would it be alright to inform you/the members about a group called disaboom? it is basically an internet community for americans with disabilities or functional limitations in thier lives. just wanted to get the word out to others who may know people who could benefit from this site. as far as i know, even people without a disability can join.
i am a member and a guide with the achilles track club, and disaboom has partnered with them. they are a sponsor at this years marathon. i saw an amazing presetation last nite at the international athletes award dinner. one presenter was a 4 time paralympic medalist in alpine skiing.
i am off to the runners expo, and to visit with some of my former athletes. its tough to see them once a year.
