Hello, first I loooove Cathe, her workouts are the best but has anyone tried doing this workout - ChaLean? I here it's pretty good, it a 3-month program (like Cathe's STS). I've done STS and it's fantastic but I was just wondering what the opinions of other Catheites are regarding ChaLean. Thanks.
 
I have and am doing CLX and I LOVE it! It's so much fun!!!

CLX work outs are short and to the point. They get the job done in 27 to 45 minutes per work out which is especially great if you feel like adding on. I am in the 2nd week of the third phase (Lean). I think I will also do the 4th phase (Lean for Life) which I gather is optional. I think it'll be fun to mix up all of the work outs like that.

I am definitely getting stronger and now that I've got my eating under control I am seeing awesome changes in my physique! Leaner and more cut! YAY! :)

I just bought the deluxe dvd which has 3 more work outs on it for variety...one cardio, one interval and one ab. I didn't buy it with the original set but I should have! I just didn't know if I would want/need it but her other work outs are so great that I wanted to try these too!
 
I love CLX but keep in mind if you are a die hard Catheite as in you always compare other instructors to Cathe, this may not be your cup of tea. Chalene is VERY different from Cathe. I used to do all Cathe all the time but in the last couple of years I have really branched out and now appreciate the "differentness" of various instructors. I think if I ate clean, I'd have the best results with the CLX program. It is a very different program and once you get the moves and use good form and figure out your maximum poundage, it is tough! It was the first rotation I was able to stick to in a long time. I'm now into kettlebells and on an Amy Bento kick but I plan on revisiting CLX.
 
I was thinking about getting CLX. I have all her other workouts and wondered if this one would be challenging. How is the eating plan with this one? I'm currently doing P90X and am loving it. I've incorporated my own cardio though. Are there any coupons or discounts for CLX?
 
Cathe is the best, hands down, but I like variety too. I'm loving Chalean Extreme. I've been doing the weight work in the morning before work, since they are so short, then doing some kind of cardio (mostly running lately) in the afternoon and the non-weight days. Between the extra workouts and finally cleaning up my eating, I've finally reached my goal weight. I don't have STS yet ($$) so I can't compare, but I really like the CLX series.
 
I am really interested in CLX too ! I am thinking after STS , it might be a good thing to do ........
Does anyone know of any coupon codes or an idea where the best deal on it is ??
I have seriously overspent on fitness equipment already this year :eek:and am trying to find a steal on it !!!

I started CLX because I did not have STS yet. I think it was bad timing for me because I was in PT for sciatic issues. It flared my sciatic stuff really badly. When I stopped it, I got better. STS has not done this, and I started Meso 3 yesterday.

I think I am going to try CLX again after STS, because I am much, much better now and perhaps my body can handle it better.

Chalene is different than Cathe, but she was fun, and I enjoyed it. Now that it is nicer our, it will fit with me wanting to bike to work, which takes extra time in the morning.
