I am a new fan of the Cathe tapes. I just received my 1st. 4 tapes this past week (MIS, MIC, INTERVAL MAX & STRONG LEGS & ABS.) I love them (even though I am having a bit of a time learning the coordination of step as I have never done it before.) I workout faithfully (and have for years) 6 days a week. I am 47 and have noticed a lot of cellulite develope this past couple of years. I know it is next to impossible to get rid of it, but does anyone have any suggestions on making it look better as bathing suit weather is right around the corner.I am really hoping that the Cathe tapes will give my body the shock I need to give my metablolism the change or boost I need. Any suggestions would be appreciated and it is so great to have all you NEW FRIENDS out there to talk to! THANKS Cathe for such a great website and congrats on your new little miracle!!

cellulite

Hi Debbie and welcome to the site. I'm glad you are enjoying our company and making new friends.

About your question regarding cellulite, the amount of cellulite one has is believed to be hereditary. While it may not be possible to totally rid your body of it, there are things you can do to improve it.

The four tapes that you have should definitely shock your system. If you ever decide that you would like to order another tape, I would also recommend/suggest that you add BODYMAX to your collection. This is another "shock your metabolism" tape that features crosstraining too.

Be faithful to your workouts. Since you are an advanced exerciser, I would suggest that you do each of these 4 tapes that you have on a weekly basis(each tape one time per week). You can also incorporate any other cardio activity that you enjoy on the other days. Alternate a strength training day with a cardio day. Also, always listen to your body. If on any particular day your legs feel heavy,(like lead)make that an off day. It is best to keep your workouts to 5 or 6 days a week, always allowing for atleast one day off.

It is very important that you also eat a very healthy and low fat diet enriched with vitimins and nutrients. Be sure to eat enough calories to support your energy output too. Not eating enough food per day will surely backfire on you so be sure to eat about 5 to 6 smaller nutritious meals per day. Also drink plenty of water and get quality sleep.

The best advice I can give you is to stay focused and consistent with each and every workout and each and every meal(but remember we all cheat a little now and then

). Good luck with everything.

Thanks for the well wishes too. We are doing great!

Thanks Cathe!

I will really try to stay focused. I do not have ANY trouble staying focused on my exercise, but I do with my diet. I am going to try REAL hard. Thanks for all the good advice. I printed it out and I'm going to read it daily. Thanks for getting back to me so soon and welcome back!! DEBBIE (P.S. I also ordered BodyMax like you suggested and 4 more tapes! I can't wait to get them. I will definitely be crosstraining!!)
