The bonus this month is a sprint challenge -- WOO HOO!!! (I know Shelley will be thrilled :p :D). So if you need to burn off a few extra holiday calories, add Challenge 1 from Volume 3 to your playlist.

I'll be dedicating my workout to my dear brother and his family, who suffered an unimaginable loss on Dec 27 (the last PP Saturday) when my dear niece died. This one's for you, Tony.
 
Michele!! I'm in!:D As I went to bed last night, I looked at the calendar to verify that Saturday is the last one of the month and figured this thread would arrive today - can't wait for Saturday...and of course, the added challenge!

Off topic here, but did you get the Butterfly seat??
 
Shana, yes!! I ordered the Terry Butterfly Ti seat but it won't be in for about 10 days. My bike is at the cycle shop for a tuneup. They're going to put on a training tire and hook up a computer, too. I'm kind of bummed because I wanted to do part of the PP workout on the bike but I won't have it back by Saturday. :(
 
I'll be in on the CCPP. I haven't done a challenge yet and doubt if I'll add one on this time either.

Ha! That's why my bike has not yet made it to the shop...I don't want to part with it! My exDH knows how to do that stuff so I may take it over to him for a quick turn-around! These are the shorts I wear...www.harlotwear.com. They have padding but not like regular bike shorts. When you wear them, you don't look like you have a diaper on :eek: I have the Olivia and the Scarlet X. The Scarlet X is a bit more of a relaxed fit and longer. The Olivia is not short by any means but is shorter and tighter, but the fabric is lightweight and great for spinning. You may not need shorts for rides less than 30-45 min but if you go over that, you may want some. I did a two hour ride on the trainer, got off the bike and ordered my shorts :) The rubbing of the seat on my inner thigh was what got me.

Now, back to PP Saturday!!!

I'm in too! I just did Volume 3 this morning and Challenge 1 was fun! I will be thinking of your families too Michele and JJ. I love CCPP, b/c it just gives you time to think and reflect during the steady states.

I'm in...for both PP and the additional challenge! My workout this Saturday will be dedicated to the family of a dear friend of mine from high school. She recently passed away after a long battle with breast cancer...at the young age of 35.

I am in!!! I need some good heart pumping leg pounding cardio .. and Sean is the plus!;)

I too will dedicate my run to those of you who have lost loved ones or are facing challenges in your life!!!:)
 
Did I hear someone say a spring challenge? I'm in! I've had it on the calendar for months.

I'm dedicating to everyone who is going through a tough time right now. That just seems to include far more of you than it should.:(

Can I join y’all? I do not have Press Play yet, but I am walking my first 5K Saturday morning on a very hilly course and taking Coach Sean with me (original Volume 2 and Volume 3)! I am dedicating my workout to your family, JJ’s family, Ellie’s family, and my little friend Darcy. She is 4 years old, endured over 10 hours of surgery last Friday to remove a brain tumor near the stem, and is facing a year of treatment. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as her family has already been through a challenging year before this hit (and I know you understand that). Here is a pre-op picture of this precious little girl:

It was a blessing in disguise when she fell and hit her head at school, which resulted in tests that caught this while it was still operable!

Heather, of COURSE you can join. You don't have to have the actual PP workout, although I hope you'll get it one of these days because it's SO good!!

I'm very sorry about your precious little friend, but happy that the problem was diagnosed early. She's a beautiful little girl and I'll be sure and add her and her family to my prayer list.

I will join in for CCPP Saturday. I am not decided on which day to do it yet. I did a large number of 1RM exercises for legs today and I am already sore. :confused::confused:

I will dedicate this month to Michele's FIL, Becky's MIL, Heather's friend Darcy and all the intentions of the CCPP friends here. Bless us all.
 
Hi there! I'd like to join in as well. I will dedicate my workout to anyone and everyone who is dealing with loss or suffering in some way, as well as to a colleague of mine who I found out today is losing his long battle with cancer. It all puts things in perspective!!

I'm in. Don't think I will be able to do the extra challenge, though. I'm still getting over my cold, and I haven't worked out much this month because of what's been going on here. I will be dedicating my workout to my mom, who died of breast cancer a couple of weeks ago.
