Cathe's July Rotation Check-in: Week 3

Jennifer V

Cathlete
Hi everyone!

I've noticed a lot more people than just the three of us are reading this thread regularly. Does this mean there are more of you interested in this rotation? Just come on in, everyone is welcome, no matter where you are on the rotation!:)

Yesterday my body was telling me do do something other than step, so instead of StepWorks I did Christi's Heavenly Hi/Lo. I just wanted to dance!

As I look at the rotation this week, I realize I'm going to have to make some modifications. I'll be out of town for 2-3 days, to a cottage by a lake with no electricity. I think for strength this week I'll just stick to the PS Series, instead of combining it with S&H. Instead of spreading it out over several days, I'll do all the upper body at once today, legs tomorrow so I'll have it covered before I leave. I don't know if I can keep up with the cardio- I'll just make sure to swim, walk, play badminton, anything to keep myself moving.

Who is going to do this week as is?
Have a great week - get psyched!}(

Alright Jennifer...you CAUGHT me sneaking a peek at your thread! :7

Yeah, me too (peeking that is). Actually, I've been faithfully doing this rotation as I am forcing myself in not doing any traveling this month. So far, I've been pretty good at keeping to the schedule.

I am a day ahead on the rotation so I did PS Chest, Shoulders, & Triceps this morning. Instead of doing a run (not my cup of tea), I did the 25 minute cardio only portion of Body Max. It was perfect! :)

Hi Jennifer and everybody: ;-)

I did SJP hi/lo and toning sections with 20 minutes of flexibility stretches at the end. So far, I'm pretty much on target with the rotation. I'm very proud of myself for sticking with it, this is the longest I've EVER stuck to a rotation.

We are going on vacation to Mt. Rushmore on Friday so I am trying to get LOTS of workouts in and not miss one before we go. I'm sure we'll be walking a lot, but that doesn't compare to Cathe's workouts.

Talk to you tomorrow, Marcia :)

Hi Marcia, Debbie and Lorrayne!

I did do all the PS Upper Strength and Abs today. I didn't do every single exercise, but I lifted really heavy and quit a body part to failure.:D

Tomorrow it's Leaner Legs, and a 30 minute intense workout (instead of the run)- perhaps a CTX... I don't run!

Good morning all!

I have Step Works tonight and looking forward to it! I haven't done that one in quite a while, it will test my memory..... :)

Have a great day! It will be a scorture here in Minnesota today so the air conditioning will get a workout, too. :)

Marcia.

I got back yesterday from a relaxing trip to my aunt's cottage on a lake for a few days. So instead of Cathe I did aqua aerobics and strength workouts in the lake, using the noodle for a lot of the moves. What a fun break from this tough rotation!:7

Today I did Cathe's CTX Step & Intervals, and I plan on doing L&G this evening. I'll do what I can to catch up a bit.

Who else is still doing the rotation? Don't give up!;(

As a matte of fact I have been watching this thread. I really liked the looks of the last two weeks of the rotation. Also the extra cardio if you feel up to it. I did the extra cardio segment last week and this week. I started out this week planning on the last week but turned around. I ended up doing the Pyramids Mon. and Tues.(Tues. with Cathe's extra cardio ,lighter cardio and abs Wed. and so far Pyramid lower Thurs. and Today I did HSTA premix of w/up ,cardio only then Terminator Viper minus W/up. Then I did abs. Probably tomorrow I will do some cardio and abs for around an hour. Sunday will be off. Next week I have a busy week and plan on trying to fit in week three but in 5 days with two off.

Diane Sue,

I am in awe. You look fabulous! Are you sure about your age?;)

Today I plan on doing all upper body. Instead of PS, I might do Supersets or Push-Pull for variety.

I've been watching this thread also. This summer I have been doing 3 weeks Slow and Heavy, 2 weeks of circuits and then repeating the whole thing again (10 weeks total). I will be done with this in the middle of August. Then I plan on doing this (July 2004) rotation. I just want to see how all of you are doing with it, what kind of results you are having and how you are tweaking it if at all.:)

take care
Maggie

Jennifer ,
You are so kind. I couldn't be more sure of my age:) In fact I have a birthday next month, 52. I try and have my DH update my picture every so often. I am not real good at putting up pictures and sizing them.
