Cheap Thrill

This week, for the first time in 10 years - I weigh less than my husband!!! (He's 5'8" and I'm 5'3") I know I'm not supposed to compare myself to others, including him....but I feel so good today, I might buy some new lingerie on the way home from work!

Congratulations, Katie! Don't you just hate that the guys have 40% more lean muscle mass! My husband stays lean and trim and does NOTHING while I run and step and lift and still have more body fat! Oh well, I know my insides are healthier and it's a great feeling! Definitely treat yourself! You deserve it!

YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!:)
get the lingerie, treat yourself!:)
And that is soooo good, I only wish for the day I'm weighing less than my hubby! Like Bobbi, my hubby does NOTHING! And loves to snack as well, but is tall and lean and muscular with NO EFFORT, as I work out daily trying to get to my goals! :)
Congratulations Katie :)

I know how you feel! When I married dh, I weighed 30 lbs more than he did (He's only 5'7" and pretty skinny). Now I weigh 10 lbs less than him, and he can pick me up and spin me around!! (He tried to be romantic and carry me over the threshhold on our wedding day, but he dropped me. That's embarrassing!)

Can I ever relate!

It always annoyed me that my husband's idea of exercise was walking to the pantry HIMSELF to get the cookie tin, and he weighed less than I did! I was THRILLED when I finally weighed less! Unfortunately it's not because I lost weight, but that he gained it. That metabolism finally gave up on him. ;-)

Viva' la lighter wives! :)

DH was THRILLED with the lingerie idea! It has never seemed to matter to him whether I weighed 125 or 265 (I've done both). Yes it does kill me how guys seem to be able to lose weight just by thinking about it - "hmmm, I seem to be up 15 pounds" and then poof they lose 15 pounds. Now I'm working hard and doing the shape up for me, but there are rewards and there are REWARDS!

Wow! Great news! Go for the lingerie!
Unlike you, my husband is superduper, uberfit, muscle-bound, endurance athlete extraordinaire. I work out for me, but I also work out just so I can keep up with him! And he's 42! I'm 36. He's been my biggest inspiration other than Cathe. As a matter of fact, every time I do one of her videos, I thank God that my husband and she never met in a former lifetime. I always refer to her as the "female version" of my husband, with a little Arnold S. mixed in there.
