Good Morning Fine Ladies:)

Yesterdays workout ended up being a nice long run...17.5 miles which is....10.2 miles..in 95 mins:) Not to bad:) I just figuered that out.Thats a 9.3 mins mile.I also worked shoulders.
Todays workout is abs, bics and prehaps another outdoor run. We have a parent teacher meeting at 4 so I need to get everything done and out of the way before then.
I also took a turkey out of the freezer last night. Im going to cook it for supper but also for lots of sandwich meat and a pot of soup. Im not sure if I will atempt to make a pot of soup today or not.
My belly feels alot better today. I drank tons of water yesterday and I think that did the trick. I can still feel "something" but the bloating is gone.

Hope everyone as a good day and I will BBL!
Lori:)

Morning Challengers,

Need some help fell off the exercise wagon the last 2 days I didn't go grocery shopping this week so after work I have to go an get something for supper and after I fix it all I want to do is sit down. The weather here today is cloudy and rainy boy does that help the mood. I don't take a multivitamin and Iam wondering if that would help my energy level. Sorry to whine just need some encouragement I guess. Tonite is suppose to be the TM. but I might do LIC timesaver cardio instead.

Lori-great workout I would love to be like you.

Kath-have fun on your trip
Elaine-have a good day
Amelia-good workout

Everyone have a good day.

Hi Girls:)

Back from my run. I cut it short today b/c my knee was acting up before I went but the weird thing was...when I started running, the pain left. I think I felt it most when i was home and climbing the stairs. I did wear a different pair of sneaks today so that probably help. Anyway...I ran for 65 mins but I haven't gotten bics in there yet. I may be able to do that when DH comes home for his lunch, providing he comes home at 12 ish.

Ameila** enjoy your workout today! And yes, you do sound a little like me today:+ Im interested in the banana bread recipe, dare to share?:)

Becca** Sometimes it so hard to get your butt out of a warm cozy bed, isn't it? I had a good sleep last night. I didn't even hear DH come home. Hope you get your workout in.

Elaine** Good job with the workout!

Roxie** Alright..this is me kicking your butt into gear}( }( }( Now stop it and get going!!!!! I hear ya on the weather playing a role in your mood, it happens to alot of people and to myself at times. In the summer monthes though, the sun zaps my energy when I am running so I prefer cloudier days. Hope you get your workout in!

DS is still outside asleep in his stroller! Must get lunch ready!

Lori:)

Good morning everyone! I got up (after the cat came by for the 3rd or 4th time) and did the Body Blast Timesaver #5 for legs & abs. I'm FRIED. Legs are already starting to feel sore. Abs were already sore. This IS good for me, right?

Lori - what a run! I can BARELY make 3 miles and I wouldn't call it a "run" either LOL.

Amelia - you amaze me w/ all the abs you do! I HATE abs and am always looking for an excuse to avoid doing them.

Roxie - if you feel like doing the LIC timesaver, then DO IT. I'm not a slave to schedules, especially on days when I don't really feel like WO. Those days I always choose a favorite to get me thru it. My faves are LIC timesaver, KPC cardio premix, 4DS kickbox, LIS, and the step combos from BM2. I keep going back to those time and again.

Hi to everyone else. I REALLY should be getting to work here, so I will sign off. Have a great day! :D

Hi everyone. I finally got a workout in this morning. 3+ miles outside. Work has been crazy and doesn't look like it will be letting up any time soon due to upcoming seminars. So I need to stop using that as an excuse and make sure I get my workouts in. There will never be enough time, if I don't make the time. Also we have been having bad thunderstorms the past 2 nights, but sleep is overrated(LOL) so I wasn't going to use that as an excuse this morning and made myself get up. OK, starting today I'm on a mission. My 25th wedding anniversary is in 6 weeks. If I can lose 10 lbs by then I would be so excited. (and hubby too, wink wink). So I'm throwing away the idea of "Tomorrow will be a better day" when I screw up and instead I'm going to use " Make today a better day" so when I mess up I don't tell myslef "well you already had a cookie so you since you already blew your eating today go ahead and eat whatever" and hopefully I can avoid the binges. I just printed that off and am putting it up on my refrigerator. Wish me luck.

Hope everyone has a great day. I'll try to get back for personals, but it might not be until tonight.

Jean

Hello Challengers!

Quick check in - PY4H quickie premix this morning and I teach TK tonight.
Anyone order Tracey's new ones? I ordered the first 3 she filmed and can't wait to get them; hopefully soon.

Jean, I think that is a GREAT idea - great way to turn it around! You can do it!

Ameila, I'd love the recipe, too. Good workout!

Lori, Nice pace with your run! ^5

Becca, Hope you get your workout in this afternoon. I really enjoy BM2, but typically do a premix.

Elaine, Good job with your workout.

Roxie, You CAN do it! Don't give up; you'll feel better physically and mentally! We all get discouraged at times. We're here to support each other, so do LIC timesaver and ENJOY!

Andrea, Yes, a little muscle soreness is good for you. (I keep telling myself that b/c my arse is so sore from yesterday's workout);)

Have a great day! Tomorrow's Friday - Yippee!!

A friend in fitness,
Shirl

I'm back.

So far my slogan helped me today. I'm craving sweets, but I will not cave.

Lorie, your runs are always so awesome. Are you training for a race or you just love going the distance? Hope your knee pain doesn’t come back.

Amelia, what a great work out for the day.

Becca, hope you got your BM2 in.

Elaine, I’ve not tried cardio coach. Do you like it?

Roxie, I have my fair share of those days. Just regroup. If you prefer LIC over the TM, it is better to do it than to blow off the tm and do nothing.

Andrea, nice job on the fried legs. Hope my slogan helps you and me. We seem to hit the same plateaus even back when we were we on WW. So I’m trying to come up with anything that will get me remotivated and stick ii my head.

Shirl, enjoy your class tonight. Let us know what you think of Tracey’s DVDs when you get them. I haven’t tried any yet. I enjoyed meeting her at the Road trip, but I haven’t been increasing my workout library due to other financial commitments this year so I guess I’ll just have to wait.

Hope everyone else is doing great.

Jean
