Cereal

In your opinion what is the best cereal out there that is the least processed? I'm growing tired of oatmeal, eggs, and cottage cheese.

I eat a LOT of cereal! My favorite is Kashi's Blueberry Harvest. Right now, all the (Kashi) boxes have a "but two get one dollar off" coupon stuck on the front. I buy about 6 boxes at a time anyway, so this is a great coupon for me!

Kashi Cinnamon Harvest and Blueberry Harvest and the Vanilla one too - all delicious, and even can find them on sale sometimes!

I do like the Nature's Path bars when I am on the go - like the ChocoPeanut one, not too sweet :)

I really like Post Shredded Wheat Honey Nut with Almond milk or Greek yogurt.

I also really like Barbara's Bakery Puffins cereal, which comes in several flavors. It's very expensive but I have enjoyed all the varities I have tasted so far.

I like my homemade granola bars. There are some good recipes on here somewhere. I also do protein shakes (I do admit I feel like I'm making the same post here that I did on another thread.) I do not do cereal real well, I find that it doesn't have enough protein to cut it. If you do gluten, how about Oroweat Double Fiber Bread with a little coconut oil (instead of butter) and a sprinkle of cinnamon/sugar. Its like cinny-toast but will stoke your metabolism all morning. The other thing I like is double fiber bread, 1 slice spread of PB, the other 1/3 of a banana sliced thin. Its like PBJ but just PBB. Its handy (good in the car) and has more calories than cereal. I do like puffed Kamut with some nuts. I forget the name brand, it comes in a small plastic bag. Its also a great substitute for popcorn at a movie. Its not the same, but it is crunchy, has a pleasant flavor and is very low sodium. I'm watching sodium these days.

I like all varieties of Kashi and Nature's Path. I also love Babara's Cinnamon Puffins :p. Another go-to breakfast for me
is cream of wheat with 1/2 scoop of protein powder and almond butter :p. I love breakfast :).
