weekend is going to be soo busy. We are having Christmas here for the whole gang. Hope you all are just about ready. Okay, here's my week:

MONDAY~PS-BACK, BICEPS & ABS, spinal erector work, taught a Hi/Lo class

TUESDAY~Taught a Hi/Lo, PS-CHEST, SHOULDERS & TRICEPS

WEDNESDAY~PS-LEGS & ABS, spin with Jay Blahnik for 40 minutes

THURSDAY~Taught 2 Hi/Lo classes

FRIDAY~MIS, spin with Jay-40 minutes

SATURDAY~IMax-really seeing my endurance level getting better & better with this TOUGH tape since I have added it to my rotation weekly. :-jumpy

SUNDAY~Usually a rest day, but I MIGHT, depending on time, try to fit in something because we are having the kids and Kennedy spend Christmas Eve and day with us. Not sure I'll get a workout in on Christmas Day.

Thursday: Rest

Friday: MIC (I love the fact that I can do this tape in its entirety now!)

Saturday: Power Hour

Sunday: ??? (Got my period yesterday so may just take another rest day)

As I was pigging out on cookies and nacho chips last night, I decided that this was the season to try and not feel too guilty. The only problem is that it just isn't the season these days. I need to go back in time and try to remember how I used to manage just one cheat day (or night as the case seems to be) a week instead of every day.

In any event, here was my week this week.

Monday - Power Hour

Tuesday - rest

Wednesday - Rhythmic Step

Thursday - hi lo from 9905

Friday - Power Hour

Saturday - Happy Hour High Low

Sunday - I think I will do Intense Moves since ideally, I would like to do one interval workout every week to 10 days but that has not quite been the case.

Hey Kelly, maybe when we get back from our trip in January we can start the Weight Loss Checkin again? Hope your back is feeling better soon. I know what you mean, Kim, when you say you want to stick with just one cheat day....I have felt a bit out of control myself and cut back a few days ago. Hi. I decided to try the check-ins as part of my new year's resolution. I havent been a devoted check-in person in the past, but I hope to change that. So here it goes....

Monday....rest (started the week off slow)
Tue...Circuit Max (as a leg workout) and PS LA (floor and abs)
Wed...MIS (upper body and abs)and cardio from BodyMax
Thur....unplanned rest day
Fri...Wedding video cardio (feeling tired)and PS CST
Sat...PS LA (entire tape)
Sun...PS BBA

I plan on doing Cardio Kicks and abs on Xmas Eve and taking Xmas off.

Having computer problems this morning (argh!) so I'll just summarize my week.

legs at gym
snowshoeing
swim drills (3x)
Step-n-Intervals
snowshoe cross-training workshop for runners, cyclists, and triathletes -- 2.5 hours!! :-wow Thought I was going to die by the end. :-tired We did a pretty long loop through the Eldora nordic area as it was, but stopped to do drills to improve lactic threshold, VO2 Max, etc. Needless to say I am hurting today!

Off to the gym to meet with the personal trainer today. She's designing a program to really boost my strength. I will be interested to see what she comes up with.

Hi Everybody!! Things are busy, so I'm going to be quick. Started a new rotation last week, really feeling sore and liking it!! My eating hasn't been the best, ok, it's been awful! Too many goodies! I'm ging to let myself off the hook until Jn. 2 then I'll get back on the straight and narrow with my eating, hopefully;-)!
Ok, here's my week:

MON: SNI cardio only a.m., Chest,back and abs p.m.,taught class.

TUES: yoga a.m. legs p.m.

WEDS: All Step cardio only a.m., shoulders,bi's,tri's and abs p.m.

THURS: Rest day just did yoga

FRI: BodyMax cardio only another rest day

SAT: kickbox cardio only chest, back, and abs p.m.

SUN: today I did yoga and I'm getting geared up to do my legs

Tomorrow I plan on doing 10-10-10 and Shoulder,bi's tri's and abs.

I'm on a 3on/2off rotation. I'm told the extra rest day will help with muscle growth. We'll see........

I really need a weight-loss checkin. I have added a few pounds in the past couple of months. With this back thing going on it's hard to work out hard enough to counteract the eating that I have been doing. I hope to start January 2nd and really get going again. I hope to lose all that I NEED to lose by May since we are going to the beach then. It's possible! I'll look for you in February!!!! :)

The Angel of Christmas "Presents" arrived ringin' my doorbell last night dressed like Deb H! She was out making the rounds and left me a neat gift that I will use when folks come over for my feast of Pizza Hut pizza on Friday. She makes her own cards and other stuff....I can only marvel. Thanks, Santa's helper! We'll try to do something this week before I have to go back to work.

I survived this work week at the church by running on vapors. It has been tough, but tonight it's over. One more service at 9:00 pm.

Thank you, Cathe, for your CTX tapes....the only way I could get in my workouts for the past few weeks. That and PS. So, my check in looks like this:

Sun-Tues. CTX & PS, Wed. rest, Thur-Sat CTX & PS. Simple, eh?
This week with time off and three "pig outs" in 10 days, I am doing some "big" Cathe tapes, like Rythmic Step, Cardio Kicks and Imax. First, however, this morning I have to venture out and buy a gift certificate, cards and some toys (thank goodness for Toys R Us!).

...very WELCOME! I just E-mailed you. I just wanted everyone here to know also that I couldn't believe how nice HB looked last night. I told her in her E-mail that she looked so HEALTHY and trim! Not that she ever looked UN-healthy or fat! There was just a glow about her. When I walked in, she was smiling and look so happy! She had on a vey pretty green outfit. It must be the season and all her hard work. Just thought I'd share with everyone!!
