Happy New Year!

It IS great to get a fresh start! I'm reading Paula Newby-Frasiers book "Peak Performance" again. Quite motivating. Good to see lots of new people along with the familiar.

Mon: Run 30 min (in my new road shoes!); S&H C&B
Tue: New Years ride w/ DH - 17 miles; Yoga for fat loss; abs
Wed: Spinning; S&H L&S; Pilates Basics
Thu: recovery; Tamilee's beg stretch
Fri: S&H T,B & Abs; Trot w/ dogs 35 min; Tamilee floor stretch
Sat: Cycle 22 miles (hilly); Tamilee beg stretch
Sun: Cycle 27 miles w/ DH

Yesterday my stepfather called - it was my sister's 30th birthday and he wanted advice on choosing a fitness gift. We're all worried about the weight she's carrying & more importantly, her health. She lost quite a bit of weight last year before her wedding & did approach it properly. But she's found the weight she lost & then some. Her spouse is supportive & has made his own commitment to fitness this fall in preparation for police academy. I know that she must find the motivation on her own but it's very tough to watch. Hmm, I guess I just needed to vent my frustration.

Honeybunch: This person was a certified PT and RD who claims to lift a lot. However, in reveiwing all of her comments... I really think she just has no patience for overwieght people. She is continually negative.

Anyway...I know in my heart she is wrong. I started a short S&H rotation this morning to work on form. I know that after that, I'll be ready to keep lifting!!!

I'd rather look like Cathe than any other celeb out there!

Hello, I've posted on this forum before, but this is my first check-in!

MONDAY: S&H Chest, MIC(hi/low only)

TUESDAY: S&H Back, MIC(step only) I just bought a full size step last week and it makes all the difference!

WEDNESDAY: S&H Legs

THURSDAY: S&H shoulders, Yoga Zone's flexibility and Stress Release(AAHHHH)

FRIDAY: S&H Biceps and Triceps

I split up the S&H series thinking I would be able to add some cardio afterwards (I was wrong!) I hadn't done slow and heavy for a while and I guess it took a lot out of me. Or, it could just be PMS!

Welcome. If I recall correctly, you do not live too far away from where I do. In fact, I was in PA today on some business. You are right about the weather - it is unreal. However, the salt on my vehicle is crazy. Nice to see you here.

My week was pretty tame and here it was:

Monday - walk 40 minutes in a.m.

Tuesday - rest

Wednesday - unplanned rest but I must have needed it because I slept in.

Thursday - Power Hour

Friday - 45 minute walk with my man and then about 30 minutes of running on my own. I just had to get a run in.

Saturday and Sunday - unwanted rest days but my son's hockey tournament just did not give me any opportunity to even get out for a walk.

Hi Everybody!! I've got to be quick, because I have to go do some kickbox. So here's my week!!

MON: PowerMax

TUES: CTX kickbox and Chest, back and abs

WED: Joy of Yoga and Legs and abs

THURS: CTX Allstep and Shoulders, bi's and tri's abs

FRI: REST/Yoga

SAT: Power Circuit

SUN: Walk in the snow with my pooch and Chest, back , and abs
 
How did you sweet talk the dog into going into the snow???!!!!

Yes, I am still here.....I log in a few times a week to keep up and get ideas for workouts. I also bug Cathe for a question sometimes.
I have been working out harder than ever but since I rotate Cathe tapes in and out of my regular workouts I didnt really feel I was benefitting anyone by posting my workouts. I do enjoy reading others' weekly posts though.
It's been very busy here....Brandon is walking and turns 1 yr old on Thurs. He says "that" all the time, while pointing at anything he sees.
Matthew is almost 15 yrs old and is running track at Broadneck High School here in Maryland.
I will get some pics sent to you if you like...just need to get them into the computer. I am way behind on processing them.
