Cathe's October Rotation Check-In (Oct 23 - ???)

Did Slow and Heavy Legs and Shoulders. Enjoying the slow and heavy this week as I haven't done these very many times so are still "new" to me. I'm thinking that even though I preordered on the very first day since I'm in Canada I probably won't get the new dvds till end of next week. I'll plan to do the CTX series starting Monday for the week. Also a series I haven't used much so they still feel "new". That will keep me busy until I get the new dvds. I wonder if Canadians will get the "surprise" . Kim
 
Yeah, no confirmation for me either, but that's fine by me! BUT....I'm trying very very VERY hard to not read any posts that talk about the "surprise". I really want it to be a surprise when I open my box! LOL. I'm just so tempted yet very afraid when I open other posts to read! LOL

Have a great night. I'll be up early tomorrow for S&H tris and bis. If time allows, I may add a run in just for kicks!

Good morning. It's Saturday and POURING rain in the North East here. WOW! I've got DS's BDay party today and the original plan was to spray paint the backyard into a football field and let the boys play football for 3 hours. But, the wheather forced me to change my plans. We are heading to the YMCA to swim for 2 hours and then back to my house for presents and stuff.

OK....up early for today's workout, which was S&H Bis and Tris, with the abs. I was going to add a few miles, but decided against it.

How did the birthday party go? Did the kids enjoy the swimming>

I went to mom and daughter aquacize class with dd6 and did the S&H biceps and triceps. Anyone have their new dvd's yet? Kim
 
It's Sunday now. Is everyone finishing up this rotation? What did you think of this rotation?

I finished up with Rhythmic Step this morning. I enjoy this vidoe as it seems to go so quickly but for some reason this morning my mind kept wondering to work related issues and without the concentration I kept missing steps and getting frustrated. Still got a good workout in.

I did all the scheduled workouts this month except I skipped one PLB but I did add in some extras stuff like some of the runs I did a little longer and every Sat. I do the mom/daughter aquacize class.

My plan is to do the CTX series this week as I don't expect my new dvd's till end of the week. Then maybe I'll rest a day or two while I'm previewing the new dvds. Hopefully I can start the Nov rotation next week? What's everyone else's plan for November? Kim
 
OK...it's Monday now and we all should be done with this rotation, right? I did all the workouts too, except the very last one! LOL. Took a rest day yesterday and slept in late this morning.

I'm all worn out from Birthday parties. I love that both my boys' BDays are in October, but it KILLS me when the parties roll around! LOL. The kids were great swimming Saturday, but went wild when we came back to my house for cake, pizza and backyard football! Geesh! BOYS! LOL

Kim, like you, I think I'm going to do CTX this week. I don't use this one often, except to do Leaner Legs. So I think CTX is a great idea for this week. I'm not expecting my new DVDs until later this week (possibly later) either.

Thanks, ladies, SO MUCH, for checking in all month long. I can't tell you the last time I followed and COMPLETED a full rotation! I liked this one. Wasn't too easy, wasn't too hard. I didn't burn out on it, so that's always a good thing. I think I am going to follow one of the Nov rotations with the new workouts, but we'll see!

Morning Ladies,

Yes I finished this rotation. As Gayle pointed out this wasn't a hard one. But I really felt the burn in my shoulders. Maybe because they needed some work. I will be getting my DVD's tomorrow. So I'm planning the 4 week rotation that she has listed, but subbing in BM1 for BM2 today. Then by Tuesday I will be doing previewing for the rest of the week.

Thanks for hanging in with me this month also. It was fun.

Hi Ladies,

I also just finished the rotation. I loved doing Rhythmic Step this morning. This is my favorite Cathe step workout. Love the music and the choreography. Had a bit of a tough time. My asthma was really giving me a tough time this morning but I managed to get through it on an 8" step after using my inhaler. I think I'll just be choosing whatever I feel like doing until my new DVDs arrive and then I'll try the November rotation. Not sure whether I'll do the 4 or 5 week rotation. Thanks for checking in with me this month and for all your support. I really loved this rotation. It is definitely a keeper for me. I will be doing Jari Loved RTTC tomorrow. I haven't been able to fit that one in lately. Only did it once but really enjoyed it.

Looking forward to checking in with you guys again.
