You know, I was thinking today... have we ever actually dedicated this workout to COACH SEAN? If not, maybe we should! Seems like he might be going through some 'stuff' in his life right now.

What does everyone think?
 
I'm in and I LOVE your idea to dedicate the workout to Coach Sean!!! I'm including Gin, and anyone else in need, too!! ETA that I'm dedicating my workout to the Birthday girl, too. That's YOU, Shelley!!!! :D

What are we doing for a bonus add on!? Would someone like to choose it? I think Cynthia wanted a challenge from Volume 8. I've had a terrible cold with a cough so I may not be up for an extra challenge, but I'll do my best. ;)

V1 CH 1 - 6:00 - (6) :20 level 3 hills | :40 recovery

V1 CH 3 - 3:43 - 3:00 level 3 trek (fast climb) + :20 level 4 effort to finish

V2 CH 2 - 8:24 - 3:00 level 3 hill climb | :15 recovery | 3:00 level 3 sprint

V2 CH 3 - 8:39 - (4) level 4 :45 treks (fast hill) | 1:00 recovery

V3 CH 3 - 2:56 - (4) :10 level 4 sprints | :30 recovery

V4 CH 1 - 8:15 - 2:00 level 3 sprints | :30 recovery | 2:00 level 3 hill | :30 recovery | 2:00 level 3 sprint

V4 CH 2 - 7:56 - 1:00 level 3 hill | 1:00 level 4 hill | :30 recovery | repeat 3 times

V5 CH 2 - 9:36 - (6) 1:00 level 3 sprints | :30 recovery

Woah, that came up quick! I'm in. I agree, Coach Sean could use some good vibes. I'll also give the extra challenge a go. Should I say that before I know what it is?:confused::p

I think V2C2 looks fun. 3 min hill, then 3 min sprint. But I think I'm the newest one here to the CCPP party, so I don't think I should get the priviledge of picking.

Maybe we should ask Sean which challenge he would like since we're dedicating it to him! What do you think about that?

I was just thinking yesterday that I would love to do the Vol 6 challenge 1 as an add but I will go with whatever the majority decides. Kind of funny, for a while I couldn't really warm up to vol. 6 but now that I have done it a few times I love it as well. Go figure :eek:

I think it would be a great idea to dedicate it to Sean this time around, seems like he faces some challenges these days. I will also dedicate it to Gin, Lori (Laughing_Water) and her DH who starts his cancer treatment this week, BeckyL's DH Mike and everyone who is going through challenges in their life.

Let's ask Sean. And hope he picks the two 8 minute treks from Vol. 8, cuz then I can go to his house....;)
And then I can go with ya! LOL!!! :D

Do you want to ask him since it was your idea? We should make sure he knows we don't want him to make us a special challenge. ;)
 
I'm in, but no extra challenges for me.... we're going roller skating Saturday night. I'll be thinking about Coach Sean and all of my Cathe friends, of course.....

Volume 6 is one of my very favorites Carola!!! Coach Sean is so encouraging in that one! I am glad you are starting to love it too :D

Carola and Mary, the 1st challenge from V6 ranks right up there with the 1st challenge from V7 as my favorite. I honestly don't know which one I love more.

I'll be adding Becky's DH, Lori's DH, and Carola to my dedications.
