Hope you enjoyed your 4th of July activities. Last night we went to see the fireworks, but that's about it.

This morning I got up and did a lower body weight work out. It had been awhile.

This morning was CCv5. The air was very still with no breeze. I was one sweaty mess by the time I was done.

Amelia: How's it going?

This week is a rest week for me. I am working 3 evenings in a row and feel the need to give my body a rest. If I do anything it is just abd work,dog walk and stretches. Nothing strenous. I am still nursing my foot.

The weather is brutal here. It was over 100 yesterday and expected to reach over a 100 today with 75% or more of humidity. A definite pool day as we only have AC in the bedrooms.

I have a high school reunion in Oct. and I really would like to loose some weight and have more definition on my body for it. So hopefully next week I can start a rotation very slowly.

OKay girls have great workouts and a great day! I need to shut off the computer before it overheats.:eek:

Not sure what workout im doing today, i took it easy yesterday and just walked the dog for 30mins last night.

Decided on doing legs. Did the legs only premix in NYC(kelly meyer) then floor work in L&G. Good workout. I plan on walking the dog again tonight.

Tonite for me is CLX Push Phase 2. I won't do any extra DH is coming home tonite and then leaving again tomarrow so I will spend time with him.

Amelia-enjoy whatever you decide to do. Have you heard from the insurance company yet?
 
Workout done. Decided to get on the treadmill since DH woke up early. A warm up + 30min run + cool down = 40mins and 404 burned.

Roxie-I called the insurance company last week and they said they would have my claim processed by that Friday...no word on it yet. Will probably get a letter stating that i didn't do something right and blah,blah,blah and get denied:rolleyes::mad:
 
Hello everyone. Today I did shoulders, calves and core from 4 day split. Trying hard to get back into some decent workouts. Where oh where does the time go. I just can't seem to fit it all in.

ETA-Just got a call from the insurance company and all is well. Im getting reimbursed on most of my things...yay, of course not what there worth but im still relieved to be getting something back.

Tonite I will make up the wt. work I missed last night DH and I got into an argument so I didn't feel like working out, he leaves again today at noon and won't be home until Saturday so it kind of sucked that we were mad.

Amelia-glad to hear you finally heard something.

Jean-good job with your workout, I am like you not enough hours in the day.

Still my rest week. It is driving me crazy. I can not wait until I can begin again.

Still very,very,very hot here. My house was 90 inside, yesterday. Thank goodness the bedrooms have AC. The dog has been eating ice cubes all day. She barks in front of the freezer until you give her one. Smart puppy!

Time to shut down the computer so it doesn't over heat.

Yesterdays workout was NYC upper body premix + yoga then i walked the dog in the evening for about 25mins.

Not sure what today is, im pretty tired...might take a rest day. Haven't had one this week:)

Elaine-LOL at the dog eating ice cubes, that is very smart. I get antsy too on my rest weeks.

Roxie-Hopefully you and your DH will talk soon, i hate that 'after argument' feeling....sucks.

Tonite for me is to try and make up the workouts I haven't done in the last 2 days. Came home from work last night with a headache and then DD and her DH came over and brought their dog so she could play with the other dog we have so no workout was done.

Amelia-DH is out of town so its alittle hard to talk to him right now but things were better before he left we just need youngest DD to move out again she is causing alot of stress.

Elaine-thanks for the kiss and makeup encouragement.

Morning

I got zero sleep last night. It was about 11pm when i went to bed but wasn't really tired, I read until 1am and still wasn't tired but tried to sleep:mad: just tossed and turned all night...ARG!

Today's workout will be later...a lot later today. Not sure what im doing yet but will come back later to report it.
