:-( Well , hi.


I am very down in the mouth and feeling sorry for myself! I had been doing pretty good watching my food intake, however, I fallen off the bandwagon and I've been run over and trampled into the dirt!:-( Ohhh Wo is me! Ho Hum!

So, I guess theres nothing for it but to dust myself off and get back up there. Its hard though, because one day you see results and in a couple of BAD days, those results go flying out the window and I've got to do it ALL OVER AGAIN!

However, I've bought a book! Fat Free Forever. I went on this higher protien no carbs after 3pm diet, after my 8 year old was born and it worked. So I couldn't find my old copy so I went online and bought another, hopefully it'll arrive on Monday.

I hope everyone else is doing great with their exercise and eating plans.
Roxie : I'm hoping you dusted yourself off and will eat better today. Goodluck!
Well now that I've started this thread off so Cheerfully (joking) I shall be off.

Good morning girls,

Im going to copy and paste the recipe from last night just in case some of youse guys didn't get a chance to glance at yesterdays thread!

Today is B&Gs....bbl with personals!:)


Banana Applesauce Bread (Tosca Reno, The Eat Clean Diet Cookbook)

1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup amaranth flour or flour of your choice (I used whole wheat)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar (I used light brown sugar)
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp baking soda
4 egg whites, beaten until fluffy
1 cup mashed bananas
1/2 cup buttermilk or skim milk soured with 1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup raisins
1 Tbsp grated orange zest
Cooking spray

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly coat a 9x5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray and dust with flour.

2. In large bowl combine dry ingredients. In another medium bowl, beat egg whites until fluffy. Prepare soured milk at this time if using instead of buttermilk. Then pour bananas, buttermilk (or soured milk), applesauce and vanilla into a medium bowl.

3. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix until just blended. Fold in egg whites, then add walnuts, raisins and grated orange zest. Pour into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55 minutes.

Serving size = 1/10 of loaf

Nutritional value per serving:
Calories: 211, Calories from Fat: 32, Protein: 5g, Carbs: 40g, Dietary Fiber: 1g, Sugars: 17g, Fat: 3g, Sodium: 34mg

Ive made it twice and its just delish!! I use whole wheat flour all the way!!
 
Good Morning!

Today I have to catch up on missed body parts. I never did fit in bicep work yesterday.To crazy! I did make some turkey soup though so there are a few meals for the next couple of days:) My feet hurt last night when I went to bed and I swear they were swollen!
So todays workout is bics, tris and cardio. I can't beleive its friday already and I am back to work tonight.

Andrea** Try not to get to discouraged. Losing weight is like paying off bills! It takes forever to pay off a cc and you could rack it back up with just one shopping trip! Hope your new plan works for you, Ive never heard of it. I did hear on the Biggest Loser though that low carb diets are only for people who don't do anything.

Amelia** Do you have my B&G dvd? :+ I haven't looked ofr it since. I know I didn't loan it to anyone b/c no one I knows wants it nor do they have the equipment, unless one of my friends came and got it without asking it...i can't see that though. The only one who would do that as been to busy these days.

Alright...i will return later. I don't think I am going anywhere today, only to work!

Good morning, all!

So yesterday I did BM2, the cardio and weights premix. It is essentially everything but the power circuits. I really wanted to get the extra leg work in, so I was planning on doing the power circuits after the kiddos went to bed. I previewed it and it is defective. x( There were some funky parts to the premix that I did, but not enough to interrupt my WO, but the power circuits just freeze up. I am waiting to hear back from customer service.

Today's WO is 4DS BC and KB cardio. I am headed to the grocery store today because we are out of everything!!! My poor kids had dry cereal and sausage for breakfast.

Andrea, climb back on that wagon and get in the game. You can do it. I know it is easy to get frustrated when your results get ruined, but stick with it!

Lori, What bis and tris are you doing? Which cardio? Details, details...:D

Amelia, that bread sounds delish! Thanks for posting it. Maybe I will make some this weekend.

It's Friday Challengers!

I am so happy! No work today or classes to teach! :):):) My workout will be upper body minus shoulders, core and an interval jumprope workout.

Andrea, Definitley don't give up! You can do it!

Amelia, Thanks for posting the recipe. I plan on trying it this weekend.

Becca, That stinks about the premix. I have a problem with one of my players not playing all of the premixes which is a royal pain in the butt. We need some groceries too.

Well I gave myself one more woo is me day and now Iam ready to get going again. Tonite is LIS plus abs. It's cold here today so soup sounds real good.

Andrea- join me in refocusing our efforts. I think I have just acquired too many new DVDs an don't know how to use them so Iam frustrated and confused.

Hi Everyone,

This morning I did 4DS chest/back/bis and tris. I'm itching to some cardio too. I may fit in a 30 min. cardio of some sort.

I have errands to do for my son. He goes on his 8th grade trip next week. They go to Washington DC. I have to pack extra food for him because he has food allergies. My DH and I are a bit nervous. We know he can handle making the right choices..but some of the adults just don't get it.

Andrea: I fell off the wagon and got ran over by it last night. I am determined to get right back on! Are you with ME!

Amelia: When you wrote "youse guys" made me think you are from the Boston,MA area. I use to get tease for saying that slang.

Becca: One of my DVDs use to do that. I realized I had to clean the DVD and my player then it would play fine. I find Cathe's DVDs are very sensitive.

Okay I gotta run if I am going to fit in some cardio.

Already everyone, the wagons are circling. Now everyone grab hold and pull yourself back up. I'm right there with you. I seem to do more dusting myself off then workouts lately. This morning I didn't want to get out of bed and DH got up and got dressed and I asked him where he was going. He said he had to mow the lawn this morning or it wouldn't get done. This made me realize if i didn't get up and get my workout in, it wouldn't get done. So I got up and did a hodge podge of lower body weights.

I did get another 30min W/O in. I did the first two step sections of C&W and then did the first set of walking lunges,deadlifts and firewalkers from B&G. It felt great!

Hey ladies!:)

Im done with my workout, I think my arms will be sore tomorrow. I did PUB/4DS bics and tris,PUB abs and BM2. I was sooo crusty before my workout though and I didnt want to do cardio, I just wanted to *itch and everyone and everything. Not to mention the phone didn't stop ringing while I was workingout. I don't answer it but its still a real thron in my side!Why do people let like 10 rings go in? Hellllllllo...if someone were gonna answer it, they would have done it by now!

Becca** Hope you get those groceries today! Those are alot of mouthes to feed! I hate it when my dvds skip, drives me insane. Hope you get your new one!

Jean** I bet you feel better now that you have your workout done? I love early morning workouts...I just seem to be hungier through out the day which is the downside to it!

I have yet to do my workout but plan on doing it this evening after the kids go to bed....cross your fingers for me!

LOL at you lori,sometimes i will glance at the caller ID to see who it is and the only person that i will pick the phone up for(while working out)is DH. And only during weight workouts,but if im doing cardio,like imax2 or something i won't even look}( Thats what my answer machine is for,LOL!

hey to everybody...those that plan on making the bread recipe i forgot to add that i recently made it with 1tsp of banana extract and it was even better!

Well, I didn't really have a problem w/ getting up today, but every part of my body HURTS (guess those WO have been doing something, eh?). So, I did some yoga to stretch out and I hurt less now. Will get in a solid cardio WO tomorrow (I think).

Amelia, that recipe looks great. DH loves banana bread, so I'll give it a try.

Andrea and Roxie (and anyone else having trouble staying on the wagon) - chins up ladies. WE CAN DO THIS!!! and no one ever said it would be easy.
