Okay, you all are making me cry. Thank you so much for your kind words! As Jes said, my doctor has given me the all-clear to resume normal life. The placenta had started separating from the uterine wall when I was at 10 1/2 weeks, and it has taken 9 weeks for the tear to heal, and for the blood that pooled in the uterus to dissipate. I had an ultrasound yesterday that indicated that the placenta has healed, and everything looks great. The baby looks really healthy, too, and we learned that we are most likely having a girl

I was tempted to name her Cathe, but I think we're going to go with the family names of Kathryn (Kate) Evelyn.
I did my first workout in 9 weeks today: Basic Step. There have been a lot of physiological changes over the past 2 months, so this workout felt more challenging than it used to! I'm so pleased Cathe put out a beginner series.
I really missed this group, too! I had to stop reading your posts because you all make working out sound like so much fun that it was torture to have to refrain

This is a terrific group of people, and I look forward to connecting with you all again.
Cheers!
Sandra
