Cathe's Hair Style

I like Cathe's hair style on the pics for the following upcoming videos:

High Step Challenge
Gym Style Back, etc.

Can someone (or Cathe) tell me how this is achieved? Sorry, I'm not a hair stylist, and I'm sure it's simple to do, but I can't quite figure it out.

Also, I wonder if it give you a headache -- my hair's so thick and heavy, it looks like a style that would give me a headache, but I'm willing to try it.

Thanks!
Cyn

It is a hair piece that has a large clip attached. You clip it over your own pony tail. My daughter has one. You can buy them at professional beauty supply stores. They have to them to exactly match your hair and they look like the real thing. My daughter has thin hair so this gives her a nice thick, styled look in minutes. And it looks perfect all day. :)

You can buy these at alot of places but quality will differ! I recommend going to korean owned wig stores and have them match it up for you! They are specialists in my area and even make personalized hair clips!

Pony clips are located in malls, flea markets,Ulta, sally's beauty supply,Trade secrets,Claire's etc but there quality is not as good as the wig stores(IMHO)

Of course It's best to go in person to get a perfect match but you can also check out HSN to see Toni's Twin clips and styles(you may want to check when she's on to see how she changes styles-these clips are lifesavers esp for bad hair days ;-)

PS tried to pm you about this but it was disabled! HTH

Thanks, you guys -- I never guessed that it was a hair piece! I kept trying to figure out how in the world she got her hair to LOOK . . . well, as I said, I'm not a hair stylist/professional! :7

Sorry about the failed attempt to PM me; I didn't realize I had that feature disabled. I updated my profile to accept PMs for future use.

Anyway, thanks again, ladies! :)

Thanks for that Toni's website. I would love to go to a special wig store to be matched up. Anybody in the Atlanta area that could recommend a shop?

Great Resource in Atlanta

Lisa, I know a fabulous place: Bernadette's Salon, on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs (about 3 1/2 miles north of 285). I've been getting my hair done there for 15 years. It's an Aveda salon and wig gallery, and their selection of wigs and hairpieces is phenomenal (they work with oncology patients, so their stuff is very high quality.) Call them at 770-394-7539. :)

RE: Great Resource in Atlanta

Kathy,
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!. This is going to be so much fun. And I'm somewhat familiar with that area (we are 40 miles north of Sandy Springs). I cut corners in many ways but this is one of those things that I am willing to pay for high quality. Thanks so much.

Wow I would never have guessed it was anything but Cathe's own long hair!

It may look simple, but a lot of work obviously went into having the ladies look like that. Hairpieces, highlighting, not to mention body spray-tanning. It's all too high maintenance unless you're planning to star in a film any time soon.

Did I miss something on this hair piece issue. I thought it was all their own hair, why would they want to put hair pieces on when they all have such nice hair.

Rhonda,

That question can be asked about why we ladies do any of the things we do to ourselves (from the most mundane to the most extreme) to make ourselves look boo-ti-ful!

Wearing hair pieces looks like fun.

I am fine wiwth how my hair looks, but have often thought extension might be fun for a while... to me, it's just an accessory.

I'm trying to grow my hair longer. I actually am planning as a 40th birthday present to myself to highlight my hair for the first time. I'm indian in ethnicity (the india variety - american by birth/citizenship) and have black hair. (No grey yet. I inherit that from my mom, who at 72 has hardly any greys at all)
