Good morning Challengers

Im not sure what we are calling ourselves now-a-days so i threw out some to of the suggestions from yesterday,lol

You girls decide...my vote is either one of the three that i posted!

Todays workout is a cardio with nothing else,i was kinda hungry yesterday and watching the clock all day waiting to eat! That heavy lifting really makes me hungryx( but its oh so fun}( im surprised I have no doms today?????


anyhoot,i hope everybody has a wonderful tuesday! My first challenge was successfull,to go one day with out any candy,drink my water and do my workout...eat clean! so heres to that(raises coffee cup)

Now its on to the second challenge....to continue this success up until saturday,my WI day! and my cheat MEAL day,ive reduced it to a meal,i can't handle a whole day of just eating what i wantedx(

Yesterday was so-so food wise. A left-over cheese danish from Sunday brunch was calling me. My WO was 4DS LIS. Today will be something 4DS, not sure yet, probably HIS.

I've got to hydrate and then get movin'! Have a great day, all!
 
I reread Amelia's post and I vote for The Challengers too for the same reason as Becca. I have 7 weeks left of my original challenge. I still like to think of a new me in 6 weeks though; it's a motivating thought. :)

Amelia, Your children are too cute! How old are they?

Becca, I had some food calling me yesterday too. Today is a new day and we're going to do great.

My long term goals are to decrease bodyfat and increase muscle mass. This week's goal is to not give into food temptaions. I need to ask myself if that is going to get me closer to my goal; if not then I need to pass.

Good Morning Girls,

No preference on the title just need a place to check in. Todays workout will be LIC timesaver cardio blast. Eating was very good yesterday, eating better is also my goal I do great with exercise.

Brkfst.-protein pancake and grapefruit
AM snack-yogurt and banana
Lunch-chicken salad wrap with lettuce and a salad
PM snack-bagel and NPB with an apple
Supper-turkey meatballs and brown rice with veggies
LPM snack-protein shake

Hope everyone has a good day. If I post my meals it keeps me accountable.

I like the name Challengers, also.

Yesterday was a good day for me.^5
I didn't eat those jelly beans on the counter.:)

This mornings workout was 4DS legs premix and shoulders.
I love the 4DS but I am not real good about doing cardio and weight training in the same day. So, I am spliting them up.

My goals are similar to Shirl's. I want to decrease bodyfat especially from the waist down.x(

Good morning everyone. I vote for "Challenge Yourself" or "The Challengers". Since we are all on different time tables for when we start, it makes sense not to list 6, 12 or whatever in the title. This week's focus for me will be to just maintain(both my eating and my sanity). I still have sweets in the house from Easter so I'm going to try to only eat a few in moderation. I will take measurements this weekend when I get some time. This week will be tight on time, because I have got to finish up my taxes so squeezing in workouts is going to be a little hard. So maintaining will be my goal and then next week, I will hopefully kick it into high gear.

Gotta get to work. I hope to check back later.

Hi Girls!

Yesterdays workout was a challenge in itself (thats all I really followed!) I did 13.1 miles on the TM! I was feeling good though. I watched the movie, "gonebaby gone" and although I didn't give it much hope in the beginning, I really enjoyed it!

Ameila** You kids are sooo cute! What pretty little faces! Good job on making it through yesterday. I to love the heavy lifting and can't wait to get back at it nex week. I think my body needed a change!

Shirl** Did you get those kiddies up? LOL DD is at my moms house so I don't have to worry about her this week.

Roxie** What are your goals for the new challenge? What rotation are you following now?

Elaine**Good job on the workout today, I have yet to do mine.

Becca** How have you been? Seems like I was MIA most of last week and I have some catching up to do.

Todays workout is BM2. Im hoping to get it in shortly and then take DS for a little walk. Its kind of mild outside.

Just popping in to report my workout-did imax2 premix #1. Man,Cathe is fearless in that wrokout,LOL! I haven't done it in a while and boy oh boy did it get my heart pumping:+ I almost continued onto interval 6 but then i said.....NAAAAA }(

Lori-thank you:) How is the scale treating ya these days? mine is being a great big meaniex( Alteast im focused agian on my diet! Congrats agian on your workout yesterday,WOW :eek:!How is the movie gone baby gone? i didn't get to watch it when dh rented it!

Elaine-Good job on avoiding the jelly beans yesterday...the chocolate covered marshmallow bunnies tried to lure me in,LOL.

Shirl-I like the way your thinking! I will also ask myself"is this going to get me closer to my goal" everytime i eat something. Ive been pretty focused so far with my eating,ive never really had a problem with the workouts,just the eating-it always gets me!Thanks for the compliment on my kids,dalton is 2 and elizabeth is 6!

Becca-How was HIS 4DS? I still don't have that series yet x(! It will be mine one day;-) And thanks for the compliments on my babies! i do have some good news..my sister may keep little gracie:) she keeps changing her mind?? have a great day!:)

Done with BM2..what a goodie!

Ameila** My scale is staying pretty much the same. No surprise there and it actually is a nice releif b/c from Thurs to Sun my eating was allll over the place and i ate more then I needed.
The movie was good. I was surprised b/c it didn't seem that interesting in the beginning AND I didn't know any of the actors.I rented it on PPV and recorded it with the PVR so DH can watch it. Have to get my $6 worth ya know! LOL

Ok "Challengers" here we all go on our own journey to a better YOU!

I had two awesome classes last night and pushed them to a new limit for most of them :) This morning we did intervals and everyone did great, they are all doing so much better with their form and endurance I'm very proud of them.

Tonight I have Turbo Jam Cardio Party and Turbo Jam Ab Jam on tap. I'm rested up from this morning's class and ready to go!

We are expecting another winter storm to come our way x( I'm so sick of snow.....

Hey Girls :)


Glad to see some have returned and welcome to the newbies. I'm on day two of my second 12 weeker. I mixed up rest days and my long runs are now on Thursday. I so can't wait for this snow to go. I swear I have some glaciers at the end of my driveway. The banks are killers to see over.

Today's workout was a 4miler and GIANT sets for shoulders and coremax for abs. Tomorrow's workout is circuits again.

I may be back laters for more personals. I am a$$ high in laundry duty right now.

Lori, WTG on the HM!!! That is awesome! Do you plan to run in a race at all?

Amelia, good news about your sister! I will continue to pray for her. I'm sure that she will make the right decision. I LOVE 4DS. It should definitely go on your wishlist. :) The choreography in HIS is challenging, but I am getting better at it. I have two left feet and even the warm up trips me up now and then! I love the whole series though. Very effective and very challenging.

Marcia, more snow?!?!? Good gravy! How do you like the Turbo Jams? Are they tough?

Kath, I made your yummy meatballs today. :9 The pasta is still boiling and I've already eaten my dinner. Couldn't wait. I just ate them with a little sauce. Delish! I have the same pile of laundry in my house.....

Very vert Late posting, will post again tomozz. 6 weeks is perfect! I ran out of posting steam towards the end of the 12 week challenge well if I am to be totally honest, I didn't get results and I got disheartened. (my own fault eating let me down)

So, like Roxie, I'm back and fresh to go.

Hey Everyone,

My goals for this challenge is to lose 10lbs. eat cleaner and stay with my exercise. I am currently doing a rotation that Lainie made up for me an then I plan on doing the June of 04 rotation. I bought a high step and haven't used it yet, instead of doing the basic step in that rotation I will do Low Impact Step. I bought body max 2 should be here Friday. I have all of these dvds but don't exactly know how to put them altogether. This week there is not enough ab workout scheduled so I will have to work that in.

Andrea-everything is going good for me, thanks for asking and Im glad to be back.
