The butt fat threat got me thinking, I'm curious the state of cellulite for you fit ladies.

Hope I've included all the choices.

I have a small amount on my butt, that is sloooooooooooowly going away. It's funny how it takes its time to get off! I'm being very patient though and know it will eventually be gone.

OMG! You're human! I'll keep your little secret!;-)
Personally, I only eat watercress soup and I'm airbrushed everyday before I leave the house.

I worked hard to get rid of the little I had 7 months ago. I stopped drinking Coke started drinking water and started exercising to Cathe. I am thankful for my Fathers genetics I had 2 pregnancies both c-sections and even my doctor has commented on how you can't even tell. No stretch marks.

"Don't hate me because I'm cellulite free"

Honestly, as soon as my hubby sits down with me and teaches me how to use the new digital camera I will post pics. The ones I tried on my own linked all my ebay photos too don't think you care about those.

One of my marathon coaches has it. She is super thin, super fit, ran about a 3:12:00 marathon on a very hilly course. She could stand ankles touching and you could see daylight all the way up. I am sure strength training would help, but my point is that even thin, fit women are plagued with it. Genetics, mostly!

The best thing you can do is stick to your workouts and drink lots of water to flush the toxins out of that area.

I do, especially after losing 150 lbs. I just have some stubborn areas that around for the duration. Oh well....

I do , but it is getting better. I think it has alot to do with how thin your skin is.You don't see it any where near as much on younger kids that are chubby.
Some people can see it better than others. As i keep working out it seems to be diminishing a little at a time...
Oh well just keep at it.
Sommmmmmmmmmmmmdddddddddaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy we will be dimple free

The back of my left leg still has a tiny bit on it, but my right leg has always been much toner. It is just the way fat is deposited, like someone else just said.

I am definitely prone to it...you should see my mother! Any way, my butt used to look like a large head of cauliflower, now it just looks like a small head.
I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact that it will never go away, but that's going to stop my from trying!
Neither is it going to stop my from covering it appropriately and tastefully (not letting it hang out!)

Congrats on the 150# loss! That's awesome. I am working up to trying to lose about about 80#, 63 down.....

I have a little bit, not sure how noticable it is, I don't have a full length mirror. I am my worst critic so it is probably only me that notices. Since I have cleaned up my eating I am not so bloated all the time which helped make it less noticable.

I have it. x( My mom has it and so I'm pretty sure it's genetic. My sister is really skinny and she has some too, but not as easy to see. I saw a picture a couple of weeks ago of Courtney Cox and she has it on the front of her legs even - and she's skinny! I think the comment about the thin skin is true. I've always felt that way. I drink tons of water and still have it. It only gets better if I eat super, super clean and work out like a maniac (which I try to do anyway).

I also agree with us being our own worst critics and DH and my friends say it's not nearly as bad as I think. Hardly noticeable, they say. Yeah, right! :)

I voted for "Small amount - only I notice it" based on what others *tell* me when I complain about how you can see my cellulite. They say "If you hadn't mentioned it I never would have noticed it and have never noticed it until now, but now that you mention it, yeah, you do have a tiny bit".

However:

If I was voting based on the way *I* feel about my cellulite, it would have been "Yep - I've got it but not all over".

So...who really knows? We really are our own worst critics, aren't we? We notice every little pimple, ounce of fat, bad hair day, and other tiny imperfections on ourselves that others may never pick up on. Just human nature, I suppose.

I notice when I went to try on clothes in one of those "bright light" dressing rooms at the mall. Now, i wear shorts right above the knee.

Thanks everyone. Looks like I'm far from alone!

I've gotten lots of the longer shorts this summer - it's a dream come true fashion style.

Pinky you look FABULOUS!!! Wow your spring 2006 pics are AMAZING. WOW!

Debbie - CONGRATS on the 150 lbs! That's awesome

Kila - Ha! I can SO relate to the bright light stores. Our sports authority is like. I went to buy work out clothes and NO WAY after the BRIGHT lights... Ha - I wonder how much more they would sell if they had better lights!

So it really is genetics I think. I'm 5 2 and 112 and certainly have it so not overweight. My DD is now blaming me already - "thanks Mom now I'll get it."

Pinky - what have you been doing for workouts pPLEASE tell!

Beth --- ok you have to post now so we can see one of the 3 cellulite free people on here ;)
