Cellulite!

Hi Cathe (and/or anyone else who would like to have an input),

I am 21 years old, 5'5, and weigh approximately 121 lbs. I have a small frame.
I have quite a lot of cellulite on my legs, and admittedly, this past year I have been fairly sedentary in terms of exercise.

I was just wondering what you have to say in regards to how exercise affects cellulite. Will it make a big difference for me, or is my cellulite inevitable, regardless of whether I exercise or not??

Thanks :)

Not Cathe, but from what I understand, there really isn't a "cure" for cellulite and despite all of your efforts, you still may have some puckering on your lower body. BUT, there are ways to diminish the appearance of it, namely through training your lower body with cardio and strength, and eating clean. I'm pretty sure cellulite is an effect of inflammation of the underlying tissues, so if you stay hydrated, limit processed foods and sugar, and workout, the effects will show. The key is to do all of these and not just rely on exercise alone.

Good luck and HTH!! :)
