Cathe I did the two cardio pieces from your new 4 day split today. I did preview them first but no matter how many times I watch a step workout I can't seem to get the back to the tv stuff.
I am so spatially challanged it's embarrassing.
You wonderfully break down the easy steps when I'm facing the tv but when you start into the tricky moves you wickedly say something about my having to rewind.
Can you send me some steps like Arthur Murry (little cut out feet on a map for me to follow ) so I can do the steps that cross over-turn like a pretsel-jump-sissor-hop backwards inside outside cross over?
I'm half kidding. I feel so dumb that I can't figure out the back to the tv stuff quickly.
There's some steps on some of your other of your workouts that have my back to the tv as well and I've never gotten the steps right. You'd crack up if you saw what I did with them.

PS I love the new workouts. You keep me young. But, I've got a long way to grow with them!
 
You are too cute Colleen! You will be happy to know that attempting workouts as you learn them is a good calorie burner too :)
Try using the slow motion key on your remote and it will play the combo at a nice slow pace for you.

I'm off to do Lower Intensity Step & Sh/Cal/& Core.
I loved Octobers Heavy Weight Work rotation.
It took me awhile but I finally lost the 10lbs. post baby weight (ya, DS is 10 but I went into memopause right after he was born. OB said my hormones never recovered from giving birth at 43, who knew?)doing your workouts and rotations faithfully.

Stick with it Colleen! I did only Low Intensity segment of the 4-day split this morning for the first time and I absolutely cannot do the hip-hop L step without smiling. What a blast of fun that whole cardio portion is once you get the hang of it!!! Cathe has outdone herself in the land of choreography with this one in my opinion. I have to say I first watched this while on an airplane, and wanted to get out in the aisle and get started! But once I got to my hotel, I did the cardio portion without a step, and I think it helped as I had very little trouble adjusting once I pulled out the step this morning. Give it a try!

I'll check it out. I did LIS today and I got almost all of the moves. Yea!
Now for HIS tomorrow! Where's that slow button!

Hi Colleen,
I had the same problem until I turned my step so that it was diagonal to the TV so that you aren't really ever with your back to the TV. If you have the room this really helped. You will have to look a little sideways to the TV at some points but your not blindly doing the moves.

You are right. I had forgotten about placing my step on a diagonal when I'm learning new routines. That with the slow mo will get me where I want to go.
Hum. I made a rhyme.
I can't wait to see what Cathe cooks up for November.
