Hello Cathe,

I am a 52 year young addicted work out girl. I have used your tapes for 20+ years. My question, your arms are the leanest and most cut I have seen on the new STS workout tapes and they look awesome. Did you do anything different to accomplish this, like change your diet?
Is there anyway you would tell us what is a daily menu for you? Do you eat clean all the time?

A few months ago Cathe posted about some struggles she's had with inflammation and how she's changed her diet recently to manage her food sensitivities. She hasn't written a super detailed description of her experience (she says she will sometime soon) but has often referenced a couple of nutritionists called the Nourishing Gurus who have really been life-changers for her. Sorry, I don't really know how to navigate the search feature on the new forums yet so I couldn't find the other threads.

So happy and honored to have been working out with you for 20 plus years. Since you already have the workout end of it down, then next critical step to getting your definition to pop forward is your diet. The cleanest, non processed foods of any kind are what will do it for you. The less you cheat the more ripped you will get. Check in with a registered dietitian to get the right ratio of calories in verses calories out so your metabolism stays active. Then have them draw up a food program that will be super lean yet nutrient dense to support your workouts. Eating super clean doesn't mean eating hardly anything. It just means eating hardly anything filled with empty calories. You will probably have to pay a fee for this personalized plan but it will be well worth it so that you get the right nutrients in your system to support your workouts/lean muscle mass and muscle recovery.
