Challengers - Week of 6/28/10

Hi everyone. Yesterday was a long work day with no room for a workout. Today I got up and did solid jogging for an hour(no walking). I was going to say steady jogging, but at the end it sure wasn't very steady. I don't know how far I went because I took a different route and my nike+ konked out on me after 2 miles :(. Burned over 700 calories though. It was very humid, probably why the calorie burn was so high. Our weatherman made a comment about the humidity. He said it was "air you could wear" and it sure felt like it.

Elain, glad the foot is doing better. Glad you were able to try out a little run with it.

Amelia, hope the ins. claim is processed soon. What a drag. Hike sounds nice

Roxie, nice work out, enjoy your walk tonight. As for Turbo Fire, I have heard mixed reviews. You might watch ebay and see if someone who doesn't like it lets it go at a good price.

Yesterday I did a jog/walk. At the end I did 3 sprints from CCV5. I think that was a bit too much too soon. My foot hurt a bit yesterday. I just couldn't resist.:(

Today I did AB circuit (plates and weights), foam roller and the Extended stretch from STS.

Morning,

Im trying to find another rotation to do. Yesterday i was skimming all the rotations and couldn't really find anything. I want something this is going to lean me out, particularly my legs. I don't want to build anymore muscle right now,just maintain what i've got. Guess i will just have to make one. I want yoga in there at least twice a week too. I was thinking about something like this:

Cardio + yoga
upper body
cardio +abbs
lower body
cardio + yoga
fullbody
rest

What do you guys think?

So anyway, I've got to go to the tag office sometime today, im going to wait until DH wakes so i don't have to bring the froggies with me;)

No workout yesterday, i just wasn't in to it. Took a rest day and it really helped. I feel pretty good this morning. Today will be a cardio and some yoga...

Elaine-Nice workout today! Hopefully your foot won't give you any more pain.

Tonite for me is another walk and CLX Burn Circuit 3 for the last time.

Amelia-I think anytime you add more cardio then wts. it will help lean you out, but your schedule looks good.

Elaine-take it easy on that foot just walk for now until it is better.

Roxie-Im going to try this rotation until the kids go to shool then if i don't get any results i will switch things up. May join that gym i was talking about. I also started back tracking my calories & exercise on myfitnesspal. Have a great workout tonight!

I didn't walk last nite it was just to hot and humid. This morning I went for a 3 mile walk and then did STS Med Ball Abs. Later I need to make up my wt. workout.

Wanted to lay out in the sun but its not shining cloudy with a chance of rain.

Today's workout is a cardio,im sure it will be step and some yoga, this time im doing Rodney. Probably walk the dog this afternoon too..that was nice yesterday.

workout done. I did 4ds HIS then some Rodney power yoga. My wrist were really hurting during that yoga..weird?

Last night I took the golden retriever to the park for a walk and to feed the ducks. She acutally minded and just laid there watching the ducks as I fed them. She's never been trained for hunting, but she was sure interested in them, LOL.

Today was 4 miles jog. It felt good, but now my hips ache. I hate this age. If I don't work out, my body hurts, if I do work out, my body hurts.
