Guten Tag Cathe!

Ich habe heute erst rausgefunden, dass Du 100% Deutsch bist und fluessig Deutsch sprichts. Wow, das ist echt super!
Ich lebe hier in Texas seit 4 1/2 Jahren, ich habe meinen Mann in Deutschland kennengelernt und so hat's mich nach Amerika verschlagen.
Ich wollte nur mal Hallo und Guten Tag sagen ;-)

Es freut mich dich kennenzulernen. Ja, ich bin Deutsch aber Zur Zeit ich habe nicht oft die Gelegenheit Deutsch zu sprechen. Entschuldigung wenn ich Fehler mache.

Hi Debbie! I was considering translating at first since I didn't want others to feel left out. I know you are just joking but I will give everyone the "nutshell" version anyway ;-).

Basically Kristine introduced herself and said she moved to Texas from Germany (4 1/2 years ago after meeting her American husband who her brought her to America). She also said she enjoys my workouts.

I welcomed her, told her my German may be a bit rusty and thanked her for visiting us and to visit here again.

Are your parents American born? I grew up speaking Polish, but married an all American guy. After my grandparents died, we just spoke English all the time.:(
My kids know a few words, but without people to converse w/ regularly, I've lost a lot of fluency. Do you speak German to your boys?

Which town/part in Germany are you from?
I'm from a tiny town called Geilenkirchen which is close to Aachen (not much bigger)...I'm in Nebraska now and have been in the US since 1996.
This made my day!!!!!!!!!

Wow that was a surprise from Cathe LOL. I wonder if Cathe is from Germany? It was fun to try and figure out what the heck they are saying!
