Cathe: where can I get those black dumbbells (Advanced Workout)

Hi Cathe,

I have been searching for black dumbbells of different weights for months now. Please tell me where you got yours and can I order them online. Thanks!

You can get 10 pound black dumbbells from http://www.fwonline.com/wneo.htm. It looks like 10 pounds is what they are using in the Advanced workout.

I am assuming you are talking about hexagon shaped dumbbells. Do you have a Walmart or Target near you? They usually carry them and you can save the S/H cost of them being mailed to you. Just an idea.

I also saw the black neoprene dumbells at Sears this weekend. They had them in weights ranging from around 3 pounds up to 10 pounds (I live in California though, so not all Sears may carry them).

Notice that they even have ONE POUNDERS!! I was thinking those might be great to grab to supplement 5's (2 in one hand, a 5 and a 1) for shoulders, especially rear delt and front raises, and for triceps.

You might try megafitness.com as well. I ordered 7lbs and 12 lbs from them but I told them ironcompany.com had them cheaper so they matched the price plus 10% of the difference.

I've seen the chrome handles with hex rubber heads at Dunham's too. They also have the neoprene coated. Before you order on-line, check out shipping - it can really add to the cost.

Thank you all very much for your help! Actually, I thought Cathe's dumbbells were the black vinyl coated (easier to clean) dumbbells . I was hoping to get those at varying weights but I wanted them all black. So I guess what's available is the black neoprene dipped dumbbells. Anyway, Ill check those stores and websites. Thanks again

Hi - I was just at Target yesterday, and they have the exact same style as Cathe's but they are blue. I know that you said you wanted black, I just thought that I would let you know since they are the same style as hers, not just the dipped ones. Just FYI.
